- Flying British Airways Club World to Moscow which is really the name for the British Airways Business Class Product.
Airbus A321 Unique Business Class Cabin from old BMI planes with just 23 club world fully flat bed seats.
Sadly British Airways is replacing these wonderful seats and will be turning them into the same seats that are offered in club Europe.

We had a fantastic flight with great cabin crew.

When I Travel The World they are, not like these but more like an evolution on the old ones (wider seats, more storage, direct aisle access). The closest comparison would be wider versions of those on JAL/ Oman
Another pleasant flight James, I like the throne seat and would have chosen the beef main as you did. Another superb video Greg. I want an Emirates First class amenity kit, lol.

Indeed, though the Jetblue seats are better.
The seat pitch and width are more than the standard club world! The width is even more than first.
It is a really good business class seat compared to the normal club world product.

Another wonderful TR James. Is this a buy on board route for economy passengers? Does business class passengers get more selection on the IFE? You see and don't hate me for this...but I thought BA IFE in economy was disappointing. For example I like to fall to sleep to music and normally I head to the essential albums where I'd expect to see lots and lots of essential albums...I found three albums with BA...one of them was Belle & Sebastian and I can't recall the other two. No airline can have essential albums list without Dark side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd on their list or Simon & Garfunkel, Fleetwood Mac, The Doors to name but a few. One thing I did like though was Paul Oakenfolds special BA 2 hour mix....Maybe I've just been spoilt by Emirates ICE IFE. I've just give away a few in-flight amenity kits to a fellow AV Geek who is from my neck of the woods...Jonathan Winton...He always seems to be in the right place at the right time when videoing take offs and landings. Anyway hope all is fell and im looking forward to your next TR.
Thanks boots. As this is Club World and a short route, people in economy still get some snacks for free, I was not sure on what it was, I heard it was a sandwich. I know the IFE was pretty good, but typically I only check out the movie / TV selection to see what is on offer, sometimes I listen to music but normally bring my own. But yes some essential albums need to be better. I have plenty more videos to post, just gotta keep making them. Thanks as always for watching and the comment.

Very nice, I d love to try this a321, but travelling to a visa free country is much easier. I saw the the B lounge was very quiet again
Yes the A321 is a really nice plane, much better than the A319,A320's they have.

thx for the Video. Starter looked extremely good! All in all a good Service. Only complaint: The crew could have served dessert seperately with a coffee/cognac/(even more) champagne.
This is how I would have acted. Well, me "the master of the arts..."(never mind just a joke...)

That is by far one of the best Business Class products in europe! :D In my opinion they are also a bit better than the long haul Business Class, right? That would be an interesting thought :D
I do think it's a better seat than regular club world seats from BA. Shame it won't be around much longer.
It will be around on the Moscow route indefinitely probably.

I have Amsterdam to Dubai on Emirates coming up in business class and Dubai to Singapore.

Why is this business class different to the normal one
Dear BA. Now tou are talking. Throne seats on the A 321? Why did you noy do the same seating config for the A380s and the 787s? Thanks James for another great vid. Food looks really delicious. Not what I would expect on a 3 hr flight in Club Europe. Ah!!! Sudden thought. These A321s were ex-BMI. The better seating config including "throne" seats and more space were inherited. So long as I am obliged to fly backwards if i want a window seat, I will NOT fly BA not withstanding their very good service and food. Other airlines have great service and food too eg. CX, EK etc.
Yep you are right, they are indeed the EX BMI aircraft, most of the newer A321's from BA have the standard club Europe seats and its awful compared to this product. I really hope that BA put some new business class seats in, they were amazing 17 years ago, but right now really lack behind the competition.

Yes it was a great flight.
I get Club Europe if you are flying to Paris or Frankfurt etc but this looks like a great mid haul product and arguably better than their 'backwards' business class seats in long haul...
It's a much better cabin for mid haul, a lot better than the backwards club world seats.

What determines whether you fly economy or luxury? I recall one video for example where you said you could have flown non-stop vs 2 flights but you received more miles by taking the connection. New to the traveling world, only fly quarterly in the NW US to Canada and CO. Thanks for all the great content and tips, sir.
Thank you! A travel agent told me my problem is I fly more than the average person (yearly vacation) but not enough to rack up miles/points. Ah, well.
One of the key things for me on if I fly economy or business etc is the price. I always try and find the best deals and count that up on value and comfort for me. I'm fine flying in any cabin, but business or first is always a real added bonus.

There is only one reason why they kept BMI's old seats on some routes. For example, on the Moscow route they only have one competitor, Aeroflot, and Aeroflot ALWAYS has proper business class seats on their plane. In general, the European Business Class Light model is extremely unpopular in Russia. Also, Aeroflot and BA charge heavy premiums on this essentially very short route.
