Racists generally have a strong spiel that sounds valid, but, in reality, it's just plain racism. This man should know better, but he's now part of the problem, not the solution. Shame on him.
The professor makes several valid points regarding institutionalized discrimination. The issue I take is that I grew up in areas that where predominantly white and predominantly low income and I saw a lot of the same issues there. The problem here may be less racial oriented and more to the fact that wealthy or middle class areas have the resources to protect themselves. There is most definitely a correlation between wealth and discrimination just as there is between wealth and education and statistically speaking black males are the most common demographic to fall out of college simply because the school systems they attended as children tend to be poorly funded inner city schools with a poor teacher to student ratio.
stephen james It’s not about the color of your skin, it’s about you as a person. The United States is made up of many different ethnicities, which gives it the melting pot title. What this professor is saying is that we should all group up by skin color because of something that certain people of another color did. And to be fair, if it weren’t two sides of the same color fighting, he would not be able to talk on this show. He teaches his kids like the following: if you drill into your children’s heads(in his case, to distrust the white) how bad something is then your children will grow up distrusting that topic. In case you are unaware, it is considered brainwashing... But he is describing it as almost a PTSD. You can NOT generalize a whole race when every single person in that race has a different opinion.
Judy Brown How did slaves get to the US? Did the White man jump off his ship to go hunting in the jungle? Or did the white man let your cousins hunt your other cousins for mere gold? There's a stark contrast between the hopeful dream and a perceivable reality. Martin Had a dream that has yet to be fully realized. The content of one's character, as looked upon from not just a racial perspective but one across all forms of minorities in America, is known for being a victim pf prejudice through one's appearance. When the professor mentions there being a difference in facts within Carl's remarks, he is stating that this is a perspective that statistically has not had to be looked through by white people as much as it has for minorities. I feel like that is the point that Tucker is failing to see.

The majority of writers for popular and academic dictionaries have been white men. In the western world, as there are systems in place which privilege white people, it is not surprizing to see that the definition of racism put forward by white men is inaccurate. They are socialized to believe that the racism people of color experience is in any way comparable to the “racism” white people experience (i.e. being called out for perpetrating and upholding white supremacy). There is simply no credibility in white people defining racism.

The lefts whole schtick is centered around the presumption that there is systematic oppression against all colors but white. Maybe the law professor should teach his children how to be "real friends" with all people including their colored brothers and sisters. This would be more productive but requires more responsibility for their own racial community (which is why few on that side of the isle talk about it) - Just as "white" people have helped change the entire climate concerning "colored" people in the last century.... This was a very nuanced perspective based on the experiences African Americans have encountered with white people throughout history and into the present. This is not a generalization about ALL white people. He is not promoting a message that indicts all whites but in the era of George Floyd and countless others, it stands to reason that one might be guarded until one can assess the content of that person's character. My question is, how is it that the Professer can say complete racist statements, publish them, and defend them without being called a racist by the world? I am so glad Tucker cut the garbage and asked the questions the professer could not answer.
How is this prof. Being threatened? Give me some specifics. I was robbed one night, in Ms. and know what? It was two guys, a black one and a white one! I’ll tell you what’s dangerous, living in Chicago right now! I am so tired of these people taking us backwards, and dividing us!
No its because he is right lmao this fox idiot is literally taking the entire thing out of context as the professor tried to explain but since no republican has an IQ over 90 its difficult
He is intellectually weak, hates people who are different than himself, and therefore needs to use skin color as the basis for his arguments. If his college education was actually worth anything, he might have something meaningful to contribute to society.
The point he’s making is, black man don’t have to be Scared of white people and we all can be Friends but at the same time we have to be mindful not every white person is going to treat us fairly or equally and some might be racist. So we have to stay on top on things at all time. It’s funny how A lot of the white people here in the comments are trying to tell others whats racist and whats not racist.🤦♂️
How do professors like this one not realize they are promoting segregation, bigotry and racism? What happened to fighting for acceptance and inclusion instead of superiority?
@@edharkness As young black men, he's simply telling them to be cautious because, believe or not, black people are treated differently in society. Just like Tucker would tell his daughters to be cautious about men, does that make him sexist?

I just LOVE how he tries to pull the racist card on Tucker at the very end. "it's fine for you to care for YOUR daughters, but I can't care about mine?". That's not what he was saying at all, but that professor tried to twist his words to use against him. Not only is that professor racist, he's a professional manipulator. And that laugh that Tucker gave him after he made that statement spoke a million words.
But what about all the times tucker cuts him off and finishes his sentence for him or when he circles back to the same point after the professor already disproved his argument. The only person munipulating anything is tucker, by reading the same one line in the artical even tho thats not the main point of the artical, by completely ingoring all the points the professers making and saying "no you meant this", by shutting the professer everytime he makes a good point i could go on this guy is doing the right thing teaching hes children this stuff and if you dont understand that its because your forcing yourself not to

