This is BY FAR THE BEST phone protector made. My phone drops often. Once it smacked into a wall...and my screen stayed intact. I refuse to use anything else.
I'm amazed it isn't more widely known. Yeah the texture isn't as silky smooth but neither is your screen when it cracks with a gimmicky 9h glass protector!
I just installed this armorsuit one on my phone. It is so sketchy to think this film can protect the screen but it did for me. I dropped my phone down some concrete stairs at my school and it bounced, rolled flipped down like 3 stories of steps !!! ... Of course it landed on the screen 😑 ... HOWEVER this protector did a great job !!! At first it had like white scratch things on the corner bottom part, but after a wipe down of the screen, in about 3hrs it disappeared. The screen protector went back to looking brand new and of course my actual glass at the bottom had no cracks. I was also rocking the slimmest looking case possible to show off my phone's slender looks (samsung). Yeah suprised at this thing !!! I would choose this screen protector over glass as well.
Screen protectors don't "protect" against drops, if you're screen is gonna break then it's gonna break but what the screen DOES do is mitigate shattering and jutting pieces of glass when your device takes a direct hit. It doesn't absorb kinetic energy and is not shock proof so your screens aren't gonna avoid a break just because of a screen protector. Screen protector are only ever for scratches. Never for drops.
I have purchased these on several types of phones that I have purchased. Love the fact they protect my phone and don’t need to worry about cracking my screen. I drop my phone a lot cause of my carpal tunnel, ughh.
I've used them in the past..I dropped my phone directly on the screen,no case..I thought it was a kill shot, but to my surprise there was t even a scratch on the screen..the fall was from about 4-4 1/2 ' str8 to concrete!. I highly highly recommend these
Thanks for the refresher. I've been using these for all of ours devices for years. On the rare occasions that it's not available at purchase time, I just leave a screen unprotected until it is available.
Great video, super helpful. Got mine on with zero issues. I will tell you this tho, I found that using my thumb to smooth out the curved edges worked really great. I was able to get the screen protector flush to the curves pretty quickly just by using my thumb. Still, I gotta say that this video was super helpful and got me started. Thanks a bunch and big thumbs up!
This is the only type of screen protector I prefer. As you mentioned, I had ZAGG glass and was replacing it at the cost of this protector! Used it on Note 9 and now first time with this company on Note 10+. Had nanotechnology self-healing protector on it for 4 years.
Thank you! Great tutorial. I put my new screen protector on last night and it went very well!!! I DO have some bubbles at the top... Hoping they will go away in the next couple days. I've had this brand before and liked it. I just got the S22 ultra and am loving it. I loved my S20 Ultra too!
I have used Armour Suit screen protectors since the S8 came out and I now have one on my S10+. These screen protectors are the best because they last. I just had to replace my protector after 2 years because the edges got lifted when I was mowing my lawn and dust got in and it wouldn't stick anymore. I highly recommend this product to everyone I know. I even have one on my fitbit.
Hey Jeff, I just watched your video as a reminder on how to properly install the ArmorSuit. You did a great job. You asked if I had used ArmorSuit before. The answer is yes, on several different phones over several years. I'd guess I probably started using ArmorSuit aroound 2010, and on at least 6 different phones. My last phone I had for probably 4 years. The only issue I had over all that time was somehow the armorsuit had gotten peeled up a bit, and dirt and dust got on the bottom side. I reached out to the good folks at ArmorSuit and as you stated, the replaced it free, no shipping fees either. I have recommended ArmorSuit to all my friends and family members. I will say, if they don't listen to my suggestion, well it's their own problem. lol I will say, with my new phone Samsung S21 Ultra, it would have been nice had ArmorSuit included the instructions for how to install the camera lenses and carbon fiber protector. I have asked ArmorSuit to email me the instructions. Thanks again for such an awesomely done video.
