I was at this show and I can tell you this song brought the entire theater to its feet. The band was on point the entire night (as they always are), but this song was truly special. My friends and I caught Jonathan as he was leaving the venue and stopped to tell him how much we all loved this. He was quite gracious and appreciative, so that was a nice way to cap a great night and show. Outstanding video.
Holy moly, I'm 55 and have listened to Rush since the beginning and I've never in my life heard a better rendition of this song. Amazing guys, amazing.
YYNOT never ceases to amaze me. Great Rush covers. Great original music. And now playing with people that played with Rush, on a song that the boys didn't play live until 30 years after its initial release. I've been saying goodbye to Jeff Beck all weekend, then this comes on my feed. There's symmetry there. One legend exits, and I'm lucky to have found new musicians to take the art to a new place.
Wow... ❤ This may be the best Rush cover I've ever seen, and that's saying a lot. Dinklage's playing was note-for-note perfect, and the look on Patty's face watching him solo was priceless. She clearly realized she was part of an incredible musical moment. And props to Patty for playing and singing those parts, which can't have been easy. Thank you so much for this. It truly brought a tear to my eye, thinking about Neil and the lyrics of this great Rush tune.
What an impressive tribute to the original song. Having Mr. Dinklage on stage with you all had to be a tremendous personal moment for each musician. Bravo to Billy, Tim, Mike, Patty and of course Johnathan.
Rather than cover band, I describe them as a band performing RUSH songs. At some point the RUSH back catalogue will be considered as "rock standards" just as "standards" from other music styles.
So f'n awesome to get a guy who has played on stage with RUSH! Absolute chills! No doubt in the world now who the greatest Rush Cover/Tribute, band in the world is!
Forever blessed to have attended Bubba Bash. An absolutely fantastic evening and "Losing It" was a highlight. Having Jonathan Dinklage attend and play felt like being in the presence of Rush royalty. Incredibly emotional moment in an evening full of them. Thank you YYNOT for assembling an amazing line-up of guests. For the first time since his death I felt as if I was celebrating Neil instead of mourning him.
Awesome. Freaking awesome. I wonder what Jonathan thought while he was playing, if he drifted into the ether and thought Geddy and Alex and Neil were with him for a fleeting moment. No one cover Rush better than YYNOT. What a great tribute for Neil. RIP, Professor!
One of my favorite Rush tracks (fan since 78) and sad it wasn't on R40 setlist at San Jose. Thank you so much to YYNOT for keeping the spirit of Rush alive with your fantastic live covers. I always wondered whether Alex, Ged and Neil saw something of themselves in these lyrics on the last 3 tours - not that they weren't still awesome, but between Alex's arthritis, Ged's range contracting and Neil's feet suffering from long wet rides, it must have been hard to accept less than the perfection they always expected of themselves.
WOW! I’m not sure how this amazing song fell through the cracks for so many decades. It’s awesome and was fortunate to this performed by Rush. The violin solo is off the charts! Thank You! for this video. DAMN I miss Rush, at least I have you.
Blown away ... that was absolutely phenomenal!! The quintessential Rush deep track and always one of my favorites ... much more emotional now with Neil's passing and you all did him proud!! Thank you for this ...
That was amazing, congratulations to the whole band and especially to Jonathan Dinklage, it was a beautiful performance to a beautiful song! thank you for that! ❤
This is proof that destiny exists I first came across Patty 3 yrs ago and was honestly amazed at this young lady sitting in a field playing closer to the heart and the joy she expressed playing it and in my opinion at least for now she's where she belongs I'm overjoyed they found each other it's kinda cool that destiny shows it's self every now and then
Absolutely agree, I’m pretty old and I’m amazed at her vocal range and power. Count me as a fan and I’ll follow her career going forward. I got to meet her for a minute after a Mayhaps gig and she was cool and sweet too just like you’d imagine.
So great ... listening to Rush since the early 80s ... one of the most important bands of my live ... your covers are great ... greetings from Germany :)
I needed this! What a fantastic performance!! The audio quality is simply sublime. Congrats to the person manning the board. This has everything in it that makes a *GREAT* live recording! Just enough ambient for excitement without the musicians sounding sterile. Tip of my hat to that person!
Smiles and a little tear, I can hear your hearts in the music, even if it is a cover... got a new fan and subscriber.. also listening to your original music, all smiles don’t stop, we need more music with heart. ❤
Oh the memories, how many incredible gifts(songs) we received from the best band ever. Thank you YYNOT for letting us enjoy such an amazing render of this master piece.
A song I'd NEVER be able to perform, despite it being reasonably within (though at the high end of it, admittedly) my singing range, and the fact that I've had it down word-for-word for more years than I can even accurately recall without doing the arithmetic. I'd be too busy trying to keep from breaking down in tears to carry a tune. Just listening to it is enough to start me leaking at the eyes more often than not. Too much emotion, too close to my heart, and too true - "Sadder still to watch it die, than never to have known it - to you the blind who once could see..." You didn't "lose it", Neil. It was taken from you by force. RIP, Professor. You're sorely missed.

Absolutely fantastic!
❤❤ love the violin 🎻
Go figure this song was recorded for non live playing till the r40 tour

personally thought her giggle at the end was the creme de la creme :D
I might just watch this another five times tonight
He got the same looks from Rush when he played with them on this song.
My all time favorite Rush song from their entire catalog. Seeing Jonathan perform this again is very special. Thanks everyone!
This song gets me right in the feels every time.
She cannot sing that song. Band was awesome
Doesn't matter who covers it, the words are so amazing
What an impressive tribute to the original song. Having Mr. Dinklage on stage with you all had to be a tremendous personal moment for each musician. Bravo to Billy, Tim, Mike, Patty and of course Johnathan.
YYNOT picks up where Rush left off!
By far the BEST Rush cover band !!!
Rather than cover band, I describe them as a band performing RUSH songs. At some point the RUSH back catalogue will be considered as "rock standards" just as "standards" from other music styles.

Took me days to come down. Now I have withdrawal symptoms! Marietta, OH next. Bubba Bash 2024 awaits.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!! Amazing!
Pratt and the other two knuckle heads would be proud. I was fortunate enough to see this played live many yarns ago....
Chills. Patty is unbelievable
I was there! Great show at the Keswick.

Dinklage is freaking awesome. I saw YYNOT 3 times in the last year and no dinklage sign that guy up.
This is done extremely well, although since Neil's passing for me it's not easy to watch and hear Rush music.
Holy crap, that's really Jonathan Dinklage. Wow. Impressed!
Holy shit. Amazing. Well done, gang. Flat out killing it doesn't come close to describing how good that was.
Awesome. Freaking awesome. I wonder what Jonathan thought while he was playing, if he drifted into the ether and thought Geddy and Alex and Neil were with him for a fleeting moment. No one cover Rush better than YYNOT. What a great tribute for Neil. RIP, Professor!
"Here again" & "Losing it"... imortals... Rush forever. 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Jonathan is like the Jeff Beck on the violin... what a monster player
The solo from 2:54 was fucking stunning. My favourite Rush song brought to a different level