I was born in the 50’s and I never learned about racism until 1970’s when the movie Roots came out. It’s taught to us. It’s a learned behavior. Fight what ever fight that you think that you have in the court room like I did. We don’t want any more shootings, accidentally or otherwise.
Not being racist is simply treating people the same. If a white person is loud I tell them to quite down, if a black person is loud I tell them to quite down... people who treat black people BETTER OR WORSE are racists. Simply put, a skin color is a horrid way to judge character... treat everyone the same.
Professor says: "Tucker that is a small part of the paper" (meaning I can't defend against your claim that it's a racist paper, soooo let's not talk about 'that small part') Tucker says: "It's the title of the paper"
No he answered this several times...it's interesting how you don't mention the fact that that's the ONLY part of the piece that TUCKER highlights. In true T. Carlson style, he lacks the ability to see context.
Sam the America that a black man experiences is different than what white men experience. That’s the point he makes. Making harsh judgment without even having read the article is a bit crazy to me.
I asked my girlfriend last night if she had ever witnessed any racism because I never had. She hasn't either. We are in our mid 30's. We both went to public school and if you were a cool person it didn't matter to us what color they were. I miss those days with all my black, white and brown friends on our football team. I wish people today had our mindset back then. All this racism has to stop.
That's the thing bud. Its not everywhere. Part of the communist plan to take over our country is to make it seem like certain things are everyday. Commonplace. Unfortunately for them, unlike in history, we as a society have much more access to information in real time than at any other time. That means they run into walls when trying to push this "its everywhere" narrative because facts can and do get out and they can't defeat it. That's when they bring out the systemic racism card because if they can't beat us with the propaganda they will go for the race card everytime. It's all they have.
I used to tell my son definition of a friend is someone who has your best interests in mind and wants the best for you. Trump has stepped up for black men more than Oboma did.
It would be rational to do so when you have to assume the "other side" rationally does so too.... a vicious cycle... Breaking this is the hard thing and that's why Dr. M. L. King was a great man trying and (if not for BLM demagogues) succeeding in breaking that cycle giving equal opportunities to all (and naturally personal hindering)

The only thing the professor is doing is trying to keep racism alive. Who is the racist here? Certainly not Tucker
Sorry you don't see it.
Judy Brown please explain?
Bet your cousins got to keep the best of your other cousins before selling them to the White man for gold... btw, Brazil got 11X the amount of slaves & India still has a caste system... Jay Lopes,
It is painful to find that some of our “heroes” were not always morally good in all, even significant parts of their lives.
This dichotomy of a “good” message in spite of “evil” behavior seems to be reversed herein!
Ekow Yankah, a professor in a NY Law School:
His “good, focused, scholarly behavior“ has been rewarded with success in America! Yet, his message is “EVIL.”
I wish I could believe this to be innocent. I cannot!Such “success” without spreading the loving trust that he’s been met with throughout his life in America is not just disingenuous. It is “EVIL”!
Contrast that to benevolent faith & trust that Candace Owens was raised with. Her grandfather did not feel the need to stoke the fire of racism as she grew & moved from the safety of his care. And she is living testimony that America Is Still Great!
We haven’t earned the name of “Melting Pot” from years of racist behavior!!! Is there some? Yes! We have to TAKE PERSONAL RESPONSIBLY FOR WHETHER WE STOKE IT, (Evil), or whether we ameliorate it with love & understanding, (Good).
Ekow Yankah’s negativity could grow if given oxygen.

oh no. don't tell me HE was racist too!

Wow! The Professor can’t see his own racism!!!!!! He thinks he is right. Unbelievable!!! Great job by Tucker proving his point.

Why did he ever come to US - he needs to go back to his Black Country
This was a very nuanced perspective based on the experiences African Americans have encountered with white people throughout history and into the present. This is not a generalization about ALL white people. He is not promoting a message that indicts all whites but in the era of George Floyd and countless others, it stands to reason that one might be guarded until one can assess the content of that person's character. Tucker was just successful with reshaping the conversation without giving the professor the opportunity to sufficiently explain his perspective. I do not see the genuine attempt to fully understand his perspective probably because it was never really the objective to genuinely understand.
His logic is circular and so he answers every question with a question, hiding behind emotional appeals to avoid exposing the flaws in his argument. Classic sophism.

