First Solo Hike! Bamford Edge | Ladybower | Peak District | February 2024

Winter in the UK: Usually cold, wet, and windy. This walk was no exception but it was also wonderfully quiet and a brilliant way to start the day, standing on top of the hills with the wind in my hair.
It was also my first ever solo hike! And it wasn't as scary as I thought it might be (aka I didn't get terribly lost with my awful sense of direction). Now, where to next?
