You would think Damian learn his lesson after killing Dick by throwing his baton.. but yet almost every page with him fighting he's throwing his baton at everyone's head..
You'd think Damian would've learned period after Dicks death that this shit wasn't worth it, he ended killed own brother while enraged and allying with Superman's cause. The way Superman killed former friends while enraged this should've had Damian realized what he was becoming and why his father was so strict he wanted his son to turn that anger into something productive, learned restraint, what a father doesn't wants to see his son become a killer.
The whole point of Killing Joke was that Joker's philosophy wasn't correct. While his actions do mess up Clark, I think it says more about this version of Clark than Joker

He could have always went back to being good as late as year four. But in year five when he starts to consider his friends expendable and he kills a whole crowd of people after like 2 lines of dialog, he was probably too far gone
He is a children cartoon character, thrown into a gritty timeline without loosing his goofy traits. I think it was Batman who said that Plastic Man has scarcely a weakness and were he not a goofball, he'd be very dangerous indeed. @@MizantropMan yeah the only thing that could potentially stop him would be freezing him to a ridiculously low temperature, him shattering, and the contain the pieces very securely
I think the throw away line about him being super powerful was just hyperbole. Why would plastic man be one of them most powerful? Superman, Flash and many others are far more powerful. Any ice powered hero or villain can stop him; likewise, any flame-based one as well. Then you go into other powers, like teleportation, acid spewers, any with mental/psionic powers... he's not really that hard to take out

@@ThePhantom355 I think the best way to explain this inconsistency is to say that it is Jonathan's son, as Jonathan in canon is atleast around 30 or above, he must be +5 that in Year Five, meaning it's not hard for him to have had a son that he trained, in Injustice 2 he is seen and is called "Crane" I'm pretty sure, meaning that it's canon that the Year Five Scarecrow is a Crane.

I noticed this throughout. Whenever things aren't going perfectly for him, Superman displays these subtle anxious quirks. The best example is at 2:10:21, where he's gripping his cape like it's a safety blanket, but at other times it's as simple as him rubbing his face/head, avoiding eye contact, or replying with silence. Just goes to show how fragile his mental health became, and how unstable but powerful people can become extremely dangerous after experiencing severe trauma.
Everyone tends to forget that Wonder Woman is technically a barbarian strategist. Probably not the best person to handle the internal affairs of a delicate peace operation.
Exactly, my god did I dislike throughout this entire comic. Everytime Superman shown an ounce of humanity she would always change his course of thinking and further spiraling him down to a chaotic path.
@@mikeharris6429 She's blinded by her sympathy for Clark at the loss of Louis and his son. Wonder Woman is the real villian in this in my opinion, she just keeps feeding clarks reign of terror, and telling him what he wants to hear, shes a witch
Despite how much I love the Injustice storyline, that's my one major criticism of it. There were so many chances for Superman to turn himself around, but every time he came close she fed him more and more. What bothers me about it is how out of character it is for Wonder Woman to be so ruthless, vicious, and bloodthirsty. Having read WW books pretty faithfully for a long time, she's generally portrayed as far more compassionate, wise, and level headed than this. The only rationale I have for it is that she might be under the effects of one of the various mind controlling villains that weren't accounted for in the storyline. My best guess is Mister Mind. He could have literally (and I do mean literally) wormed his way into her brain.
WilliamTheMuddy Wonder Woman has brutally murdered villains like 10 times my dude, to the point of Batman and Superman abandoning her on principle. Snapping necks was her most defining characteristic through the entirety of the 2000s.
Not only that, but green arrow is just some dude, superman could have popped his head like a grape at any time. He wanted him dead, and he wanted it to be slow.
@@myliqlanier6329 well I dont think superman ACTUALLY intended to kill Green Arrow, he was so pissed and filled with grief he just kept punching and eventually killed him. If he actually wanted to kill him he would've done it fast like he did to shazam

Love how super boy reacted just wish he was stronger, Connor and the titans went right at superman and didn’t hesitate, I love how they had another super person not waste no time and immediately try to stop him, that’s def within his character. Superman just op af in injustice
Yeah, the power scaling doesn't make sense sometimes. Aquaman manages to hurt one of the top Greek gods, Poseidon. He stands no chance against a serious Superman. Zeus wrecks Superman with ease (as he should). Although he is the most powerful Greek God, is he really that much more powerful than his brother?
I honestly enjoy the fact that they actually use power scaling here. Poseidon is eaten by a shark and brushes it off. Superman can't even touch Zeus or any of the others without attacking from behind like a coward. It's shown that The High Father can literally stop time. Meta humans are just big fish in a very small pond compared to the gods
@@ImtheHOk That's why he took out Shazam as soon as he quit the Regime. He was the only one outside of wonder woman and black adam that could actually hurt him
Don't know if it's the same but, in the flash when anyone goes back in time and changes anything in that universe nothing is 100% the same, something will always be different, they could be using the same explanation.

