    Im sure that you know now, but the Lose hill pronumciation throws quite a few people out. It does until you think about it with its partner... Win hill! Win and Lose hills are the locations of a battle a long time ago.

    I’ve done Winnats a couple of times and Lose Hill a few too, great to see other camper/hikers vids and recognising my ‘pitch locations’ 👍🏼
    11:58 your pit-stop on Lose Hill, that little side dip is my ⛺️ spot 😇

    Ace vid mate.. Mam Tor is a stunning location and the views are amazing, but bloody hell, its like Alton Towers up there on a nice day!! Crowds man, crowds!! Youre so frickin watchable though, your vids are refreshing, chilled, funny and informative. 👍💚

    I walked the ridge the very same day and have a feeling I walked past you... I remember someone with a beard and camera 🤣 Conditions were perfect. Warm, sunny and not a breath of wind, it doesn't get better.

    I bought a cloud up 2 at collins outdoors 5 months ago, the price is much cheaper than amazon, free tax. Used 6 times and everything is good. Naturehike gear has always been one of the good budget options, or 3f taiji 2 is also a very good choice

    • @GoodBlokeOutdoors
      @GoodBlokeOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes mate can’t go wrong with Naturehike products, fantastic value for money, I love using my Cloud Up 2 & Cloud Peak 2. I bought the Cloud Peak 2 from Collins , great website.
      Thanks for the comment mate 👍🏼

    Great camping spot and unreal breakfast location 👌 That chopper seemed really annoying. Was it about for ages? Looked like a great hike but you were cooked at the end 🤔 Committed to the end 💪

    Great scenery! Seemed like you had some great weather! And the tent seems very similar to the Lanshan. Glad it's working out for ya. What were some of your gear successes/failures on this one?

    • @GoodBlokeOutdoors
      @GoodBlokeOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the comment buddy.. no failures on this trip luckily, I did a full kit run down of the trip but it never made the cut on the video as it was getting a tad long for my liking but what i might do is just put it out as a separate mid week video.. the tent is exactly a Nightcat branded lanshan mate, do you have or have you had 1?

    • @DaveOffGrid
      @DaveOffGrid 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GoodBlokeOutdoors very cool!! Yeah I usually do a separate debrief vid for my trips if there's extra to talk about that couldn't make it into the trip vids. I have the Lanshan 1 and 2p Pro models and like them. Very durable and inexpensive. I've moved over to the Gossamer Gear The One to save weight but for crazier weather would go back to the Lanshan 👍

    Ive liked and subscribed. I enjoyed this because most of it, we have hiked many times. Where did you turn off to get to Bamford Edge though?

    • @GoodBlokeOutdoors
      @GoodBlokeOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If i remember rightly , i’d walked from Mam tor towards hope then on to Bamford then I Think i went up a road called The Clough, it was so steep. First time in that area so i’m just winging it 😅 ☺️

      @@GoodBlokeOutdoors cheers mate. Were .. I'm just 72 n hubby closed to 74 and we started hiking mountains n ridges last June. We also started camping again of all kinds. Basic and luxury. Were still to do a wild camp but its getting closer. We have the kit for them. We just couldnt find the way up. So we headed back to our camp in hope. It was Oct.
