Fun fact about the MD21's: The Swedish Radio has been using them for ages, both because of their high fidelity and their durability in the field. They even got nicknamed 'The Hammer' (at least locally), because you could use them as that. :-) Not sure how much these mics are used at the Swedish Radio these days, but I'm betting there are still hundreds and hundreds in storage.
