finally a T54! the might of the volksarmee and red army for the early cold war, they have a very bad reputation for being cheap unreliable scraps but many forget this tank has its origins back in the late 40's and early 50s for the time it was truly revolutionary and a mighty force compared to nato M48 and M47 especially in the armor and production rate department
Strange that they call this vehicle T-54A, since it is very obviously the T-54B - 2-plane stabilized D-10T2S gun, gunner's NV sight and commander's NV device. The basic T-54A has only vertically stabilized D-10TG gun and only driver's NV device. Most of the produced T-54As were modified into T-54Bs in the 1960s, but to the best of my knowledge they did not keep their original designation.
I really hope they add urban maps! A lot of the late soviet tanks were designed with urban warfare in mind, while NATO tanks are more focused on range domination in open areas
since the game is set in the Fulda gap near the inner German border ( since point alpha has a part of it running through the map albeit not modeled in-game yet ) you will likely not see any big city's or other big urban areas you will mostly be seeing small towns or other such areas
@@sergeantliangplays where are already small towns all of wacth are real since all the maps are based on real life aeras around Fulda there are some things missing example like the inner German border on point alpha but they will likely be something added down the line as for a map editor right know there are no plan for adding such a future but that can change later down the line.
I really like seeing these older tanks myself. Esp. since it seems like your doing more instinctive shooting even though the way your supposed to do it is with the stadimeter. Be neat to get some Korea vibes with M4A3E8s going up against T-34-85s!
Hey man, no point doing the after action review if you aren't going to spend time on any of the interesting hits or detail the damage much further than "then we saw a tank in the trees". We watched the video, we saw the engagements and don't need the play by play. Zoom in, show the hit modules, spend time on shots that did no damage and those that caused catastrophic damage. This would make the latter part of the video far more engaging.
In case you missed the first part watch here 😀th-cam.com/video/nRPaOjnJJ28/w-d-xo.html
Just pulled the trigger and bought this game.. thanks for the videos

I have never heard of the T-54 having a bad reputation, it was quite a good tank.
@@whya2ndaccount T-54s still have a rotating floor though, which is pretty much the main feature of a turret basket.
This game would be 10x better if it had co-op
Multiplayer is coming.

I mean it’s april fools they’re not gonna put as much effort in research and in development as the main game
Nice Video Again. Goes to show the massive development between the T-34 and T-54
Loved these missions with older tanks. Great April Fools event.
It would be pretty cool if they did like a Yom Kippur war or other wars during the Cold War dlc

@@samargrewal929 I see. But adding in the parts with small towns would definitely make it a lot more fun. And maybe a map maker in the far future?

Cant wait for the game to have Marders, Leos, Luchs and wiesels
I hope m-47 comes back one day :)
Do you think that we will get the M47 in a later update?
Probably not any time soon. The M47 was used as a testing tank for the devs.
They already removed the M47 from the game along with the April fool's missions
The T-54 however has been made a reserve tank for the east Germans
the M47 is also outside of the scope of the game, since it was retired from frontline service well before the 80s
The oldest Western Tank we are confirmed to have is Leopard 1A1A1. But I reckon M48A2Gs can also be added after game reaches 1.0
@@venpirethevampire Where can I see info like this? Also thanks for telling me

Thanks for your feedback, I'll definitely take those things into consideration!
