Mandalay Bay is a great looking resort. We have wandered down here a few times but not stayed. It all looked very comfortable.

Oh yeah, they don't want you leaving, you might spend money somewhere else LoL. The free entertainment is pretty rare on the strip and they bands were pretty good!

You can't beat Vegas for a bit of over indulgence. The hotels and food are certainly top notch. Some great live music to be had whilst enjoying a drink
Very true, we were so surprised the live music was free with plenty of space... pretty rare on the strip.

Love that you guys did a lot in Vegas. The last time we were in Vegas was 2 weeks before they closed the country down. Love it. LIKE 3. 👍👍👍
There's always something new here in Vegas, but it was so weird seeing it shut down in 2020. Most of the doors to the resorts don't lock, why would they, we're always open. So they had to boarded up 😞😞 Glad we're passed that.

Mandalay Bay is such a lovely hotel. love your room except that nothing is complimentary, even Coffee, and too bad, you can't use the fridge unless you're willing to pay a hefty price. looks like those Restaurants are really good, and there's plenty to choose from, they even have a food court. Glad that the food your ordered at Fleur did not disappoint you guys. looks like you both have a lot of fun. we enjoyed watching, from your new subscriber
Unfortunately that's just the way it is in Vegas, fewer things are complimentary and it's just getting worse 😟😟 Mandalay Bay is still one of our favorites and we've been back a few times since this visit.
We've been to Vegas a few times and absolutely love it! It's not somewhere we'd go every year but it's definitely fun every few years. We've stayed on the north strip and central, but it looks like we should give Mandalay Bay a try as well. Of the best parts of Vegas is the FOOD!! The food was good and we found some places we want to go back for, we didn't learn about the brunch at Boarder Grill until we left. The bed was comfy and it's nice to have entertainment at night without an added cost. We enjoyed Mandalay Bay for sure. Thanks for taking the tour with us!

Thanks for checking out the resort with us! The MJ show was still fun, just a personal preference with the hologram. If you're a fan of the music you'll like the show and the memorabilia/costumes were cool to see, so iconic. Very cool like the costumes at the Goth festival you guys went to!

Mandalay Bay is worth a stay. 😊 I also like the Delano..all suites.
It's become one of our favorites 😁😁. Delano is on the list, hopefully we'll get to check it out while the pools are open.

Looks like a nice room, but i'd find it a bit frustrating not to be able to use the fridge. The noodle shop looks tasty :) I love the look of the house of blues, nice bit of live music as you eat :) Food looks so tasty!
Thanks for taking the tour with us Kate. The fridge situation in Vegas is just bad, most resorts you have to ask for them and there could be a daily charge. Given we have to pay a $35+ 'resort fee', a fridge should be in every room.

Mandalay Bay is definitely one of our favorite places. If you get a chance there’s a pizza place attached to Mandalay Bay called slice of Vegas absolutely fantastic we did a couple videos there over the last few years. They have completely plant based options too which made it really really cool…..
At some point we'll do a pizza tour of Las Vegas and try to rate the best slices. Slice of Vegas is pretty good. We'll have to check out some of those older videos and see if we missed out on anything!
Excellent and detailed tour. Any tips of where to get drinking water from? DOn't want to pay so much for bottle water in the resort.
That is one of the few downsides to Mandalay Bay, it's location. The closest gas station is an AM PM on the other side of Las Vegas Blvd across from the Luxor, maybe a 20 min walk from inside the hotel. The closest Walgreens/CVS is passed Park MGM, about a 30 minute walk.
@@HereToCheers doesn't resort provide free water? Not even a water dispenser?
Oh yes there are water fountains, public water is ok, it's not the greatest in Vegas. But the resorts here don't usually provide free bottled water. If you're friendly with a bartender, they might pass you some bottles of water or they will give you a glass of water if you ask. When we travel we prefer to have bottled water with drink mixes like crystal light and snacks like protein bars to save some money for restaurants we really want to try.

I would skip Noodle Shop and go to the much better La La Noodle in Park MGM.

@@HereToCheers Yeah Eataly in Park MGM is nice but the one in L.A. is way bigger and better, if you ever visit here be sure to check it out. The Vegas one is mostly a food court and little else.