When its superman tho "a time tested hero" its going too far
That gets tedious though. He could back off on the regular dialogue and ramp it up on the scenes that matter. When you put emotion and force into everything it's the same as not doing it at all, the emotional parts get washed out. Batman and Alfred moving a couch around the batcave shouldn't be just as intense as Bat and Supes fighting over the fate of the world.

Superman really screwed everyone over, and Wonder Woman was really sitting there stroking his supercock. Everyone on his side was in the wrong and it kinda sucks that they were killed off when they realized it.
@Hevno The point is that they accomplished peace through fear, intimidation and ruling earth without even giving them a choice ...and most importantly they might pretend that they want peace but to achieve it they murdered everyone they could that stand in their way no matter who he was (Guy Gardner,GA etc.) just because they decided with leader a fucking alien ...this is earth no krypton and if he wanted to rule a planet he should at least go and fucking find his own ..Superman in this universe is completely delusional and loses every sense of morality or humanity cause of the death of Lois Lane ..done by none other than the joker.Yet Batman's losses came from Superman's team and were disrespected like they were never even honorable heroes of the great fight ..if u read the whole injustice they show that if Batman has killed Joker ..everything could be alright ,confirming that in what actually happened SUPERMAN WENT NUTS AFTER HE KILLED JUST LIKE BATMAN SAID HE WOULD!!
@Hevno the point of intimidation was not put well ur right .. I meant it as the person who represented hope in the whole world turn into intimidation so much that even Batman who represents fear understood that something was awfully wrong
I think the reason even the villain's stopped to allow Batman to take Nightwing is because Nightwing and Batman were literally trying to save their lives . If Batman and his group weren't there those villains in Arkham would've been instantly dead. So it'd be kinda like a "thank you batman for saving our wretched lives, you can take your fallen friend".
I like that but I think they all respect him too and even if they did try to attack him while he was leaving I think sups would've ended that problem since they were still friends at the time
Says a lot about batman’s character and the sheer respect they have for them that even the worst scumbags of arkham stop fighting for him when he’s at his lowest moment. Even if they hate Batman, they know that Batman cares about them in a weird way and they can’t help but respect that.

The part that irks me about all this too is that he's dead for all this. He messed everything up and he's not even there to take in all the chaos he's caused. Btw how is harley scott free in all this she was literally right there next to joker surgical attire on, and she's brought back from the dead... Not louis, but her... Like even Joker being brought back would rub me less the wrong way than this rn. I dunno, guess I'm feeling like she managed to get away with not having to face the heavier consequences of the first players in this game. Joker. Dead. Louis. Dead. Superman. Lost his family and closest friend. Batman lost his closest friend and has lost one family member while his son fights against his. Harley might've lost Joker but she doesn't seem to have been broken the way everyone else has. Batman is literally fighting alongside the woman that helped kill Kent's wife. Sorry, vent over. The bat family gave Damien WAY too much slack. He killed Nightwing and then actively worked against the cause Nightwing died for, then donned Nightwing's moniker and tainted his name. All the while "Its not your fault Damien" BuLlShIt!
It is and isn’t. Damian has a temper and that’s what causes Dick’s death. His anger and irrational behaviour is how Dick died. He dawns the Nightwing costume to honour his memory, despite what side he chooses. He does feel guilty because Dick was HIS brother. Wearing that costume is how he remembers what he has done and how he honours Dick.
@@emrenigba9392 Honestly, I don't even think he knows. Feels like he's just trying to be nuanced and insightful, since his only argument that it isn't Damian's fault is "Damian has a temper" which is one-dimensional and easy-to-come-up-with. After a while, you just gotta be able to differentiate between when people are trying to convey a point and when people are just spewing shit. The "tell" on this one is how he started with "it is and isn't", but I honestly don't think it's worth the effort.

