Andy Reid has one a lot of games but gets tight in the biggest and puts too much on the QB. He needs to be more balanced and puts his defense in a bad spot.

Then he became the head coach in 95 drafted The running back and the next year ran them to the Superbowl MVP win.. in none of the years as an OC nor the years after the SB win did Mike successfully "plug" in a running back into his his scheme to have that kind of dominating success. Not even in the nation's Capitol as a coach of the Redskins

I just want the guy to put some respect on Davis' name because a lot of running backs played for shanny not to mention Davis was the 6th string rb that year he was drafted...

When you lose a league leading rusher who can catch the ball, you're going to get worse every single time. Andy Reid isn't perfect by any means, but he's still one of the best coaches in the league, especially offensively. We're only having this discussion because of a freak injury on a play where QBs almost never get injured, let alone this badly.
Remember, Reid traded up, bunny hopped the Saints who were speculated wanted Mahomes. Imagine Mahomes in New Orleans offense. 🔥

Andy is a great coach, but I feel he's another Marty Schottenheimer just the Offensive minded. I've been a Chiefs fan for 30+ yrs and the last time they had a balance Defense and Offense was probably Super Bowl 4. This Defense is not better than last year. They should have kept what they had and tried for it again, they were not the greatest but they could cause a 3 and out and did enough to win against the run. The Offense needs to balance the plays and hate to say it but try some Marty ball running down teams throats, the utilize Mahomes on play action. Other wise he's gonna get hurt and never be the same.

21 years as an NFL coach is an accomplishment in itself. Andy Reid has been successful and his teams are well-coached. Let him ride it out for another year or two as the team matures with Mahomes. He may succeed as a Super Bowl winner, and my team the Bears are struggling with a higher draft pick in Trubisky. In that comparison, Reid is doing a much better job than the Bears.

He's a great coach for mahomes. The chiefs are fine and 20 years in he isnt going to magically shift his mindset. Andy Reid doesn't have the grit or mental toughness to win it all. That's why he's great in the regular season when the pressure is very little. But as soon as the chips are down or a team punches him in the mouth he doesn't know how to respond. It's not saying he's not a brilliant play designer or offensive guru but he just doesn't have the it factor that coaches like Doug pederson bill belechick or Sean Payton have.
The grit and mental toughness? Vermeil won a SB. The man cried every game.
