ALSO SOMEONE PLZ TELL THEM THEY DON'T HAVE REVIVAL FLUID! The show even addressed that THIS season and yet they have forgotten. It won't ruin anything but man it will be frustrating for them to keep bringing it up like they have it
Chrome is probably 2nd smartest person in Kingdom of Science. Only reason characters like Ukyu bring more value, is because they have modern knowledge and larger scope for scientific advancments. Chrome has intuition, inteligence and curiosity to understand and know things, but he have no points of reference to know what anything means and how to use it. It's like being a fast reader and trying to comprehand a book in a different language, without ability to learn that language. Senku even stated that even if he was gone, people like Chrome would eventually bring science back.
The answer to the minecart issue is probably ropes, or ropes and pulleys. Pulling the empty back along the tracks (or empty cart with a day's supplies) wouldn't be hard even for a non-Gorilla Team person particularly if there's a set of pulleys, and a crank. Alternatively have two carts: Attach a rope around a pulley to both of them so a full cart descending pulls the empty one back up. Just needs a bypass section of track at the midpoint. Also, that fish-finder side-effect of the sonar is tremendous! A handful of people went out in one boat for maybe a couple hours and caught what was probably the equivalent of a week's worth of good-season fishing when done by a significant percentage of the adult population in little boats. That is definitely a civilization changer. It stabilizes the food supply, allows for preservation and storage of excess food, frees up a lot of villagers to work on other things.
Old TVs used to show dots from left to right when it came to images which is why you see grainy lines at times. I honestly love how quickly they advanced like that. Though what I like the most was Chrome's innovation with his makeshift metal detector. Just amazing. I'm glad you both have met the why man now. So buckle up cause it's gonna be a really wild ride from here on out.
Um minecarts were always just something you push...So it doesn't matter if it is uphill or not (though obviously the ground is usually made as flat as possible, which they certainly did not follow that logic), Nevertheless it would still work, just be annoying for the people pushing the cart. The main "problem" is them being shown riding it but that is very dr, stone and they could just be taking it for a ride (in rather cartoonish way sure)
The kingdom of science could be eating crab and lobster every day since in the 3,700 years they've had more than enough time to repopulate to pre-human fishing levels

Chrome has always doing things on his own side, even before Senku. Now always coming in clutch when the others get stuck on something

8:34 You couldn't be more right. When Chrome has an idea, is a really good idea.
Dr Stone is such a fun show