Just as the question was asked by Tucker & never answered, Would it be ok to openly write about the same thing from a white perspective? Is it only ok to teach hate of others if its coming from a black person towards white people? Hate is hate! I would never teach a child to hate at all! Much less because of skin pigmentation! The word "hate" isn't even an acceptable word to allow a child to use. "I hate carrots"(or other veggies/things) is a nasty & powerful word; just like "love". Only to be used when truly meant. Not as a titled placard for anything & everything they don't like. The Professor stated exactly how he feels about white people in general. Again, a stereotype is being used to push a hateful agenda. That's NOT ok!! Thats racism from a racist! Teach children how to make good choices, be a good judge of character; not color & not to trust just anybody but those whom have shown themselves worthy of trust. That is how you teach a child about people & life. Not about who's color is better or worse. Not who's trials & tribulations were or are greater. Yesterday is gone, today will be over soon & tomorrow isn't for certain. But I do know that as long as ANYONE who spews hate & ill will towards another person based on skin is NO better then slavery! No better or different then racism! No better then the atrocities of the past! How about trying to focus on less hate, less separation & less classification? I know it is getting better, but denying that it is different, is being dishonest. I can go into more details, but if you are unable to admit that the US has a history of racial injustice, that is not completely dead, and whose effects are still carried by many people then this conversation doesn't make sense, since we already found our disagreement, and I guess that we would have to agree to disagree. What happened to you,, happened to everyone. And everything whit reason, by people which hate us all.
Doesn't matter which color someone have.
My dad was a bigot. UGH! I loved him, but not how he thought!
@@karenmcsurley4861 how you think plays a role in what your taught. Though experience inwhich only time can allow , renders your true perspective. There is a unspoken truth that speaks for birds of a feather flocking together. They call it this word racist. That still doesn't change the fact that on the majority scale, we all know what time it is. Perhaps you need to get out more
I was born in the 50’s and I never learned about racism until 1970’s when the movie Roots came out. It’s taught to us. It’s a learned behavior.
ALL people need to stop showing hate or racial discrimination. Teach our kids to respect ALL others and show compliance with law enforcement officers, not belligerence and disrespectful arguments and or difficulty.
Kids are a Blank Slate in Beliefs. They know nothing until taught and they know only that until taught different.
I think MLK, his family, and his legacy are all deeply disappointed in this "professor".
Professor says: "Tucker that is a small part of the paper" (meaning I can't defend against your claim that it's a racist paper, soooo let's not talk about 'that small part')
Tucker says: "It's the title of the paper"
To be fair, usually the title IS a small part of the paper.
No he answered this several times...it's interesting how you don't mention the fact that that's the ONLY part of the piece that TUCKER highlights. In true T. Carlson style, he lacks the ability to see context.
@@stk9387 you are right, I didn't read his article either, but he doesn't refute the statement, so it's an eye sore, it's indefensible.
Sam the America that a black man experiences is different than what white men experience. That’s the point he makes. Making harsh judgment without even having read the article is a bit crazy to me.
@@stk9387 But why is he creating victim groups and placing people in them just because of their skin color. He's spreading, unfounded, fear.
"I will teach my children to have profound doubts that friendship with white people is possible" ...."I never said anything racist" *cue clown music*
People like you Professor make this world a dangerous place!!!!!
His whole life is about race, how sad.
That makes him relevent ,he is psycho 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@gdubsterz1238 That sounds very close to being completely right.

It’s a big difference Tucker and thanks for helping to continue to blurr the lines to the real issues for your millions of viewers
Imagine if a white professor said he would teach his white children to have these views towards black children.
Then there would be no white professor at that institution.
It would be rational to do so when you have to assume the "other side" rationally does so too.... a vicious cycle... Breaking this is the hard thing and that's why Dr. M. L. King was a great man trying and (if not for BLM demagogues) succeeding in breaking that cycle giving equal opportunities to all (and naturally personal hindering)
that's the whole point tucker was trying to get across
As a black man history has taught us exactly what the professor just said, if I am wrong please correct me lmfao
and they have been for 402 years
Poor dude is fighting an imaginary enemy. He's far more likely to be harmed by his own race. Poor thing.
An imaginary enemy? Are you not aware of all these senseless murders of black and brown people that are happening now still. You dont know what this professor has endured in his lifetime to become who he is today. None of us do.
Vincent Zepeda Chief, you’re virtue signaling. You are more than welcome to bow down before whoever you want, but that doesn’t mean anybody else will. Yes, he is definitely fighting an imaginary enemy. He is far more likely to have issues with the black community as opposed to anyone else. Why is there no out rage over the 10 murders in Chicago last weekend? There is no systemic racism in the USA.
Guys this isn't an argument about race, its an argument about civility.
Randy Bobandy Leftist don’t want a civil society and all they are focused on is race. You were saying?
Is the Prof. fighting an imaginary foe? George Floyd is a recent example of why black people are careful around white people especially white police officers
This black guy worked up to a successful Professor in the USA but still thinks there is racism holding his kids back??? Teach them to study and work hard, that's all.
Oh you think its that simple?

@@nopulau8628 because its people in the world who hate or dislike people thats my complexion which makes a lot of things harder than they have to. A lot of white people dont grow up like that so why would you understand ? You cant fully understand something unless you have the experience
How did centuries of generations upon generations end up in impoverished, poor educational, crime ridden communities? By choice huh? You tell me how do you undo hundreds of years of economic, social, psychological, physical and every facet of oppression and deprivation? I’m listening, that’s not a rhetorical question. You don’t have to be a sociology, economics or psychology major to understand this cycle that plagues every black community in America.
