- Got to play with it a little today... Would have loved to have some riding footage, but my year old GoPro Hero 9 Black gave up the ghost. It's been locking up and freezing, and the firmware updates have made it worse than ever.

Very nice! Plan on buying one myself after the new year. Love the sound of the crossplane.

Dude, TH-cam is whacky. About 10% of the time I get an email telling me someone commented, and when I click on it, there is no post... Not sure where they go!

I’ve got a 2021 R1 in blue on hold here in Michigan currently. Supposed to get it Thursday. But.. the otd price seems a bit much. This shop told me it’s $24,500 otd would you mind sharing your otd price? I’m trying to figure out some real numbers so I can corner them Thursday and get that price down some.

A lot less than that! Mine was just under $20k out the door with sals tax and everything. The dealer is marking it up and charging extra fees, to compensate for them not having many bikes to sell, which to me is a scumbag move.

@@MrMikeSativa That price is about right. In this market, expect to pay full MSRP, but don't let these dealers get away with "Market adjustment surcharge". That translates to, "We don't sell as many cars, so we are just gonna mark up the ones we have"...
GM put the clamp down on that recently, telling all their dealers, that if they see them jacking up the price of the cars over MSRP with these types of fees, that they will terminate their dealer's license. Shut them down and put them out of business, basically...
More brands need to take a stance like that with regards to dealer price gouging...
That price is way too high! I paid $18,500 OTD for a 2022 R1.
Regarding the break in period, i think maybe they say that so in case something wrong happened with the bike because of a manufacturer error you won’t be going so fast and it would minimize the impact or damage if it happened. Maybe.
Legal liability is probably part of it, sure...
I got no problems using the gopro app on my phone with my gopro10. Sucks that its not working for you. I also give it to my friend to download to his pc and he makes videos with filmora. Anyways

Yeah, gonna get it out the next decent weather day and take it to the mtns... Needs some basic stuff like a tail tidy, but crash protection is the primary goal right now. I will do the decat and ECU flash in a couple months, and unlock this thing, but in the meantime it has stupid performance so its not like it needs it. I would be content for awhile just with the exhaust to get it to sound right, but doing that gives it a real flat lean spot and I don't want to do that to the motor. I might just have the ECU flashed to unrestrict it, and ride it around stock exhaust for a time... I mean, it might help draw less attention to it from Johnny Law... haha
@@SquireSCA hahahah yes i definetly agree on the stock exhaust as thats what im sticking with on my bike. Crash protection and tail tidy is a must. 👍
@@rider6.0 I did order a 15T sprocket, gonna do the -1 on the front mod.... Cheap $30 performance... It's not like it needs more acceleration... It's just that 1st gear is SOOOO tall... The bike is geared to do 200mph, but the ECU limits it to 186mph... Going -1 on the front, lowers top speed to 188mph, so it should be perfect...
I have gopro 9 black and it works flawlessly

she is faster on 2 wheels, mayb try learning speedshifting like vr46 (might shedding some seconds per lap on track too) :))
Not sure what you mean by speedshifting. It's got a quickshifter, which I use and have had on several other bikes...

Its hard to find a bad bike today. If I was to be a "guy", I would be Ducati or Triumph. Those are my favorite brands, but, there are so many cool bikes out there, life is too short to stick with one brand or the other...

Those engines are solid for very high mileage. I still daily my GOPRO Hero 2.✌
