Years ago I owned the E70 X5M! I totally understand your pain! Always felt like when I got quoted a price for service, it sounded like a zip code! The experience left me never wanting an M vehicle again! 🤣

Are you sure the Increased oil consumption aren’t from valve stem seals?

@@lightskinaquariums1291 I’m not sure I’d call it increased oil consumption. It requires a top off once between oil changes and has been consistent since I’ve owned the car. This is my second M-series vehicle and the other one was the same way.

@@ModestlyMinted oh ok my previous e70 x5m had the bad valve stem seals and had to top off oil every two weeks, bmw wanted 12k to do the job traded it in for a m2.

@@witnessriders I’ve noticed a trend with BMW M models. They are incredible when they work, and an absolute nightmare when they don’t.
