      Yuppers. Its nice to know how to read and write the language, now comes the hard part... learning actual words and grammar and honorifics and politeness levels, etc.
      Its been 3 years so maybe you already know all that by now :D, but I've just started!

    And with that, I have learned both Hiragana and Katakana, but now I'm kind of lost; kanji is out of the question for now, so I must learn words! Wish me luck! ありがとうございます this was very helpful!

    • @neferpitou9662
      @neferpitou9662 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why is kanji out of the question? You don't have to learn them all at once. Just learn how to write each new word you learn. Otherwise you'll be illiterate until you decide to study hundreds of them in a big group, which I can't imagine would be very fun.

    • @Nitro_GamePlay
      @Nitro_GamePlay 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Neferpitou
      I said for now, I do intend to learn it as I learn new words but kanji isn't my main focus as of now, my focus is more on learning more words to form sentences and as I do that I'll pick up the new words kanji which will make learning kanji a fun and simpler experience as it has been so far with kana.

    Hi there! thankyou so much, I now know all the Hiragana characters. How do I get access to the Katakana alphabets as well with the same tutor? I have been consistent the past 10 days and I want to continue exploring more. Thanks!

    The 'Day 1 video' has 249k views. This one has 39k views. That fact speaks volumes.

      Well, the difficulty ramps up immensely with each lesson. Maybe some just find another way to memorize characters as well.

      People tend to drop it if it's spread out too much probably because of lack of commitment or interest after a few days. these lessons are actually very easy if you bother trying to recall every single letter in between each video (and I also pause often during the video to try and read every single word that appears - even the ones she doesn't say out loud).
      It took me about 8 hours learn and memorize this alphabet to near perfection. I bet one can get a higher chance of success by clearing it in one day. Tomorrow, I'll see if I remember them all. That's gonna be the real final test.

    I have a question: it says in the video that を is never used in a word, but always as an object marking particle instead. However, there are two examples in the video: みずをのむ and やさいをたべる, both with を, and from what I understood を is pronounced in both of them.
    Could someone please clarify that?

    I'm confused about something. In しゅっぱんしゃ, that is ぱ, for pa, but when I translate it, instead of coming up as shuppansha, it comes up as shubbansha. If I just use しゅっぱん, it comes up as shuppan, and not shubban. So is Google translate wrong, or is that a special case?
