@@sbennetone thank you for commenting! I have the same problem. To answer your question, seasoning the pan (kind of like when you season a cast iron skillet) helps a little bit, but it’s not a permanent solution. I’ve been over here scrambling my ‘just eggs’ lately because of the nonstick pan debacle. I personally may have to invest in a new pan or some sort of omelette making product. Anyway, I hope this somewhat helps! You’re not alone in the nonstick pan struggle 🤎
Two thoughts on the just egg sticking. First you probably have the heat to high. Next is the non-stick surface is worn out. I use butter let it melt first then pour the just egg in the pool of melted butter. Less than a teaspoon. Never sticks unless the the surface is to hot. 320° to 330° is about right..takes a bit longer but better results. Not sure what oil you are using? Best guess is you pan is to hot.
Thank you for the tip about only cooking it on one side and not flipping. I've never been able to make a Just Egg omelet, because I've always tried flipping it. But I was able to make one today. :)
How do you keep the JUST Egg from sticking? No matter what I try it sticks to the pan. I've tried non-stick pans, non stick pans with olive oil, non stick pans with cooking spray, tried non stick ceramic pan, ceramic pan with spray and/or olive oil. Thanks.
Really enjoyed your video. Very relaxed and genuine 👌. I'm a big Just Egg fan. I make omelets almost daily. I've found it likes to be cooked at 320° - 330 ° on pre- heated non-stick surfaces. I add a couple of dashes of Kala Namak (black salt) to enhance the egg flavor. Like you I saute my ingredients prior to cooking the Just Egg liquid. My favorite ingredients are: onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, bacon bites(can be vagan) and some hash brown potatoes, some chedder and mozzarella cheese. Use a little butter, season with salt and pepper. I use 4 oz. of Just Egg, pour in the shape of a pancake, as it bubbles Add the ingredients to half of the pancake now I add some cilantro, then fold the empty half over the filled side. Finish cooking to desired doneness. A little Frank's original hot sauce adds a nice touch of heat. The Just egg people have introduced a new frozen version they call Just Egg Folded. Perfect for sandwiches and other nifty treats. Suggest you visit the Just Egg website for recipes and tips and details of the new Folded product. 😀 OK they've been able to reduce their suggested retail price. I just got 6 bottles at Wal-Mart for $3.94 ea.
Thank you, I appreciate your comment! I've been meaning to get my hands on black salt. I've heard it's life-changing lol. And I love this recipe you provided! I'm going to try this out; it sounds absolutely delicious.
@@celestialvegantingz you can order Kala Namak (black salt) on Amazon. It is actually pink, no idea why it's called black salt? It doesn't take much to get the additional egg flavor. I cook my omelets and scrambles on a Smokeless Grill, you may have seen the advertised on TV. I got mine from HSN. It has presicise temperature control and a very high quality non-stick surface. This makes cooking things very easy once you determine the optimal temperature for whatever you are preparing. Fluffing the Just egg with a spatula to monitor it's "donenes" is really helpful to know when its ready to fold in half. They are on version 3.0 of Just Egg. They have made it even better tasting and texture. They have a coupon on their website for dollar off. Printed a few and was able to get a dollar off 4 bottles. That means I was paying only $2.94 each at Wal-Mart. Not sure how many times I can do that but was very grateful for tha savings! Be well!
Thank you! I figured the key is to have it on medium heat in a nonstick pan and to NOT TOUCH IT until it’s ready to fold over. It was a steep learning curve, but we figured it out 🙌🏾
Will I be able to use an electric omelette maker to cook this omelette in please. Also your roast potatoes look amazing can you please share your recipe
I think you can absolutely use an electric omelette maker to make this! It would probably be easier because it’s not easy to flip in a pan. And I can absolutely make a video on my roasted potatoes. Thank you for watching!
@@celestialvegantingz I made a vegan omelette in a blender first then poured it into an electric omelette maker and it turned out fab. Yes please make a video of your lush roasties Elizabeth x

Low heat, easy touch, scrape around edges

How can this be a "vegan" omlette when you used sausage and cheese?
I used Field Roast sausage, Daiya cheese, & Follow Your Heart cheese which are all vegan 😁❤️
Ginger, you didn't really go there did you 😂
