The F1s are likely from a Canada-France miniseries "Formula 1" from the late 80s. The Benetton is from a different slide, as are the old Ferrari and Avanti Studebaker. This is a mess of a video.

Video is bunk...looks like a collection of grabbed images and clips. At 4:44 I know the owner of the "abandoned" race cars...photo is from 2004 when hurricane Charley blew the building down on those cars. Google "Hurricane Charley rips the roof off secret Florida Ferrari lair"

An article in one of my Trains magazines from years ago, there were three boxcars sitting on a industrial siding for many years until the line was abandoned. The boxcars were sold for scrap until they opened them to see what was inside. Four brand new Packards never delivered. The Packards were auctioned off and restored.

Here in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia we have a small stretch in the river that has 60-70s model cars, an old flat bed canvas top truck, and there's even a tractor trailer tanker in the river that were all placed there to help the flood waters to be diverted from the farmers land. Fun fact; all the cars were donated to the farmers and placed there by the only dealership in the county, they had all been totaled and left at the dealership.

My grandparents had a 1913 Detroit Electric car that they restored and showed all across the Southeast. Theirs made the one in this video look like a lemon. I have very fond memories of driving to church in it on Sunday mornings and traveling with them to car shows. As a fan of Formula 1 I’ve been in the pits of some big races and big names. Andretti and Danica Patrick to name two. I am willing to bet they are “real” cars but most likely the seasons back up or secondary car. They sometimes use them to allow fans a look at them and all that kind of stuff but if something happens with the main car they swap to the backup to finish a race. The reason I think they are backup and not just a car that finished the season is they will hang a secondary spoiler and the main spoiler from a metal bracket go get it up off the ground when in transport and these cars all have the front end mounted in the race position. But I could be wrong. I just don’t know why they would put Brembo and all the major sponsors stickers on cars that they have just to look like F1 cars.

Good heavens, how could they ever abandoned those great vintage Formula 1 cars? Since Detroit Electric cars are great, perhaps they need solar roof panels and modern reliable Tesla motors and batteries speeding the car up to 70 mph as an option.

An electric car with a 100mile range and 25 miles per hour? And this was when? We still haven't beaten the 100 miles per charge on these little town cars?
    Someone should be fired!

I prefer four-door vehicles especially when you're riding with a lot of people it's pretty annoying having a fold your seat down and have them squeeze in and out every time

It’s elementary to anyone involved with old cars that 2-doors are much more desirable than 4-doors.

In Dubai you can pick up super cars for almost nothing as the fines for speeding and the points on your license are so expensive that its better to abandon them to keep them. Or you have run out of money and you payments are more expensive than you can afford so you walk away.

It was only until the 1920s that the switch in popularity from electricity to gas?? 1900 in the United States, 38% of US automobiles, 33,842 cars, were powered by electricity (40% were powered by steam, and 22% by gasoline).
Most electric car makers stopped production at some point in the 1910s
By 1912, the gasoline car cost only $650, while an electric roadster sold for $1,750.

2 Dr cars have always been worth more then 4 Dr cars to collectors. Chrysler cars on top of that are not usually very desirable. That car will sit there and rot into the ground and when it is almost to far gone to restore the guy will pass away and the family will have to sell it for almost nothing. Seen it a million times.
