The primary purpose of this stream is to give you the opportunity to see how a Real 737 Captain operates a desktop simulated aircraft in real time using real world operating procedures.
Whilst every effort is made to accurately replicate the way the aircraft is flown based on my experience as a Training Captain and Type Rating Instructor, this is purely for entertainment only.
If you happen to be a line pilot or training pilot you must not follow the guidance in this livestream, it is purely for non-professional computer simulated flight. Only consult your approved material from your respective operator.

Yeah, engine sounds aren't too great are they. I much prefer FF's sounds. It seems more like a synthesized hairdryer.
since when do we sim for sounds. thought xplane simmers are all into flight physics. THIS IS A PRE RELEASE COPYz. please remember this
In FSX PMDG 777 is way better sound

It’s a pre release copy 1 day before launch. Sounds will not change overnight. So that point is invalid too.
By the way, I’m not on x-plane. I was just very impressed by Flight Factors 777 sounds.

You really need to get the MSK Mumbai. It's an amazing scenery
For the hydraulics on the Boeing 777 you have to set the right demand pumps first and then you wait for the fault light to go off and then you turn on all the hydraulics. If you turn the left hydraulic first it will messing up the hydraulic fluid.

Playing back a lot of content I can see how the pace of my speech can come across a little fast, especially to non-native English speakers.
All my streams and tutorials are for the more experienced flight sim user but I continue to strive to improve the content so will take this feedback on board :-)

nice video I have a question. I see that you are using yoke boeing edition. Do you sometimes have the same problem that I have had for a few days? everything spins in the cabin, I have to move the cloche left or right...but the problem is coming again.

You mean the taxi cam. Cause no, it isn't implemented. msfs limitations. I suggest checking out the pmdg forums and asking questions there.
I don’t think so. It has a camera light switch but I don’t think any of the cameras are actually operable in the sim.

I've got the FF 777v2 and it's very good so far - way better than the original v1 - I will be buying this tomorrow too.

On the 777 a speed in the Legs page is always "or below". That's why there' no XXXA/ or XXXB/ in the formatting. It will not let you enter a speed restriction without entering a altitude as well. All the "invalid entry" messages are correctly modelled in the PMDG777.
I saw this in the guidance, a lot of RW 777 pilots have commented on the nuances as well, my ex-colleagues say they prefer the NG VNAV haha, great addon 👌🏻
@@flightdeck2sim I'm an ex-colleague who just came to the sandpit :). Doing my LST on the 777 next week.
VNAV in the 777 it's almost like a mix between common and basic VNAV but it will not dive to catch the path like our airplanes used to (I'm sure you remember). FLCH is completely different to LVL CHG. It doesn't always go full idle or full blast like in the 737. But the 777's has so many more functions. The ENG OUT function actually flies the driftdown for you in VNAV. Give it a try. Check the ENG OUT page, set the ENG OUT level in the MCP and just execute (you may need to push ALT INTV if you execute an engine out during a climb and it goes into VNAV ALT, which is effectively VNAV's ALT HOLD). There are so many functions that I wish the 737 had.
I've been on the beta program for the PMDG777 since the begining. The little things that you may think are bugs based on what you know about the 737 are actually the areas where the 777 is different. The go around is completely different. I hope you enjoy it.
Pitch down on finals has been fixed. PMDG has confirmed.

It's a joke not ready for sale yet as they do this for all their release products.
Technically (systems) FF and PMDG are equal. PMDG has the advantage of having MSFS as a platform. And the PMDG is nice to fly in conjunction with their 737.

since you are using the INIbuilds OMDB, do you happen to know why when i load in i see both the MSFS and INIBUILDS Omdb loaded in and overlapping?
You need to remove the default Dubai scenery. Follow the guidance here!

I believe that in 737 procedures you normally do the Before landing checklist after gear down and flaps 30
How you enable Ground Operation button on PMDG tablet? or it is a separate plugin?
I’ve played xplane12 since it has come out, I use to play msfs and I’m considering switching back, the only thing stopping me is the physics, have the improved and how do you find them?
MSFS is more than acceptable, aircraft handle more realistically in XP12 but MSFS is far more complete package 👍🏻

Really wanted to catch this live but happy to catch up on the VOD! Not a long haul fan but this is a very cool aircraft.

Overall the plane isn’t bad but it’s not good. The main thing that sets others like the P3D 777 and the FF 777v2 apart is they’re made for actual simulators. X-Plane calculates the flight model much different than MSFS. Let me remind yall of the bug with the PMDG 737 that you would land and the reversers would be way too strong and you could take back off but going backwards. The flight model and physics in MSFS is that of a game it wasn’t made as a simulator it was made for anyone to be able to pick up and play. The PMDG 777 is more like a plane anyone can fly rather than some ultra realistic 777, so it really depends what experience you’re after.

An ACTUAL 777 pilot on another channel would beg to differ about your opinions on the PMDG 777 for MSFS 2020/24
They are entertainment products and no way to be used for real world training. So stop with the bullshit comments. You think these 100 dollar planes on a desktop sim were made for actual flight simulators than your was drowned with a bunch of idiots trying to belittle another product. This is not Level D by no standards it is for fun and learning not to train to be a real 777 pilot.
