Great comment, sir. I have lived with this song for so long and didn’t realise it was Livvy’s voice. And you have a point. Another thing for me to enjoy in this song due to awareness.

I grew up on these songs! Only now that I’m older I’m actually aware of what’s going on!
James must have either done stuff or has close friends family who’ve done stuff!
A few of his songs talk about addiction, wild behaviour etc!
Look at the lady in this clip! Starts out all normal and gets worse as the song goes on from normal to stoned to pitiful!
He knows something about the topic I’m sure of it!!
"I liked it and I understood it and I'm an American."-🤔.🌐🎧🎸🎹🌐.
Roger Temple ,, it’s about heroin addiction . Classic. I still gets shivers

JAMES CAME OUT WITH AWESOME SOLO PERFORMANCES BUT MY FAV WAS SHUTDOWN FROM 1982 FROM SONS OF BEACHES LP.
🇬🇸
You know, I always picture myself singing this classic on "Saturday Night Live", singing and playing acoustic guitar, joined by Benmont Tench on keyboards, Jim Keltner on drums, Jeff Trott on electric guitar and backing vocals, and, on bass and backing vocals- Sheryl Crow!!!
Backing vocals unreal!
that's because they are sung by one of the best ever Olivia Newton-John
One listening to this song is not enough,
Eppee !!
love it when olivia joins in,gotta love the mullet, great song