The way Superman killed former friends while enraged this should've had Damian realized what he was becoming and why his father was so strict he wanted his son to turn that anger into something productive, learned restraint, what a father doesn't wants to see his son become a killer.

This comic just made me appreciate Plastic Man as a whole, he's witty, cunning, meta asf and righteous when he's needed to be.
He is a children cartoon character, thrown into a gritty timeline without loosing his goofy traits.
I think it was Batman who said that Plastic Man has scarcely a weakness and were he not a goofball, he'd be very dangerous indeed. If you say "oh he killed ollie" bruh they all broke into his home to steal pills to beat his ass to near death with
They are totally fine with the governments of the world controlling everything with rulers even in the free nations not caring about the people underneath them. When its superman tho "a time tested hero" its going too far
I know I'm late but kudos to the man reading this. The emotion and charisma he puts into every word is astonishing!
True!

Amazing video!👍👏 I just began my comic book collection and found Toon Haven. They have an incredible range of digital comics for every genre, including the hard to find ones. Lifetime updates too!😁
Superman really screwed everyone over, and Wonder Woman was really sitting there stroking his supercock. Everyone on his side was in the wrong and it kinda sucks that they were killed off when they realized it.
sitting there stroking his supercock XD
Amrin Nafiz hey,if there’s a super dog there’s a SUPER COCK
More like the joker lol.
I like that but I think they all respect him too and even if they did try to attack him while he was leaving I think sups would've ended that problem since they were still friends at the time
Batman is a chump.
Says a lot about batman’s character and the sheer respect they have for them that even the worst scumbags of arkham stop fighting for him when he’s at his lowest moment. Even if they hate Batman, they know that Batman cares about them in a weird way and they can’t help but respect that.
@@pelkitrelki1751 "So many people knew about my wife, but Bruce, you were the only one who ever cared." ~Mr. Freeze, _Batman Beyond_
(Before you ask, I don't know the episode, sorry)
Im pretty sure its fear too. Imagine how brutal batman wouldve been if someone attacked him after that
This story Is great but I've always seen wonder women as the main villain because everyone else has somewhat understandable reasons for their actions and she seems like the most selfish person and was one of the first people to embrace killing.
no batman is the one, sparing jokers over and over again so that he could have unlimited chance to kill people. all this just to make himself feel better with his ideology.
True tho
She fell in love with Superman I believe
@@justarandomartist6502 But she didn't fall in love with the normal superman she fell in love with him after he started killing people and pushed him further from what he used to be.
Honestly I think a good example of wonder woman when it comes to this is in the animated movie flashpoint where she takes over europe and her and aquaman get into a fight.
She is very susceptible to evil.
Back here after years. I am still distraught that I won't get to hear Ben's voice on another series. Rest in peace Comicstorian 💜
Superman: *Breaks batman's back*
Alfred: Tough guy finger snapping
Imagine a little boy accidentally drops a wrapper and the flash just comes in killing the kid
Oh my god, that's dark 🤣
All you see is a red blur and then suddenly the kid drops with his head completely turned around

That do be fucked up tho
Imagine that ALL of this is because of the joker.... Damn he really knows how to bring chaos.
Yeah man. The Joker died laughing, as always
My bad, didn't know I felt this strongly about this. 🙁

RIP my journey started here and i am sad to see that there wont be anymore. Your literally the only one that voiced and explained comics that i looked forward to watching. Rest in piece man you deserve it for the hard work you put in your videos.
It's kind of sad when Injustice starts it's literally Batman calling for reinforcements because everyone he knows is dead...
So sad to see all of his allies die one by one throughout this.
The bat family gave Damien WAY too much slack. He killed Nightwing and then actively worked against the cause Nightwing died for, then donned Nightwing's moniker and tainted his name. All the while "Its not your fault Damien"
BuLlShIt!
Cassie McD so how isn’t it his fault?
@@emrenigba9392 Honestly, I don't even think he knows. Feels like he's just trying to be nuanced and insightful, since his only argument that it isn't Damian's fault is "Damian has a temper" which is one-dimensional and easy-to-come-up-with.
After a while, you just gotta be able to differentiate between when people are trying to convey a point and when people are just spewing shit. The "tell" on this one is how he started with "it is and isn't", but I honestly don't think it's worth the effort.
Notnilc yeah you kinda said it perfectly.
@@cassiemcd1911 "Damian has a temper" = killed his brother.
