    You could, but a wall does not have as much flexibility as a bag. Therefore every square inch of your hand will not get "the shock". The beans and steel shot in the bag is very hard but also flexible giving conditioning to every part of the hand.

    Thanks xanomaly! I appreciate it! Yes 50 per day. Go as high as 100 reps per day! Mung beans are great but rice is the best since it makes the bag so dense! The DVD is being done tonight and will be available within a couple of days!

    Our classes are vigorous physically so about 85% of my workout consists of Qi Gong, Iron Body, and the Exercises like Pushups, Pullups, Squats, Horse Stance, etc. we do during classes and on my own at home. But, I do have a weightlifting system with free weights at home that I like to use to cross train!

    I use Iron ore pellets. The reason being as the pellets start dusting it goes into the pore of your hands and you should be using a lament for more blood flow and bruising for faster healing . There more to it then smacking a bag and should be hitting the bag in a knife hand position . I even do my fingertips as well ....

    Yes it is! Depending on how you do it. Using Liniments and Herbs externally and internally is what we do but, it is not necessary. Have a great diet with lots of vegetables, grains, legumes, etc and your bones will heal strong and fast!

    Cool vid, a boxer would just use a punch bag, or Thai Boxer would use wood or trees, would achieve the same results. In Muay Thai my trainer used to tell us to kick trees with your shins for good conditioning, hurts like hell when you are starting out, basically the philosophy is to not hit anything which is greater than your own elements eg. bone to steel.

    Great teachings thank you, I subscribed, I have a question if you have the time, there is no negative side effects long-term of hitting the bare wall for you bones?
    Any advises to prevent injuries short and long term?
    Thanks in advance.
    Again, great teachings.

    Its so hard watching those arm wrestling fails when the arm snaps. I would think this kind of training is a MUST to those entering into professional arm wrestling.

    Ive studied Iron Palm since I was young, Ive fallen from trees, hit by a crazy taxi driver in Manhattan, fell down a 20 degree mountain side with big rocks, been hit with baseballs and even a bat once, pelted by pool balls, and even kicked in the ribs by a crackhead mugger. I have yet to break any bones, knock out any adult teeth, cavities, or chipped teeth. I twisted my ankle something bad, but bone was fine.

    I was taught that the Shaolin Grandmaster from the Fu Jian Shaolin Temple fled to Indonesia in the early 1900's and then taught Kung Fu from there! His specialty was Iron Palm! I was also taught that Iron Bone comes from Hua Shan! Who knows what is true and what is not!

      Yes

    • @SirSmurfalot
      @SirSmurfalot 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, but is not optimal because it packs together too quickly and does not have the slight amount of give from the larger bean/shot sized filler you need for the training.

    Does iron bone training still work after we have passed the age of peak bone mass (~ age 25-30)?

    • @Cin9999
      @Cin9999 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      of corse - also if you dont eat animal products that reduce bone mass and increase risk of fracture ...and eat enough calcium, vitamin d (sunlight) and vitamin k you bones will be stronger and stronger up till old age

  • @GongFuWarrior

    is it possible to make our bones unbreakable through iron bone training?

    • @rainynight02
      @rainynight02 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rajkumar rout
      No. You cannot make your bones "unbreakable" no matter what kind of training you do. You can only make them stronger and more difficult to break.
      Comparetively, you may seem "unbreakable" to others, simply because you are stronger than them.

      True that, nicely said! though the Chinese have known to be fantastics and won't stop until task accomplish! If that means to achieve the level beyond pinnacles. Even making a deal with the devil! That's the dark side of Chinese philosophy! It's in their DNA to accomplish the impossible!
