I recently got the Boss Angry Driver JB-2 and it's superb, I set it to always on but switching between both. I use the Blues Driver side to for a nice crunchy rhythm tone then use my volume control to clean up my tone on the same setting and for leads I kick in the Charlie side and it kicks ass especially when I run an Ibanez TS808 mini as you demonstrated here. Love your content 💯
Where the lines get blurred would be with a Klon style pedal. They’re considered an overdrive, but they’re a hard clipping style circuit that has the clipping diodes very far out into the circuit. The main thing about a Klon style pedal is that it doesn’t actually start to clip the circuit until you turn the drive relatively high
Not only is your playing superb - whatever gear you use, you make everything sound great!
Cheers Gaz.

Thanks Paul. I always keep a TS-style pedal on my board, and a Boss GE-7. 😁👍
I recently discovered the wonderful tones a tube screamer into a blues driver provides.
Great video - thank you. What are your guitar volume and tone knob settings while making this video?
WTF is it already summer in the UK?! :) nice video Paul!
Good job Paul. See you tomorrow. Bye the way, if you can remember it, it’s Mike
Good video.
Why you don’t play the Les Paul more often? It sounds so great.
