Onyx Studio 3 Dual Sound pairing Tutorial

- Step 1. Turn on the first Onyx Studio (a) and pair it with a bluetooth device.
Step 2. Turn on the second Onyx Studio (b)
Step 3. Keep pushing the bluetooth button on Onyx Studio (a) till it gives a special sound.
Step 4. Keep pushing the bluetooth button on Onyx Studio (b) till it gives a special sound.
Step 5. Wait for both Onyx Studio's to give a special sound and now their paired together!
We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning th-cam.com/users/postUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
connect 1 speaker successfully, then turn on the second speaker and hold down both blue tooth buttons at the same time . worked for me
Is it posible to pair, and if so, how to - pair active studiomonitors(Mackie CR4) that are not bluetooth with the onyx 3 ?

I have two of the onyx 4 models that i want to pair together. Unfortunately they seem to lag sometimes when i do this, like the sound dissapears for a second or so. Do you happen to know something i can do to fix this? They work fine when they are not paired.
Can I connect the speaker to a PS3 Game, so when I'm playing games,and watching movies the sound comes from the speaker? Is there any where in my settings on my PS3 that I can go to connect it?

I have 2 of the Studio 5's. The very first time I unboxed them I was able to sync both successfully. Meaning they both played music simultaneously. For a very short time. MINUTES!!!! Now they both with pair up but won't play together. The forward button makes them change speakers, but not tracks of songs. WTF???

Is there any lag between speakers if you have them in different rooms?
I know with the Samsung s8 they have a dual audio feature but it noticeably lags on the speakers so one is just a few milliseconds behind the other, was wondering if that was the case with these speakers when synced up.

When pairing two of these the bass disappears. When playing separately they work as the suppose to do. What to do? Help!
that is phase shift .. if bass disappear u have to reverse polarity of speakers , which is impossible here.

Mine won’t sync together.. i have two, i Connect one, and turn on the other and then the other one Connects. I press the «sync multiple» button, but nothing happens.. not even a sound. Do i have to do This with wifi? I try to use 4g, is it possible that thats the problem?
Try resetting the second speaker, by pressing the Bluetooth and volume button at the same time until it shuts down, then turn the speaker back on, and hold down the BT button on both devices at the same time and they should pair then.
Ok so mine aren't pairing together. As soon as one connects the other stops playing music sound etc.
ginammason79 You have to keep pushing in the Bluetooth logo on the Onyx Studio untill you hear a specific sound like in this video. You have to do this on both Onyx Studio 3's
Can you play music from the Spotify App on your phone to the "paired" Studio 4's? Does it just show up as a single connected Bluetooth device?

A special sound? The sound of frustration. Mine don't STAY paired, or connected for more than a couple hours at a time. Maddening.

Do you have to resync them every morning? Like link two together. When i link them together and it works but next morning after not playing music for 24 hrs they dont sync to each other anymore but only 1 speaker works i have to resync them again. Why is that?
You have to keep syncing them unfortunatly

Dude you showed nothing on here about pairing speakers. I tried the HK app and is limited on explanation.

Joshua Brewer they cannot pair to each other, the only way to pair them together is through aux cables or check my chromecast video to learn how to pair speakers wirelessly (chromecast does cost you a decent buck though)

Joshua Brewer my apologies, the onyx studio 1 doesnt have aux in. there is literally no way to pair the onyx studio 1 to something whatsoever because it doesnt have any aux ports (the micro usb is only for firmware updates)

Step 1. Turn on the first Onyx GAL (a) and pair it with your dongle .
Step 2. Turn on the second Onyx GAL (b)
Step 3. Keep pushing the "C" button on Onyx GAL (a) till it gives a special sound.
Step 4. Keep pushing the "G" button on Onyx GAL (b) till it gives a special sound.
Step 5. Wait for both Onyx GAL's to give a special sound and now their paired together!
