If its anything like the Luger, the reason the barrel is falling out is because the hole closest to the chamber is the hopup adjustment, and the hole closest to the muzzle end had a set screw that holds the barrel in. I'd bet he accidentally unscrewed it a little in an attempt to find the hopup.
Rear sight is called a tangent rear sight. Its on that model browning because its design to use a wodden holster sholder stock aloowing for more accuracy and longer range shots. As to the front sight...they actually have a tiny pin that locks in in place. It pin not seated prober sight is loose. If pin falls out sight falls off. You can get replacement fron sight from WETech. But you need to make a pin to lock in place. Or better yet a tiny grub screw. ( front sight is ment for left right adjustment however wetech chose to use a pin rather then grub screw their idea was once you set sohht as needed you tap pin in locking front sight in place. If had grub screw you can adjust anytime needed.
Two questions: 1) can you actually grind the tangent sight and try to attach fixed ones without damaging the gun? 2) does it use proprietary mags or it accepts M9 or other more common pistol magazine? I know the real one doesn't but maybe they could have chosen that to avoid problems finding extra magazines
your barrel problem youll see a hole about in line where the barrel sits theres a grub screw in there that holds it in . I had mine for years and its finally hit the end ( needs some parts replaced ) wanting another
I think we could all agree it would be really cool if the company’s put there own logo on nicer looking guns like this one as if they are a firearm company
Your innerbarrel came loose because you loosend the grub screw ( you claimed to be the hopup) that held the barrel in place. If you lost that tiny screw you in a world of hurt trying to find a replacement.
So what year is this model based on because even as new as 1968 they had a pretty basic fixed iron sight, but this version looks more like a fully adjustable target shooter. I just ordered one to go with my ww2 kit but I didnt really study the image first.

Your Dead Wrong. Those 2 holes. One does absolutely nothing there is no grub scre the other ( the one you pointed at ) has a grub screw you use the allan key that comes with the high power to remover the Barrel from the housing so uou can replace it with the longer barrel that comes with the browning so when you use the faux silencer it hides the extended barrel which adds support for the faux silencer to prevent the outer barel from snapping off in fron of ejection port making the hi power impossable to fire.

The rear adjustable sight was on the original. It was often called the tangent sight. It was destined for German para units and came with a wood stock

Modify it? I don't know if you really want to go through the effort of grinding down the adjustable sight and replacing them though.
Vancouver Rifles The tangent sight is more realistic. In the Canadian military we use these and they all have tangent sights.

it's based on the original 1935 GP35 version. You will see it has the internal extractor, too.
