We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning th-cam.com/users/postUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
I still have this and sound it produces is amazing .

Im confused, you said to connect the cord to speaker - but you did not connect them; yet the sound played through the speaker. How did the TV play on speaker without the cord being connected?
If the speaker have 3.5mm audio jack input and TV has 3.5mm audio jack out then you can directly connect the cable to TV & speaker and the audio played on TV would be audible from speaker . 2nd method is to connect via Bluetooth where TV and speaker both devices should have built in bluetooth for audio sound reproduction and you can pair via Bluetooth, hope this answers your question .
Harmon Kardon Onyx Studio 3 is such a high end speaker I'm surprised it doesn't come with a remote control to adjust the volume. I've searched for an app but unable to find any that work. Any suggestions?
I believe those harmon kardon remote control apps only works with the WIFI harmon kardon speakers.

Hi i want to connect my onyx v3 to my toshiba tv i watched youre video but i didnot saw the connector from onyx because the onyx has connection at the back one is for the charger and one is for usb i dont know how i used
What is the exact model number of your Onyx Speaker ?
Once you've done that, can you connect a second Onyx 4 through HK Connect for stereo sound?

Get the Onyx Studio 5 it's worth it. Also the price is $100 cheaper than it was about a year ago.

Leave the speaker on all the time when there is no sound from sources
like aux and Bluetooth then it goes into standby mode. I have noticed
when the TV is switched on then the speakers detects the signal and that
is audible which is annoying .I recommend you switch it off from power
button if leaving the house for longer period of time.

Snax Bee , yes. keep it about 80% on onyx studio 3 , adjust the volume from tv.

If you Phillips smart TV has built in bluetooth then go to settings and search for HK Onyx Studio 7 & follow the on screen instructions to pair . If Phillips smart TV doesn’t have built in Bluetooth then check the HK onyx studio 7 has 3.5mm Audio output jack ( can’t find on the official spec sheet ) & Phillips TV has 3.5mm audio Jack input then connect using a 3.5mm Jack audio cable !!

I have done this with my tv and my onyx studio 7 speaker, but the sound is a lot more flat than it is when connected to bluetooth, sadly my tv doesnt support bluetooth any suggestions?
Buy a bluetooth transmitter

I did this but couldn't get any tv sound to come out while trying to watch tv
what is your TV make/model , speaker model ? Have you tried plugging in a mobile phone or ipod etc , have you tried a different cable ? Also once plugged in via 3.5mm audio cable , check the volume from TV /cable box is 20 to 30 % up minimum . try the above . Good luck.
I have a Samsung TV and a Onyx Studio 4. It find the HK O4 via bluetooth but when I try to connect it it just says something like "failed, make sure the bluetooth speaker is turned on".
Make sure your TV is updated to the latest firmware . Completely switch off both units turn them on again & try to pair if still doesn't pair then try connecting HKO4 with another Bluetooth device i.e your phone to see if it connects & stream audio . Try to segment your troubleshooting to eliminate devices one by one.

yes they do under UMC Deutschland GmbH. Their Panels are not bad , actually they give me a commercial panel feel for consumer level price .

ToniWz It must be in Europe im not sure. Blaupunkt is a small player here in the US. They do make quality stuff tho. Or perhaps its just a rebrand.
