Disturbed's "usual" style may not be one's cup of tea so to speak, but if you give them a chance and dig deep into a lot of their songs lyrics, it surely brings the "feels".....very inspiring and great messages.

The Light really helped me push forward in some of the darkest times of my life, I will always be thankful to Disturbed. If you told teenager me back in the 00s that the heavy metal band Disturbed would be so influential in my life even now in my 30s, I wouldn't have believed you.

I just discovered them a couple of weeks ago and now I'm going to see them live April 27th!
Literally everything by disturbed has always kept me as a fan. Such they can be up there with a metal band, hard rock. But they are soooo diverse. Draiman and the group can easily activate the lizard brain with the heavy stuff, put you in the feels and make you think and then just as easily give you heavy grooves that make you just lose it.
David’s voice is unbeatable and amazing and SO IS HIS WRITING!! Great song, great reaction. Thanks!

If you are taking the DIsturbed journey A reason to fight is a must. The official music video is amazing and it shows part of the story and is emotional and positive and powerful. But if you want to see what Disturbed is really about you have, YOU HAVE to react to A reason to fight the official live video. That will show you what Disturbed is really about and I was lucky to experience exactly what is shown there live in 2019 when they came to my country for the first time. I am a huge Disturbed fan, since this band is the reason why I am alive today. I have been struggling many years ago with suicidal thoughts and I go so close to do it, but their music saved me and gave me strenght to fight my own darkness and to battle my inner demons.
I would strongly suggest songs like: Save our last goodbye, Who thought you how to hate, Legion of monsters, Tyrant, Never wrong, since i noticed you love music with a strong message.

Girl, I feel you. Especially at this time of year, feelings are tough and sometimes it's easier to feel nothing. But then it's hard to pull the feelings out after shoving them back so you can have a break. (I've got a good therapist ... I highly recommend if you're struggling!) Anyway, like you, Disturbed's music makes me feel... something. I think you'd like their cover of Sting's song, "If I Ever Lose My Faith In You," with the official video. Another song along the same style is, "A Reason To Fight." I love both the official video and ... well, the official video. Lol. One is "live" meaning there are clips from their concerts behind the studio version and the other is a produced "story" video. I highly recommend you watch both, they're both powerful and positive in different ways. (But I personally like the story video to start.) Any way you look at it, as always, their lyrics are meaningful.
If you want to feel in a completely different way and don't mind delving into their MUCH harder style, "Inside The Fire," will knock you off your chair. Do a little research for that one, though. It may not be the right time for that song, or maybe not ever, depending on you. Trigger warning, it's super graphic and the subject is suicide. David was inspired to write about his experience with a high school girlfriend who committed suicide, his guilt, his feelings that maybe he should follow her, the angel on one shoulder, the devil in the other, pulling for his soul ... like I said, it's very graphic and the music is hard. But if you want to feel something, this one will kick your ass.

Thank you! I have flown attack helicopters in combat and civilian medevac helicopters…quite the opposite in emotions…sometimes not so easy but, I adapted and overcame just like I was trained!

I loved the video! Disturbed is an amazing band. I will suggest a video/song. Its called The Vengeful One. Use the original music video version if you do decide to try it. It is heavy but it is the warning of the media taking control.

Indestructible is anther great one. Maybe check out their other 2 covers as well They covered a song from Sting and also Genesis both were phenomenal but I should also tell you the videos to those two covers are pretty amazing as well.
