Here are just a few of the different types of livestock guardian dog feeders we use through out our ranch. Some of these are portable and easy to move from location to location, and some are more permanent. These are very helpful keeping unwanted animals from eating our dog feed. Also keeps goats from them as well. Once your dogs know that's where the food lies, they catch on pretty quick on the jump gate design.

How do you keep ants out of the dog food? Is that what the petroleum jelly is for? Fire ants are bad in our area.
