    I’m sure the new Tigers are great with the new tft screen and all but I’m not in the market for a new bike. My Tiger is a month or two older than yours but I haven’t done half the miles you have!

      Bit of catching up to do then haha, I do.like the tft screen in the New but it's deffinatly not worth changing for I think. Plus I can't bear to sell this bike haha

    Interesting solution for the extra water & petrol! I considered extra water, too, but for various reasons was not happy with placing them on the side boxes. I never even thought of the top box! 🤦‍♀️
    Are these the Trax parts? Did you experience that the ground plate does not sit tight on the box and makes noises while riding? (I read that comments about that...)
    Thanks & Safe riding!

    You still got the tiger? I’ve had mine for 4 years and I love it and it’s been bulletproof!
    Mines the XC and I’m looking at getting the big 1200 rally pro explorer next year… if I do I hope it’s not a mistake.

      @@tigerben4857 just run in then! How far up did you get in Norway? I’ve done the artic circle in our old Land Rover discovery but would love to do the Nord Kapp on a bike… cracking scenery.

    Is that an iPhone you have mounted? What about all the hype lately about vibration damage? No problems?

    • @tigerben4857
      @tigerben4857  ปีที่แล้ว

      Back then, it was a Samsung. I've never had an issue with phone mounting on the bike. However, these days, with the more sensitive camera mechanisms I don't mount it to often, and when I do, I use a vibration dampener

    Just got an XRX : love it but like you not happy with the front end look.
    Where did you get the beak, how much was it & is it easy to fit?
    Thanks again for a very informative video 👍🏽

      @@tigerben4857 is that an official Triumph part ? I contacted them and was told there is no such part listed for an XRX so must be an after-market part.

      Yea official triumph part. It comes under high level front mudguard

    Watching with subtitles on and it describes your spoiler as a 'pubic wind deflector'...... Do you have much of a problem with pubic wind? :-)

    Nice video, what are your thoughts about the scottoiler?

    • @tigerben4857
      @tigerben4857  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Jason, I had an issue with that scottoiler in the end and removed. (It was 2nd hand) I since replaced it with their newest version the scottoiler x and its brilliant

    Wonder if it suitable for Off Road (not hard core) ?

    • @LazyJack2003
      @LazyJack2003 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I ride an 800 Xrx (2015) and do gravel and that kind of stuff. Nothing really too technical but every forest road I can find. I am 62 years old and in my case the limitation is certainly in the driver and not in the bike.
      And I do that with 90/10 tires. I am sure, it will get even better with 80/20 or 70/30 tires, - which I will try in the next season and do a bit more bumpy roads - if my knees can take it!
