I am a white entrepreneur and when I approach ANY government funding programmes or even large SA companies, they just say outright, 'SORRY WE ARE ONLY FUNDING BLACKS" now I would not mind if THERE WERE BLACK ENTREPRENEURS TAKING UP THIS SOURCE OF FUNDING BUT there are not, so the funding just lies there and either gets stolen by the staff or just NEVER USED! My uncle was murdered on he's farm in A town Called Swellendam, Farm name "WitKlip". He was stabbed 26 times in the chest and hit over the head with a concrete hammer 3 times after the 18 year old lured him to a nearby piece of land saying theirs a broken pipe nearby. He worked under my uncle. After killing him he walked to the house and attacked hes wife and daughter, God's grace that they somehow survived. The bastard only got 18 year's. If you do your research, you will be shocked at the size in scale of these attacks and the shear brutallity of them. And we are powerless, as we are the minority and are being punished for the sins of our forefather's. We are helpless and our only hope is the forgiveness of God and he's protection from the evil that has fallen upon one of Africa's few success story's to democracy, that is now more and more leaning towards communism and a marxist mentality. The black majority rules with a complete disregard for the rule of law, especially those in political positions, enriching themselves and their friends. Please pray for us.

My Personal stats living in South Africa -My parents home was invaded 4 times in one year they even ate the food in the fridge, home invasion once the following year while the whole family was there, My Brother was murdered in cold blood, case never investigated or solved, my Sister was hi-jacked twice in 1 year, I was shot at by Hi-Jackers while driving in my neighborhood, My father-in-laws vehicle was stolen out of a secure parking lot. I'm sorry for you, what happened is not uncommon unfortunately. My husband has been robbed at gunpoint. Our business almost in ruins due to theft and we don't even call the police anymore. It's pointless. Almost broke into our home, we scared them off. Our tires stolen from off the car. My sisters house 3 times, they took even the food in the fridge. Kids clothes everything. Thank you for sharing our predicament. I am a South African women. But not a farmer. My life is not secure and I and many others have been threatend that we will be killed. We were not all participants in the apartheid practices. But most of us were fighting for freedom for all races.
It is not nice to tell us to leave here as this is the only country we know and with the policies put in place we white people are getting poorer as we are being kicked out of all job oppertunities even with degrees and other high qualifications. I am now a pensioner with no pension as the current goverment has stolen our pension money out of the fund. There is no where we can go.

I am a 73 year old ex-farmer living in Zimbabwe. I was beaten up by about 10 of Mugabe's thugs in 2000 and thrown off my farm. My father and I had spent roughly 80 years developing the farm, and we employed over 100 families. I have not received 1 cent in compensation from the government since. The last time I visited the farm some 4 years back virtually everything that could be stolen had been stolen, and virtually everything that could be broken had been broken. Most of my workers had been chased off the property and their huts burnt down. I am not complaining, just reporting.
My advice to South African farmers is, go and have a look at Zambia. Many ex-farmers from Zimbabwe moved to Zambia and have flourished. In fact Zimbabwe was recently importing maize from ex-Zimbabwean farmers in Zambia!

The thing you forget is that most of the 12 million slaves came from slavers of african descent. You see, colonising a foreign and largely unknown ground requires a lot of research before it can be actually "exploited". Who are the rulers, how strong they are, what tools they use, what sources they use, etc.. But surprise surprise, Portuguese were able to establish a slave trade as early as in 1440, centuries before Dutch and Brits actually colonized anything in South Africa. And the Portuguese base of operation was in São Tóme, which was at the time inhabited island. You are telling me, that the Portuguese had managed to capture over 30 000 slaves a year, from the lands they didn't know, by sacking tribes of 100-1000 people, when most of their manpower was already in America. That there isn't a slightest possibility, some African people people saw advantage in trading with European nations. Africa was never a single united nation. Hatred between African ethnicities was and still is a major political leverage.

As a white South African who grew up in real poverty during the 80's, I went on to start my own business and employ many people here. I voted for change in 1992 and supported Mandela's dream. But the ANC has looted and destroyed SA and this is only part of their failed rule. Many whites can leave and ARE leaving, but many cant and will eventually have to fight to defend themselves. Because dispite the fact that not only myself, but many others stand a chance of getting hurt, it doesn't stop us from having a positive mindset. You carry on with everyday life, just with constant reminder from the government that your land will be taken and if you don't hand it over it will be taken by force, plus the news of another family that was attacked. I think there has been a coordinated effort to remove white farmers in order to make expropriation far easier. Malema is the biggest fool under the sun. The majority of the population in South Africa are Zulu and the Khoisan (as they are collectively known) are a minority small then the "Whites". The whites gained most of their farming land through buying it from locals, war, or it being reclaimed for what the natives considered UN-farmable land. In short the VAST MAJORITY of those claiming land was stolen from them are liars.... They may well have been victims of apartheid but they were migrants coming into South Africa and not native to the land. Interestingly enough the Zulu population grew by 800% during the apartheid time frame. It is safe to say that the native Khoisan gain nothing from the Zulu tribe that has overwhelmed South Africa and have so much political power.
The anthropological evidence argues otherwise my friend. You are flat out wrong. Plus, the Zulus mixed with both the Kho and San people thus why some black south Africans still have the same facial features of Kho and San people.

What is not known by many is that the San and the Khoekhoe people indigenous to South Africa were badly abused by the Hutu and Zulu people who came in from the North and displaced them. It started out many years ago, we all heard about these murders and now not only do we hear of them, we know the people involved, 3 farm murders have happened within weeks of each other near me and my family, two of them were women, one of them pregnant- all unarmed. Its hard to explain life in SA, the government clearly hates the white minority and will do nothing to help as helping us will look bad for them politically. On top of this, the government calls to end civilian firearm ownership.. its already a tedious and drawn out process to own a firearm here, and many people cant afford it or are bewildered by the process, all of this seems crazy in light of the fact that the police are incapable of helping most people in SA, and the minister even eluded to this a few years back. I actually watched a documentary where a white farm in South Africa was purchased by the ANC and handed over to a black family. Camera crews went back a year later and found a once prosperous farm in shambles. The black farmer said he petitioned the ANC for financial assistance as he is poor and cannot afford the upkeep,he was denied any financial assistance.

Yet white farmers own the majority of farmland in South Africa, with only 32% of agricultural land being black-owned. This disparity is left over from Apartheid. Whites had been able to keep these lands after blacks had fought for and won their right to property. So, in this way, the shadow of Apartheid and racial inequality remains in South Africa, and it remains to be eradicated. These land reforms are no more racist than Anti-Apartheid movements were. To say these land reforms are racist because they target white farmers, is to say being Anti-Apartheid was/is racist because it targeted white rule in South Africa.

I'm also from South Africa born in 2000 I remember a time before where most people got along I had many black friends and I was never juged for being white but then Nelson Mandela passed away. That's when things started changing for the worst . Farm murders started and up to now people read about it, people hear about it, but no one can really do anything. I know a lot of people would say okay just leave, but it's not that easy not everyone has the financial resources to do that becouse most people have families so then you are left with a choice between you leaving the country for your own sake and leaving your family behind or stay and keep them safe
