A true "Gran Routier" car!!, its a gentlemans car!!, road handling is very similar to the Jaguar MKll 3.8!!,they both have strait six engines, and run 200km/h both strictly stock!!, no tuned racing engine!!! Thanks for sharing this video!! Greetings from Argentina!!
This car looks a lot like the car a friend of mine brought back from Germany around 1978. I think he moved to South Carolina but not 100% sure. We were both in the Air Force and he brought back both the red 2600 and a Fiat Dino coupe. I rode in his 2600 a couple of times in Germany and I remember he purchased the car from a seller in Idar-Oberstein. I loved the big six cylinder engine with, I think, the three Solex side draft carbs. Quite an interesting setup to look at. I remember getting in and being surprised how tall the floor was. I'm 6'6" and thought my legs would have more room. LOL.
The 2600 Sprint is a super car but this one isn’t a 1966 model as it has all the features of an early car. Sadly the front seats aren’t original either. Even then a lovely car and looks great in red!
Agree, absolutely lovely. Good that you point out some things that are not correct. However, I don’t mind too much. It’s interesting with the different approach of boat and car owners. Boat owners are constantly trying to upgrade and improve where classic car owners are obsessed to make the car look like when it left the factory. But these Alfas are stunning. I have a Volvo P1800S since 20 years and wouldn’t mind upgrading to a 2600. Any idea of the price range?
@@henriklarsson7835 it really depends on the car and on the owner, actually. I myself wouldn't mind giving a 2600 a few upgrades...but I get why some people wouldn't want to.
@@LuisEPGomes I bought a P1800S some 20 years ago. It wasn’t in good shape and the owners had added all sorts of mysterious “improvements”. I couldn’t afford a mint conditioned car so I said to myself let’s start here. I loved the car. I joined the owners club but they were so negative, always pointing out what wasn’t right. They took away all the joy so I left. Whenever something breaks I replace it w an original part. So now the car starts to look decent after some 20 years. Car ownership should be about the joy enjoying the car, not about being perfect.
Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in EU :-( In Germany the Green party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one gasstation per city. :-(
Absolutely glorious. The engine noise!!!
Un'opera d'arte italiana ! 👍🇮🇹🤓
Si certo ❤
No words, just drive, feel and enjoy the car. I love it! 👏🏻👍🏻

Ho imparato a guidare con quest'auto, su strade private perché ero piccolo. Mio padre ne comprò una nera nel 1962... su mia insistenza!
