- Hey there! In this video, we're excited to share our recent western Mediterranean cruise adventure on the NCL Epic. While we've already covered our experiences on the ship in a previous video, today we're diving into our off-ship adventures. Our journey took us to some incredible destinations and delicious food including amazing gluten free options. Starting with the charming French Riviera town of Cannes, followed by an overnight stay in Livorno, Italy, where we explored the historic cities of Pisa and Florence. Next, we docked in Civitavecchia, providing us with access to the mesmerizing city of Rome, where we encountered both its historical treasures and some unexpected challenges. In Naples, the birthplace of pizza, we embarked on a culinary adventure, making our own delicious pizzas while also taking in the city's unique charm. Palma de Mallorca welcomed us with its vibrant atmosphere and picturesque scenery, offering a refreshing day of exploration but got cut short with a medic emergency. And, of course, we enjoyed the stunning sights and sounds of Ibiza beautiful beaches. Join us as we recount our unforgettable experiences, from exploring historic landmarks to savoring local cuisine, and even navigating unexpected hurdles along the way. We really enjoyed your Italy series Simon, it was good preparation for our own trip! If there aren't ups and down then you're not really travelling right? It was a great trip over all, a nice little taste of Italy for sure and we'll be back.

That has to be one of the most magical parts of the cruise! The fact that you get to drop off at some incredible spots around the world really must make it all worth it!
We'd love to explore by land like you do around the South Pacific and get more into the culture. It was a good introduction to Italy, but we definitely want to explore it more by land.

Oh my goodness! What a dream to visit all of these amazing cities! And a cruise is the perfect way to see them all. I would LOVE to see the colliseum someday, stunning! Wow the tower of Pisa too! That carbonera looks mouthwatering, and the focaccia sandwich 😮 oh my! My stomach is growling! The streets of Rome look stunning, I love the architecture, so cool. I love the combination as you said of ancient and old buildings and then modern. The gelato 😮 yum! The pastries you got at the cafe look good! So cool how Naples as celebrating their big win! Looks like you had a great experience in Europe :) I loved Florence its a beautiful city :) Good tip with booking things through the boat and getting priority getting off the boat. some nice views when you ate. Same about the construction. I never visited Cannes but went to Nice :) a unique experience going on the cruise to explore some of the cities of Europe x

You had so many ports of call on your itinerary. You saw so many wonderful places and ate lots of delicious food. I'm sorry to hear you got caught by a scam and such a stressful time. I'm surprised the station allows these people to be there. Rome certainly sounds like a tricky port time wise.
