This turned out so beautifully!
I'm afraid of glass so I won't be able to give this craft a try, but I'll admire from afar :'D
I am so energized by your style.

Those are so cute! Do you feel like you saved money making them yourself?
You really need to take a class. You are doing so many things incorrectly!
I did take a class. And I’ve read a book. It you have constructive criticism that you can deliver in a kind way, I’m all ears. This is my second project and I’m still learning 💗
@@AtHomewithAshley first of all, you need to apply consistent pressure to your cutter. Also, remain perpendicular - no leaning the cutter to the left or right. Running pliers are primarily for running long scores. Get a pair of grozing pliers for breaking off small pieces. Using mosaic clippers throws shards of glass everywhere. They were not made for this use. Cut close to your pattern so you have a minimum to grind. I’m not sure where you bought your iron or what type it is but a good iron will last for years. To get a proper bead you need to apply plenty of heat. Make sure you use the proper cleaners to get off your flux residue or you will end up with white “mold” in a short amount of time along your solder lines. Stained Glass is an expensive and difficult art form and it takes lots of practice. I just worry when people put out their “process” when they are just at the beginning of their journey. There are lots of resources on TH-cam that provide excellent help if you are unable to take more in person training. One I would recommend is Mackenzie H.
Thank you. Some of these are things I can work at getting better at with time. Some are personal preferences and there’s more than one way to skin a cat. I actually love when someone is one or two steps ahead of me and shares their process- it’s easier to learn from than someone who is advanced in my opinion.
