I like watching an influencer closer to my own age. I like the younger influencers but they don’t have the same issues that a woman in her 50s does. You’re always entertaining and you look great.
I tried the Redken spray One United after watching this video and LOVE it. I have baby-fine hair which has hi/lo lights. I'm 63 and my hair can easily look straw-like, dry and shineless. I shampoo with color preserving shampoo, towel off excess water, spray the Redken and use my normal styling foam. My round brushes glide! Styling is a breeze, my hair holds the style even in Indiana humidity. It's not weighed down or greasy in any way, and it shines. No static, frizz or straw-like appearance. This spray is a winner.
I’ve been using the Clarins lip oil for several months and love it! It saddens me when over 50 shy away from colourful eye makeup, I don’t wear it every day but at 55 I wear what makes me happy!

I think when it comes to things like eyeshadow and blush and lipstick there’s a lot of universality there. What I mean is that a lot of eyeshadows lipsticks and blushes can be used successfully by cosmetic aficionados across generational lines. I think it’s really good not to get too hung up on one’s own age bracket or situation in life because you never know when someone younger or older it’s going to have something really substantial to offer.

I have the ABH bronzer in "Rosewood" and I love it! It's a little more red in tone and I find it so flattering. I'm also getting back into Moroccan Oil products. I forgot how much I love the scent and how nice they make my hair feel. I'm loving the body spray but wish it had more lasting power. I think I'll try the Mending Infusion next!

Risa, the Rich Amber bronzer from ABH would probably be a better shade for your skintone. I seem to always use the same shades as you in foundations and bronzers and that one is much better than Saddle for me. I do LOVE my Gucci bronzer so idk if anything will ever beat it! Lol!

I don’t plan on spending much time on the strip at all but I was wondering if there is a make up store there that you recommend. I have loads of Ulta’s and Sephora’s here where I live but I want to get some nicer make up while I’m there (Gucci, Dior, etc). Where is a good place to go for that? Also, I like the ashier brow on you when you wear darker colors like black. Also, the darker colors might be nice for the fall and winter months. I hate TikTok and Instagram, so I appreciate that you’re here.
I follow a lot of younger influencers too and I am 38! Sometimes I buy the products and sometimes I don't depending . IF we have the same skin type and the same taste in coverage and colors a lot of times it does work for me !
Risa, I’m a facial esthetic doctor and I honestly feel you need to put your blush a bit higher like you did on this video. It somehow harmonizes your facial trilogy. So if you divide your face into three parts. One must look and see what’s more dominant. People with big foreheads for example have a bigger top third. For you, I would bring in color into your mid face more to balance your face. Beautiful.

Risa, I’m a facial esthetic doctor and I honestly feel you need to put your blush a bit higher like you did on this video. It somehow harmonizes your facial trilogy. So if you divide your face into three parts. One must look and see what’s more dominant. People with big foreheads for example have a bigger top third. For you, I would bring in color into your mid face more to balance your face. Beautiful.
