They said it’s a single playable character, meaning any version of a character that already exists is crossed off the list, anyone with transformations is not viable. However I REALLY hope it’s just the stand alone character of Ultra Ego Vegeta

Since they treat all the transformations as separate characters, I’m thinking it won’t be Beat or Shallot, since both of them would take multiple slots with their transformations.
I’m predicting that Beast Gohan will be in the season pass, and that Arale will be added with OG Dragon Ball characters, so either as a future season pass or copefully in the base game.
Overall I’m leaning heavily in the direction of Ultra Ego Vegeta. We’ve got some manga-only moves, and with Blue Evolved being treated comparable to Goku’s Blue Kaioken, that means Vegeta (Super) has room for an additional transformation.

That's false. They are allowed to use manga content, but dont because it may hurt sales when the anime releases or confuse the common dragon ball fan(in japan the common fan to them means someone who may buy a game or two and whatches the anime and usually only the anime)

@TatsuyaTieze4qi that makes me excited too, it means that they could be cooking up something real good, especially with how SSBE is used like in the moro arc aswell(might have been lazy but still liked its inclusion, especially since it is the improved SSBE we see in the manga and not the first appearance version)

Although I would love to see Ultra ego, this is just wishful thinking. With Ultra ego as a pretty hype character they wouldn’t add him as the bonus but instead as a hype dlc we would pay for later on plus like you said with shueisha breathing down Bandai Namco’s back it’s not gonna happen. Arale has already been in the game. Beast gohan is definitely getting milked for a dlc, he’s too popular of a form. The dragon ball heroes/legends character would be cool but I doubt it. We will most likely get something from daima since they said never before seen in a game but I HOPE you prove me wrong I really do because ultra ego would be gasssssss fighting against ultra instinct with these new graphics omg 😭🥵

well it has been confirmed that they are able to use Manga Characters but have decided not to put them in because they think people will get confused on which character is which but what they could do is for the Anime Characters they could put Anime next to them and for Manga they could put Manga next to them so people know which one is which if you want to know how I know this search this up on TH-cam WAIT... THERE'S MANGA CONTENT!!! DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO by President Rose.

@TatsuyaTieze4qi yeah I don't know if its true but I hope it is because Ultra Ego Vegeta Looks Fire.
They never confirmed that they can do Manga Characters, if they could, they would’ve done that by now, especially with money making games like DB Legends or XV2, if anything, they are waiting on the actual Anime to return, as it would be more difficult to do them when there’s no Official Voice actors for Characters like Moro, Granola, Gass ect, and they’ll have to try and work with literal stills instead of Animation when it come to making the Manga Characters, Modders have tried, but they usually ain’t even close to what they’ll actually do in the Anime.
All they’ve shown, is that they can add some Manga skills, as they’ve done that before in XV2, as they added Prominence Flash, which was a skill Vegeta did in the DBS Manga, but back then it didn’t have a name yet, and they are adding that actual skill in Sparing Zero, as SSJB Vegeta could do it in the Demo Gameplay.
