Thanks so much for the shout-out, Robert and Gina. We love you both and plan to keep up our travels for the foreseeable future! My mother usually joins us and she's in her 90's. What a fun event and great job, Robert! Kathy and I used to do some 5k runs and mini triathlons many years ago. But, never in such a cool area! We actually met in a health club from where we joined others from there in going to them. As the years passed by we continued to mostly walk or bike. We continued the 5k walks for charity up until a few years ago. Then unfortunately, it became more of pulling Kathy along and she wasn't enjoying them anymore. We would win some small prizes for finishing near the top of our age group. That means near the back of the pack! 🤣🤣 Good shoes are a must! We continue to wear good walking shoes to this day in everything we do. We don't have to dress up for work anymore so they fit right into our lifestyle. Yes, as you age traveling does become a little more difficult as you mention here. (currently on the road and the constant unpacking and repacking the car every day gets old) Being in decent physical shape does keep it going a little longer. Your best half marathon yet and you did very well! 😁😁Of course, the second one will be better! Thanks so much for bring us along with you. Love both you and Gina, Robert!

Well how cool was that?!? That looks like a race that would be a surprisingly good one to start with since there are SO MANY distractions!!! I could have never imagined a marathon/half marathon course like that. How inspiring was that though... here's to taking a huge step towards health and fitness. Never done a run with this big of a party. Lots of people and looks like fast walking would work too. Doing it with all the LV strip lights is cool. Fun to see you succeed on a half marathon. Congratulations. Cheers👍

A half marathon is a long way but the entertainment along the route sure helps and the post run party (wouldn’t be better than In vagas)

It's a lot of fun if you can make it. I'm definitely been bit by the running bug and hope to do more next year, 2024 is pretty booked already! Being in Miami in January sounds like a lovely time!
I've always wanted to run a half marathon but I feel like my legs would fail me lol.. it was good to see you enjoy the festivities there! So fun especially at night! We did a biking session though when we went to Vegas last year, they closed a lot of streets and that was a lot of pedaling lol.. this does look fun though, especially when you have lots of motivators around you!

congrats on your pr half marathon! dave spoke so highly of you on their last traveling tramps episode, i had to come by. i've never been a runner (unless chased 😉 or playing sports), but i love to walk for miles. for a long run, this looked like a fun one. congrats again on all of your hard work! 🛴❤

Definitely if you're going to get into running a Rock n roll Marathon is a great first one even the 5k, so much fun.
