- Before and after of stock exhaust and compared to new Magnaflow catback exhaust. Comparison of volumes, short clips of installation, and driving. Third section is kind of windy, though, so sound is rough. Forgot to add that my 0-60 time improved 1/10 and 1/4 mile was 2/10 better. I do not own any music heard in the background, it was from a shop radio in the background. All audio rights belong to the artists. Thanks to Integra Tire in Fernie, BC for installation.

Did this work with the active function of the stock exhaust?
It didn't have the active exhaust on that one, so I don't know.
You should invest in a windscreen for your audio.
Hi James, lower mainland guy here. Don't know if you still have the car, but I'm looking at this exact same Magnaflow 19209 for my Hemi 5.7. After you had it for a long time, anything else to add, especially with drone? I don't want to make my wife upset.
No, don't have the car anymore (and I regret letting it go), but there was no obnoxious drone. My car was a manual, and I did notice less engine braking on downshift, but it's to be expected with less back pressure in the exhaust.
How much did it cost? I’m thinking with all the clamps someone could save the labor and do it themselves.
It would be easy to do with a hoist. I didn't have one. I paid $80 or so for installation, IIRC, around 3/4 hour labor.
Why didn't you get the 392? Do you prefer the 5.7 to the 6.4?
1) the dealership didn't have any. 2) the 5.7 was in my budget.
3) haven't had the car since 2018, when I traded in for a 2018 Corvette.
What exhaust should I put on my 2021 Dodge Challenger R/T ScatPack WideBody? Should I put on Borla or Magnaflow XMOD?
It depends on your personal taste. I compared video clips of sound before I got the Magnaflow. The Borla sounded more raspy to me, and I preferred the deeper tone of the Magnaflow. But, some people prefer louder and more raspy.

Bro i was able to get 5.6 in my R/T if you go a bit easy when launching the car, mine is manual. The car sounds nice BTW

My rt 5.7 runs a 4.6 0-60 stock. But I'm in new Jersey and at sea level so that makes a big difference

I don't know. I haven't owned the car for almost 2 years now. It'll be on the Magnaflow website.
Did you remove the resonators ?
Yeah, everything from behind the catalytic convertor back is replaced with the cat back exhaust.

Damn 6 seconds, with a mid muffler delete only my 2021 is getting 5.5 0-60
Are you getting 5.5 at 4500 ft altitude? Is your car auto or manual? How much gas was in your tank, what was the ambient air temperature? There's so many variables. The "official" tested times for a stock 5.7 Challenger 0-60 are anywhere from 4.8 to 5.5 seconds, depending on which magazine or company did the testing, and where and when they were testing.

It's been a few years, but IIRC, it was around $1200 Canadian.
My God that altitude kills your performance. If you were close to the coastline at sea level you would be at 13 seconds for a quarter mile
I did race it at 1/8 mile drags at lower elevation, about 1500 feet, and got 9.1, which is high 13s in a quarter, apparently. I traded that car off this summer, and am kind of regretting it, though the car I traded it in for is faster.

I got a 2108 Corvette 1LT. I'll post some vids when I do some modifications on that one.
My sxt has a 5.6 0-60
At 4500+ ft altitude, unless it's modified, it wouldn't. Motor Trend, with a professional tester, ran a 2015 SXT Plus in 6 seconds, official time is 6.1 for stock SXTs. That was at a much lower altitude than 4500 ft.

@@MrLOGAN0045 just the weight. They're a fairly heavy car. Having said that, I liked the ride much more than a Camaro or Mustang, a lot of that comes from a few hundred extra lbs.
I don’t understand I’ve got a 17 rt shaker and my stock sounds 10x better than this stock yes mine is a manual so it doesn’t have rev limiter but even the startup
Mine was a manual, too. Maybe there was a change in stock exhaust between 2016 and 17?

Auto or manual? Sounds about right for that elevation. Add almost 2000 more feet in elevation and you'd lose about 8% time. So, about 5.7 to 5.8 seconds.