I just purchased the Case Friendly Armorsuit Screen Protector for my Samsung Galaxy A53 5G. I watched Armorsuit's TH-cam tutorial and just for the record, this video isn't doing all the steps and "might" be the reason for more random air bubbles. You are supposed to spray the front of the screen protector (film) before peeling it away from the plastic transparent sheet. Then you spray the back of the screen protector that will be the sticky film-side that goes on the phone. They say it will be wet enough to allow the sheet to slide around your screen so you can properly position. Then you spray the screen protector once you have applied it to your phone screen and proceed with squeegeeing. Wait 10-15 minutes BEFORE you use the microfiber cloth a final time to remove fingerprints. Armorsuit also recommends you remove the phone case and apply the screen protector at bedtime so that it can properly dry and not to put phone case back on for about 8 hours. They have several warnings on video and package inserts that you don't want to spray the installation solution on the device but on the screen protector. And it's normal to have minimal air bubbles that should disappear within 12-24 hours as the film sets. I have applied my screen protector and am going to let it sit for about 12-15 hours before I put the phone case back on. Best of luck to anyone who wants to try the Armorsuit Militaryshield! I did turn my phone back on to see if the touchscreen would work and I was still able to use it and the fingerprint sensor and the tiny bubbles in the corner don't even show up because of my wallpaper design. Now the waiting game to put the phone case back on!
Hello Jeff. I've used this brand's covers on my Galaxy 7+ and 9+ phones in the past, now adding it to an A42 5G phone. I find the Armorsuit protectors are of a higher quality than other plastic-shield brands that I've purchased over the years. I'm not a fan of the glass screen protectors; sometimes they don't transmit the touch action to the phone. Yes, they do a better job of protecting the screen but if your touchscreen isn't functioning at 100%, that's a dealbreaker. I personally recommend this brand (no, I'm not getting compensation of any kind for my comment. I'm just a retail customer.)
Great video. I prefer glass over this. The options are limited for the Google Pixel 6 Pro. The fingerprint sensor doesn't work with glass. Using your instructions I have a flawless bubble free screen protector.
I have gone through a few- good product but my problem is that no matter how much I clean I always end up with specs of dust that creates bubble pockets. Another thing-if you put your cell in your back pocket or anywhere without paying attention the actual film can come off. Once it peels off that's it. No good- you have to get a new one. It does protect the screen. I have dropped my cell several times but still intact with this protector.
Having installed countless screen protectors, the first thing to do is to clean your work surface, clean the phone, then wash your hands with dish soap and make sure to knock off any loose particles on you. Shirt, arms, etc... Then you go back to the work and wipe everything with a microfiber towel. Make sure there's no air blowing like ceiling fans, etc... Now you're ready to install a screen protector without getting so much as a speck of dust under it.
Armorsuit makes the best screen protectors that are cost effective and tough as he'll the wet install works best I use a blow dryer after I squeeze it to bond it a Lil bit especially on the s22 ultra that has a curved screen I would buy this and recommend it to anyone plus a life time warranty.
These plastic screens seem better, than the glass ones that crack as you mentioned, and cut your fingers when you don't replace them immediately. These plastic ones are more durable.
Great video. Great channel. Just bought this screen protector for my note 10 plus. I read the directions but i am a visual person and i am horrible at putting on screen protectors so I decided to look up a video. Your video was the first one. Glad I clicked on it. Thanks for the video, more helpful than the one by armorsuit. I've also been using the tempered glass for my S20 but could never get all sides to fully adhere and just noticed some dust under one corner. Just got a military shield and planning to apply it this weekend.
I just watched as a reminder too! I bought this about 2yrs ago and got 2 screens. I am now needing to install the 2nd on on the same phone. Yes! The 1st sceen lasted almost 2 years. And yes i have the same phone. Love this brand. Thanks for the video!

Then I went and bought the s20+ and I knew I needed something so I bought the one you demonstrated here. Hi Jeff! I'm just putting my 2 cents in ... I bought this screen protector recently for my Samsung S22 Ultra and couldn't get them to apply properly ... I tried both of them and finally gave up and threw them out! I followed their instructions to a tee and made 3 attempts with each one and the air bubbles were massive and couldn't get them out no matter what I did! Anyway ... Good video. My note 10 + came with a film screen protector already on it . Over the 2 years I've had it , I had a few scratches on it and even a tiny hole. I was certain the screen would be scratched some when I finally took it off but not a scratch on it. Needless to say I was impressed so I figured I'd look for a similar replacement to what it came with. Found Armorsuit in a quick amazon search then searched youtube for a review of it . This was the first video up and so glad I watched it. I've got a new screen protector on the way and you my man have a new sub. Thanx!
