Love love love having a washing machine onboard. Never stay in van parks but we do keep a spare water pump and will often pump water from a river. What I don’t like is the fact that mine is now a front loader. I would never entertain that idea, but unfortunately our second hand van came with it. If you have a top loader, you don’t even need a pump as you can bucket the water in from a river. Or, we will often get to a town and check out the water situation (make sure it’s good enough for our tanks) and then head off to the local oval, do the washing with our tank water whilst having lunch, then go to the water point a refill tanks. You will wonder how you managed without one. (Just like the coffee machine) 😊
Lovely area , I'm not a coffee drinker, saves me a lot money, I put a 5kg washing machine in when I built my van, IT had its day , now I just use 2 flexible plastic containers, 1 soap, 1 rinse, simple can't break down, works well, Enjoy the east coast, Cheers Bevan Sapphire Central Queensland 🤠❤️🦘🦘🇦🇺
My Dad lives just out of Tumut. We have been going to Blowering since it was built in the late 1960s. Top spot. The western side has some great camp spots too. Have also camped at Jones Bridge.
G,day, happy new year 🎉👍🍺, if your heading towards Bega just up the road is Mystery Bay, a favourite place of mine. It’s not free but it’s not toxic either and if you stick to the right hand edge of the camping area it’s easy beach access and safe swimming. I go way down the other end it’s a bit more secluded with older toilets and showers with a little walk to the water, plenty of choices. We’re packed up and off to Nug Nug for a week or so 👏👏👏 . Stay strong and happy travels 👁👁😃😃🐕🦺❤️🇦🇺
Happy New year! We did 3 weeks to 'try out' van travel in 2022 and laundromats did my head in! The cost was ridiculous and a washing machine was one of the first non negotiables when we ordered our van. It looks like a very cute little space machine but I am very glad we put it in😊
The kids are just fantastic that’s from a grandmother Also I still didn’t hear which camp chairs you settled on Agree the washing machine is a toss up Suspect you won’t bother I never miss an episode Love you all
Thanks so much Helen! We had Snowpeak chairs for a little while and really liked them. We've since gotten our hands on some different ones (very recently) and are testing them out. Keep an eye out on our channel and we'll let you know what we think of them once we've had a chance to use them a bit.
Happy New Year to you all. Great episode. I wouldn’t be without my washing machine in our van. It’s just a small front loader on the wall, it sure saved me a lot of money not having to use the park ones all the time. I did still use them for the big items like sheets and towels.
Happy 2023 to your beautiful family! Thankyou for sharing your adventures ! What coffee machine did you end up purchasing ? What do you like the most about it ? cheers , safe travels and look forward to journey ! 😛
Thank you! You too! We really appreciate that. We got a Breville amzn.to/3CiprFY We love the quality of the coffee it makes; it's low mess and is really consistent with the tamping feature built-in. We've had 2 different friends buy them since, and they all love them. The black is pretty sexy as well 😉
Also we are planning to travel down to Tumult this autumn We have a 20.6 Zone but just a Nissan Navarra Ute and want to avoid any steep passes What is your opinion of the road Tumult to Cooma Appreciate your advice
You'll love it, it's an amazing area. The climb from Talbingo heading towards Yarangobilly is quite steep, but relatively short. That derive will be in next weeks episode if you want to check it out 👌
Nice one guys. Good decision to go for coffee you wouldn't have made it 5 days without coffee you could have ended up divorced HAHA. I agree a burger isn't a burger without beetroot.

Good points! You're likely spot on, there's every chance it's a case of no knowing what we're missing.
Beautiful! Waterfall walk. Great spots guys! Lovely to see.
Glad you enjoyed it
Happy new year hope 2023 is good toyou
Cheers. Same to you 🙌
We spent the winter down that way at Greg Greg looking after a sheep farm for six weeks. Beautiful place to explore. Another great vid.
Sounds great! Thanks, Brett

Tomato paste. Hahaha 😆 😂

Couldn’t agree more about beetroot on a burger, it’s so Aussie, but so many places only serve American burgers now, way to much sauce & no beetroot 😢
Absolutely 💯 🙌

Having the cam close is one thing but sometimes .... :-) cheers... Noice episodes...
Thanks, Mark. We had a heap of camera issues filming these ones. Hopefully got it sorted now
Another great episode guys! The waterfall is Ryan's Falls & it's normally only a trickle. Nice to see it with plenty of water 😉
Thanks for that! It was pretty incredible 😍
What a great walk 😍
It really is!
Would be nice to know when you get to Bega
We've been and left, John. This one was filmed a month or so before Xmas 👍

@@TheLifestylePioneers cheers thankyou ! We actually bought that very one today so get to test out our skills in the morning ! 😀
Great vid! Subscribed. Wondering how much the van weighs (loaded and unloaded)?
Thanks for the sub! We've done a video about weights including all ours... th-cam.com/video/cH2KXLwtgQ4/w-d-xo.html
40kg under after ya clean out 😲 🤔 Hahaha Coffee run 🏃 🏃♀. Washing machine is ya washing basket 🧺 when full Wash 🤪😎
It's a constant balancing act with weights. We cleaned out some gear and picked up some gear, it shows how easily it can add up though.

Did you hit any emus as there always seems to have a shite load of them when I have gone that way
No, this was the only one we saw.

Our thoughts exactly 😂👍
Can I ask what you use to find the free camps? Is it an app?
We use Wikicamps mostly. Other than that, chatting with other travellers or locals can be helpful.
how are you going to survive without the coffee i go threw about 6 to 8 cups a day
We try and limit to 2 each per day 😆 It's OK, we didn't go without!
Get a washing machine
We have one now, but it's definitely not a 'must have' item.
Very few things in life are
