Thank you for responding so quickly to the news with this fitting tribute to one of the greatest leaders of our time. The best tribute we can pay to the man is to follow his example, to seek peace and unity despite our many differences. R.I.P. Nelson Mandela.
What an amazing man. He spent his hole life fighting for what he believed in, fighting for what is right, and never gave it up. I don't care who you are this mans life and legacy is what we should all strive to do for what we believe in no matter the cost.
"I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear." -Nelson Mandela
most people, in my opinion, play lip service to the greatness of Nelson Mandela. Mandela,in my opinion, was probably one of, if not the greatest, human beings to ever walk the face of this earth.ANyone who doubts or even questions his greatness has some screwballs in his or head I believe. To go through what he went through, and still have no remorse and only love in his heart especially towards the very people that enslaved him, shows what a great man he was and his legacy will never be forgotten. God bless Mandela and the ANC!
This news ruined my night. Such a great man. Up there with Gahndi and MLK Jr. The iconic thing is that the Nelson Mandela biopic was just released a few days ago. R.I.P
while Mandela was imprisoned he recited a Poem to other oppressed inmates this poem was "Invictus" by William Ernest Henley, its my favorite poem and here is the text Out of the night that covers me, Black as the pit from pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul. In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the horror of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds and shall find me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll, *I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.*
R.I.P. Nelson Mandela!!! You were a legend, you told your people a story about the journey! I don't care that you spent most of your life in prison! I cared that you were trying to help your people with apartheid!!!
Rest in peace brother Madiba! African Lion, Freedom Warrior!...the Struggle Continues...NEVER GIVE UP... AFRICA FOR AFRICANS...Brotherhood from Algeria! ... WE LOVE YOU FOR EVER
This is what defines (spelling) true heroes and role models! Not Pop/rock stars nor actors! He was a true inspiration for the rest of the world! RIP man! RIP!
I wasn't born when Nelson was doing what he was doing. But i sure do love this guy! Insperational and big idol in my world for what he has done. The world is cruel but there are people like him out there.
People need to stop saying the he was a terrorist because he wasn't and he did more good than bad and he served time in prison for the bad things he done even though he had no choice to use violence because after the Sharpeville massacre in which 69 people were killed during a peaceful protests his only options were to start using violence or keep on doing peaceful protests and let more people get killed. R.I.P Nelson Mandela
It seems that some people does't like this video but I don't know why. He did many important things. Color of skin is not related to our personality and humanity. All of us are same. And them we have to be fair all the time.
They probably had this video stocked. Nothing wrong with that though, his death wasn't exactly a surprise. R.I.P. one of the greatest leaders in history!
How the hell did he do all of this?? His will is legendary, I hope one day someone will emerge with the courage and determination this man had for a better world.
www.wnd.com/2000/07/5704/ just 1 piece u can read. if you look and research your history lot of violence he did'nt condone. even sanctioned the bombing of churches. and many things his wife has done he didn't stop or condone any of this.
He had the RIGHT IDEA his whole life! I'm GLAD he finally got the awards and position that he should have had from the start! He had to put up with a criminal form of government, that kept him Incarserated a long while, but I'm glad he was freed to go on and make the difference he had tried to make, frim his youth!
You clearly ignorant to what Nelson Mandela has done in South Africa , he was a humanitarian and was given a noble peace prize for his lifes work . He could have led South Africa to a civil war but instead he united South Africans together in peace . Get your facts straight before you start throwing around racist and stupid comments .
and was given a noble peace prize for his lifes work . ----------------- 1) Obama also get noble prize 2) united South Africa is myth - google "south africa+white+murder"
While it is sad that the world is now without the greatness of this man, this father figure of a nation, he became almost a hundred years old. I would say that he, if any, deserves the peace of death. I would have liked for him to keep on going for decades to come, but despite all his prowess and achievements, Nelson Mandela was but a man. He left us with dignity and without a wake of corruption, only fitting for a man of his status.
You can either live your life like Nelson or you can yell "Yolo! Swag!" and punch your grandma in the face. It's a strange feeling, thinking about how extremely different the people on earth develop.
There are good times for jokes and there are bad times for jokes. Though this isn't necessarily a bad time for any jokes, it is a bad time for those kinds.
I KNOW BUT REALIZE HE IS IN A BETTER PLACE HE WOULDNT WANT US T BE SAD BUT TO LIVE ON AND BE HAPPY AND REMEMBER HIM FR THE MAN HE WAS SORRY I TYPED IN CAPS
Arthus850 its sad you make fun on a gamerlevel on the death of mandela who definetly REBUILD his country all by his ideals. i think its sick what you did here guys, this is not the place for gamerjokes.
Never give up fighting for peace, never give up fighting against tyranny even if the odds are against you. That's what I learned from this great man may he rest in peace and never forget him.
Nelson Mandela will always be a shining example of healing a nations wounds. He could so easily have chosen a harsher route, but chose the more difficult task of asking every southhafrican to forgive eachother for the dark years of opression and segregation.
I hope people stop complaining about this video and respect the people from WatchMojo that they made this great small video-bio-pic for us. The world has lost a great inspirational man today, please remember that instead of nagging about this. WatchMojo, thank you for this great video about Nelson Mandela.
He may not be perfect for some but I know that he did something great one point in his life, something that made an impact to the world, unlike those who are talking negative here (what's their name again??) pessimists..
Nelson was a great man who simply wanted equality and fairness. The way people treated him and the was the Government reacted makes me feel ashamed to be a human. RIP.
Thank you for responding so quickly to the news with this fitting tribute to one of the greatest leaders of our time. The best tribute we can pay to the man is to follow his example, to seek peace and unity despite our many differences. R.I.P. Nelson Mandela.
What a great, brilliant, graceful, astonishingly brave human being.
We'll not see exactly his like again.
Hawksmoor...From The Bleed.

These are the two ways of living? One might assume I am undead for neither of these two is my way.
Never said so. These are two ways of about a few billion ways to live your life. And of course, one might assume you are undead.
As I suppose your (newest) comment was at least partially of comedic substance, I have to say mine was as well.
gilberto zarco
I neither know who you're talking to nor the meaning of your strangely messy word salad.
well I'm talking to you!
My PC takes such a long time to shut down I've decided to call it Nelson Mandela.
Such a wonderful, inspirational man. A great leader, its such a shame he was sick for so long. He will be missed. R.I.P!
