I feel like you're HEAVILY underselling how useful Rinkah can be. Not as a combat unit no, she sucks, but as a support unit. Strength and defense are probably the most widely lacked stat among BR units and she gives a ton of them to anyone shes paired up with. Shes basically BR Charlotte where an early promotion turns her into the premier stat Backpack for any physical unit
I typically pair her with Oboro who holds a Guard Naginata. The closest thing to a tank that can Seal both Speed and Defense (and other stats if you build her that way).
For me personally, one thing that Rinkah has going for her that I think people can overlook is that not only is she available super early, but because of this fact, once you get her to a D rank in axes (which isn't hard to do), she becomes able to weild a hammer to crush knights and a pike ruin club to bonk lance users with, and this will pick up her kills easily because of how good these weapons are in Birthright

But you're right, clubs are good in Birthright, and I always like to say that Hoshido needs axes
I think Rinkah is saved from F tier because she makes a great backpack, she gives a lot of strength and defense on pair up and that can be vital on earlier chapters when you only have Kaze Subaki and Hana who are all kinda squishy. Mozu is saved from F tier because she makes a decent combat unit as long as she doesn't take a hit especially if you reclass her to Kinshi, and passing down Aptitude makes her a hot commodity as a mother
Rapid fire format i get it, but... Subaki can't possibly be in the same tier as Hinoka who is significantly better than him. It doesn't help that unlike Rev, Birthright has very few chapters where flier utility is useful. Subaki himself relies heavily on Darting Blow to double and soon enough he stops doubling and starts getting doubled which undermines one thing he has over Hinoka - his physical bulk. Orochi has high magic... and skill and res and workable hp and defense. Holding her back are her low speed and lack of access to Dark Mage/Nosferatu since she has pretty much a perfect stat spread for it. But even without it she hits like a truck and not doubling isn't an issue if enemy dies in one hit. Reina and Scarlet are at least A, they're really good for majority of their availability. Setsuna should be next to Rinkah, she's very underleveled, which combined with having one of the lowest growth rates in the game makes her lack a purpose - if you really want a fast Archer, then just raise Mozu. Azama is way better than B - he's one of the best units in BR. As soon as you promote him/reclass him, the man starts dropping enemies left and right. Insane bases and very good growths being held back by his base class where he can't attack. Hana is a player phase nuke, but not at base, so B is a bit too high for her.
I made Subaki a samurai/swordmaster in revelations to try something new. He’s an absolute monster with a killing edge due to his high skill level. He also keeps doubling just fine in my experience. Maybe I just got lucky. I know it’s not as optimal as the overpowered Ryoma but part of the fun is finding out new ways of making things work or exploring options.

If you favour Hana enough to get her to level 8-10 by the time Hinata joins, then she will be better. But if she is stuck around level 4-6, Hinata will be a lot easier to use. Units like Mozu and Hayata are F-tier. I don't see how they are not F-tier. You need to grind and/or baby them to such an extent to make them useful when better units exist already without any work. All the Ninjas are really good. Saizo is definitely better than Subaki. I'd put all the Ninjas in S-tier.
I think female corrin (due to Jakob) is higher S and Jakob higher A, Felicia is more magic based than physical and Vice Versa for Jakob to make Felicia more viable and do more damage you need flame shuriken which will take a while.
Takumi is decent but definitely not S tier. Having a good player phase in a more enemy phase centric game can only get you so far. You can reclass him to a class with good combat like Mechanist but it requires you to S support with either Kagero, Setsuna, or Mozu and then spend a heart seal. Even then his combat will be worse on average when compared to say Saizo. Speaking of which Saizo and Kagero have far better combat compared to Kaze. They should be higher than him imo. Kaze only has the advantage of slightly earlier join time. Rinkah is criminally underrated. Her combat isn't fantastic yes but she's one of the best pair up supports in the game and she's useful for her tanking capabilities in a game with few tanks, particularly early game. Even then her combat really isn't that bad and there are ways to improve it. Hell her personal skill alone helps with that quite a bit
Yeah I agree with your point about Takumi. He has A LOT going for him, but it's unfortunate that he's a birthright unit. If he was in Conquest he'd be top 10 (maybe 5) in the entire game, hell he would probably pop off in Revelations as well. But he just doesn't benefit from Birthright's level design at all.
You're underestimating Takumi a bit too much. His signature weapon alone - *Fujin Yumi* is probably what makes him an S-Tier. He has high skill and higher crit ratio than average characters. He also takes hits surprisingly well for an archer. Not to mention he can't be hindered by terrain when he moves due to mentioned weapon.
@Zeroreaper0.0 fujin yumi is probably better than raijinto, honestly. Without it, Ryoma is still a strong unit with another ranged option, great bases, great growths, and great skill availability. Takumi, on the other hand, takes more time to get off the ground. Which Fujin yumi allows him to run up and secure kills others can't at his join time, or rescue/carry someone through impassable terrain. Brother Pineapple is deserving of his s tier status

But Silas is actually quite good in Birthright, partly due to a lack of competition for another cavalier, but I personally prefer to promote him into a great knight for access to axes (which you don't get many of in Birthright without friendship/partner seals), but also to make him really physically bulky; this also lets him give great pair up bonuses in strength and defense, as well as 1 more point in movement. I also personally think that using Silas has another useful benefit in letting you partner seal Hinoka or Oboro into a paladin or great knight, too, so he's not one to sleep on. As for Selkie, I personally like her somewhat, but without a good mom, she's honestly just a worse Kaden, of whom is better than most people give him credit for since his beastbane skill lets him do good damage to a lot of enemies that are fairly common in Birthright
Silas can be extremely powerful if you play around Vow of Friendship (which requires Corrin to be below half health). The biggest drawback to Silas on Birthright though is the Hoshidan weapons (can't forge lances, have to use Naginatas) and Katanas drop his defense for Speed, but Kodachis drop your Speed by 4 anyway (factoring in the Speed buff from Katanas). But if you pair him with Rinkah and keep him in Sakura's aura, he becomes very tanky. You can throw on a Guard Naginata for extra tankiness, but that might be overkill for defense. Silas also gives you Shelter, which lets you double Sing with Azura, which is very busted.
Orochi as Witch is A tier, the class fixes her speed and she already has extremely high magic and skill. She became the best magic user in Birthright for me. People usually rank Niles A tier in Conquest because of Capture, so Orochi should be A tier too.

One hp tonic is all it takes to get Rinkah going. It's the most easily controlled combat prf skill

So Ryoma joins at the end of chapter 13. Thats still plenty of chapters and paralouges to participate in. He still is around the majority of the game.
I love the maid/butler units. Very solid and versatile. Felicias magic is so high that once she gets the magic shurikens she is just busted.
idk rinkah is really strong in my game I use her as a tanky hard hitter she's done good so ig it's subjective
