Not an uncommon problem with the packtalk. I use them for my motorcycle training business in New Zealand and have several with the same issue. After seeing your video I approached a local electronics repair shop in the hope they could replace the micro usb ports and bring them back to life but unfortunately they told me they don't have the correct ports for the repair. I would gladly send them to you as your work looks very professional but your website says UK orders only. Keep up the good work. Philip

I have one and I also need to repair the USB any schematics for that? I live in the US not in the UK. I also dont have those 4 pads at the bottom where you solder the micro usb in place. What would you do for that?

I had the same problem, major design failure. It also happened to two of my friends.
