Inglis - Hi-Power Mk. I* - 9x19 Parabellum

Shooting my new (old) Canadian Inglis Hi-Power with and without a stock. This handgun was one of the many manufactured by Inglis for a contract by the Chinese Nationalists during WWII.

I really wish the law wasn't bone headed and I don't care if there are better options these days, I want a stocked pistol for HD and I want all manufacturers to offer one in their catalog.

I know this is an old video, and the likelihood of you seeing this is slim, but I find it interesting that you don't have a magazine disconnect in your pistol, I first thought that it was strange that what I'm guessing is an original Hi Power mag dropped free instead of being retained, and then later you cleared the mag and released the hammer, which should have not happened because of the disconnect. Just a little detail that I thought was interesting to point out.

Rolacoaster sight system like my Silesia High Power. I think shooter set it at 150 meters or lacking mech is not locking down. Shooters reloading technique is different

Fortunately my puppers are safe; the ATF excluded the Inglis Hi-Power from the purview of the NFA. The list of exemptions can be found on ATF's website and searching for the "Curio and Relic List" if one is curious
