This thing has so much character! I love it! Imagine all the arguments that will happen with the tattle-tale center gage.

My kids keep me informed of my speed all the time. Especially when it starts alerting them that I'm exceeding the speed limit.

The end of this video was priceless.
I was really becoming annoyed with Jill for not demonstrating the toot button. Then she made up for it with that classic Chicago driver etiquette. 🤣

It’s a lot of fun - unstoppable but still comfortable. More input on steering as you note (it’s 3.82 revolutions lock to lock). The 6 B58 also detuned to 282hp. I don’t know about the Frankenstein accusation - people say that (Gestamp, Tremec, BMW, Brembo, Eibach, Bilstein, etc), but that’s because they don’t know who sources parts for their own vehicles (have you seen how many manufacturers use ZF transmissions?). Ineos went the other way - as a new entrant, it’s in their interest to advertise that they use only the best components. So they were just honest and open about it. Hell, most of us would be sourcing aftermarket mods with those same manufacturers - but this all comes stock! I’ve made precisely one modification in the last 4 months - a $280 Fox steering stabilizer from Agile. I MIGHT do the 2” Eibach lift and go one size up on tires. But it’s pretty great right out of the factory.

I've had my Grenadier since February. Check engine light came on yesterday for a fuel level sensor. But other than the door seal issue its been great. Wish I could turn off most of the bings and bongs from the seats, lane departure, speed limit sensor. The diff locks take some time to activate and deactivate.

That toot with a bike on it is a nod to clarkson. 2 Horns are common in europe.

You might find that seat belt less of a problem if you put the back of your seat up rather than leaning it back like a recliner in a house. You will also find that the steering is different to other SUV's/Utes as it is a live/solid front axle so you can't use the normal rack & pinion steering. This is recirculating ball steering as used in trucks. US only gets the petrol engine however I think the diesel we get is significantly better suited to the Grenadier.

If only they would have made a deal, to use the GM 3 litre diesel in North America .

One clever thing I noticed: at the 11:43 mark, you can see the ODO "roll" forward to the next mile like an old analog ODO. That is attention to detail!

I bought one this year and after filling the gas tank for for the second time i suddenly had an error in the odometer.it shows a number that is not correct... talked to my dealer about this matter he said : we emailed hq and so far they have no solution for this. What a bummer, purchasing a car well over 70k usd and having no solution for a minor problem. This sucks

Almost bought one, but I found it too uncomfortable on long distances. I need more leg space, the foot space is bad for the driver.