I bought one for my galaxy s9 and it was odd at first but I love it I've dropped my phone and no issues I also like the Gel feel on the screen...I used a different brand but looking for a new one for my new Galaxy s21 so im going to try this one
Hey Jeff! I’ve had a couple of different glass screen protectors, but not a plastic one. The glass ones have a free replacement warranty, so I’ll just stick with them. I let a cracked glass protector live a lot longer than I should have because the crack in it wasn’t that noticeable. I would guess that a plastic one would probably get scratched easier than the glass would crack. Good review!
I like the glass ones too, that being said this new phone has a finger print reader on the screen and most screen protectors don't work with it...this one does. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

This is by far one of the most frustrating things I've ever done. Appreciate the video but the screen protector is absolute trash. Pretty much just that cheap plastic that comes on your phone when you buy it.

I just bought this for my note 20. Does the fingerprint sensor work still? Having a hard time finding a good product that still works!
Yes, sensor still works. You may have to reprogram after installing the screen protector.
@@Jeffreviews4u Great! Hopefully this one will work out then! Didn't think it would be this hard to find one that'll work!
@@heatherbelk4089 I tried quite a few but the finger print sensor didn't work. I was glad this one did.
Awesome! I'm hopeful now! Thank you!
I have read to use hair dryer on bevels
That's right. Hair dryers work well on the beveled glass. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
How was your sentivity with this screen protector?
Finger print reader still worked without issue. I've heard some had to reprogram fingerprints after install.
I had someone from Best Buy's Geek Squad to put it on and he did with no issuses..After having it on for several days, screen still looks has a hazy kinda glittery. Exactly how it was after he put it on. Anyone else have that problem?
The glaze shouldn't last very long. Keep us posted. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
@@Jeffreviews4u I ended up throwing it away. Even tried rinsing and reapplying it like the directions said. I ordered a different screen protector from ebay. Don't remember the brand, but they're cheap and work well. Ordered 2 of those and should get em by end of this week or next week
How does it come off? Is it easy? Just curious.
Yes, it's pretty easy to peel off. You just pull it up by the corner.
Can you use your thumbprint with this screen protector?
Yes - thumbprint still works with this protector. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Can i easily remove this just incase i want to change ?
Yes, it peels off easily. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Did this interfere with the fingerprint sensor?
No it did not. I've heard that some had to reprogram their sensor. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Is this screen protector stylus pen friendly?
Yes, the stylus still functions as normal. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
@@Jeffreviews4u thanks brother...I subbed so I'll be watching more of your videos.aint nothing like a TH-camr that actually replies to his comments 🤘🏼
@@EyeSeeDeadPeople44 happy to help; I appreciate the support!
I drop my phone constantly over 2 years...till finally it cracked, with armour suit.
Whitestone dome glass > any other protector!
Thanks for the tip! I tried one out and it is pretty sweet. th-cam.com/video/NjmVeOCG3bk/w-d-xo.html
Is this waterproof?
No, it does not waterproof the phone. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Can I put on flip phone
These things are now made like junk! I used to use them and just ordered one again. They come in matte finish, you can't even see through it clearly!
I don't like the matte finish either. I opt for the high definition version. Much clearer. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
@@Jeffreviews4u thanks, Jeff. Where can I get one that's high def? I'm staring at this piece of crap right now ready to light a match to it. Ordered it off Amazon. I held it up and looked through it and everything on the other side is blurry. Mine also came with marks on the back and was all murky.
@@alouise3557 what kind of phone do you have?
@@Jeffreviews4u Note 10. I'm looking on Amazon now.

This is the HD version for the Note 10. Hope this helps!
I’ve used it it’s a pain to install
Lol. It takes some getting used to, thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
It sucks it peels off 😕
This is by far one of the most frustrating things I've ever done. Appreciate the video but the screen protector is absolute trash. Pretty much just that cheap plastic that comes on your phone when you buy it.
What I like about the Armorsuit is it sort of self heals. If you scratch it the scratch will heal it self. Other than that it is just a plastic cover...
I hate the curved screen.
They are really frustrating when it comes to screen protectors...otherwise I think they are pretty cool. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Lol. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Horrible
I like the screen protector...beats damaging the phone screen itself.
Thanks Jeff.
You're welcome!
