@@jamesrougely9519 Jerry put together a good team. Can't fault him. The interceptions are either a bad play call or poor throws. Dak doesn't strike me as a franchise quarterback. He has too much talent around him to not flourish in this system. If it's Garett's fault then this should be his last year because how much more does one have to see of him to determine he can't get it done?

Wtf was he supposed to do bro? I'm not even a Cowboys fan and I was frustrated for Dak when that pass went right through Cooper's hands for the int. Then all the times he had pressure on him almost as soon as the ball was snapped.
I get you wanna hate on the guy but he didn't miss two field goals. There were also two interceptions that were deflected. AND Cooper tripped over himself with wide open field in front of him.
The defense couldn't stop anyone either. He's not the best QB in the game, I get that, but he's certainly hated way too much just because he plays for the Cowboys.

That first season with Dak was great because of the running game. A good running game came make up for a sub-par QB.

It is hard, if not impossible, to believe Garrett is not almost as good or better a HC than a Kubiak, McCarthy, Billick, Harbaugh, Dungy, Cowher, or Switzer, or Caldwell, Whisenhunt, Fassel, Smith, Quinn, Fox, or Rivera. Garrett has been saddled with two middle (mediocre)-tier QBs (Romo, Prescott) that took and will take the Dallas Cowboys and him only so far. He has not had that combination of both or either uber QB and/or shut-down defense. Coaches are as good as their players and their opponent's players. A Head Coach will only be as successful as will his/her players, especially star players.

@RubinTurner answer this was the O Line there because to me look like GB was in Dak face the whole time and the O Line is what help the run and pass. Everyone talk about Brady but when Brady had a really bad O Line and won. What QB wins a lot of games when they don’t have protections.

@@ranfa7373 I'm not making any excuses for Kirk. They're learning a new offense. Cook is really the featured part of that team. And he should be. Kirk has to excel at protecting the ball not turning it over and scoring in the red zone and on 3rd down. He's been just as inconsistent as Dak has been. Cousins got paid because of his time in DC. Minnesota wasn't going to get him any other way but offering the whole deal guaranteed. That was a mistake.

Turnovers killing the cowboys. Defense is playing well enough to win if the offense would function on all cylinders. The team has flip flopped since the Romo days of when defense was trash and offense would put up 30pts and still lose.
The defense stunk form the get go. It had nothing to do with time of possession. It had to do with WIll and Pride and the desire to win. Who wanted it more and what were they willing to do to win the game inside the rules of fair play. They need to figure out how to convert on 3rd down and move the chain. Give Dak more crossing passes slanting to the right is where is the best and the deep left corner pass. Also start on offense when you win the toss and stop worrying about having the ball first in the 2nd half. Pick up first downs, use up the clock and score.

Here is thought on the situation. The offense has to be unpredictable. They have enough talent to mix running plays with EZEKIEL Elliot, Tony and include dak Prescott (few plays). Then a mix if short passes with deep threats. Change up on each down according to what the defense is giving you. Keep the opponents defense guessing and being tired on the field because they are out there to long.
The defense is allowing to many points they were good with New Orleans but I was concerned with the first three games because they gave up to many points from teams that are the worst in the league. I knew that was going to affect the team down the road with better teams.
ALSO LAST THEY NEED TO FIRE (CUT) THE KICKER BECAUSE HE WAS JOKE.

If you watched the game it’s clear that loss was on Garrett they were down 14-0 and literally abandoned the run game. Jason Garrett panicked and told kellen to pass them back into the game. The tipped int really deflated the defense and the game wasn’t the same after that.

Why is it always said that "Dak has to have a running game to be successful"? That statement can be said about any qb in the league. The Eagles did the same thing to Green Bay last week, that Green Bay did to the Cowboys on Sunday. You never hear anything negative about Rogers from these guys. I can't remember them ever saying anything negative about a white qb. If you're a black qb in the league, you have to be outstanding every week. The man throws for 463 yards, 2 tds / 3 ints(2 of which wasn't his fault), and he's roasted. Not the defense, Prescott is. Ridiculous.
I want to believe that if the Cowboys don’t make it to the playoffs then that’s it for Jason Garrett. As for who the Cowboys should bring in next if that happens, well let’s just say that it shouldn’t be a college coach because why would you want to leave college other than believing that the situation you’ll be taking over will be a whole lot better than what you have in college. If I was any successful college coach, I would just flat out avoid the NFL because I believe that college football is better than the NFL. You have to lose a certain amount of games to get one of the best players in the draft and hope you hit on a couple of more later in the NFL while in college you can just go and scout the best high school players and athletes in the country and just hope that they will commit to your school. Just stating my opinion.

Dallas doesn't have what people think they have. The have a pretty good D-line. They don't have a nasty D yet.
Dak is playing better this season than last season. There's no doubt about that. I just think their real problem is they are okay in most areas, but not really good in any except for maybe Zeke. But even the best RB needs an area to run into.
They have a good D line. They have good run blocking. Dak is good. They have good LBs. Secondary is okay. Pass blocking may not be as good as run blocking. But they're not real good in any areas. Tom Brady keeps being the example of rating QB progression and whether one will ever win a Super Bowl, but it's never put in to the analysis what Tom Brady had with him and how those areas of the team were very good and beyond instead of just being good. Having LB like Willie McGinnest, secondary players like Lawyer Malloy, an O line that he hardly gets his uniform dirty. Right down to a kicker like Adam Vinatieri. Brady had very good teams around him. Dallas is just not very good in any area. Anybody remember Dez Bryant criticizing the offense as being too basic? Maybe he was right.
I dont know whats going on with the cowboys but i do know if they lose a 3rd straight game the conversation will only be about Jason Garrett's future..
First of all I have never been a fan of Garrett, but our defense did not play well in the 1st half PERIOD!!! Dropped catchable ball by Cooper for an INT, Gallup being molested (NO CALL) resulting in another INT, 2 missed FG's, losing Collins for the game, so now backup tackle's on both sides, and let's just be honest with some pretty bad officiating = A LOSS NO MATTER WHO YOU PLAY OR WHERE...
I think It's Kellen Moore. I think we need a veteran coordinator.

People are gameplanning to stop the run bc coaches are finding out "if you stop the run you stop the Cowboys" if your over here saying you deserve to be the highest paid QB play like it. Name any top QB if you stop the run theyll play fine. Mahomes Rodgers, Brady, Wilson, Brees can win the game with a bare minimum running game.

Anyone that believes that dak is the problem doesn't understand football. Put Dak on any team with a good coach and these problems would not exist. Put zeke on a team with a good coach and he would lead the league in yards from scrimmage. Put any qb with JG and they ain't going anywhere.
