    Thanks for the information. I have fully reorganized degree and 8 plus years of experience in IT. Is it mandatory to take IELTS in my case ?

    • @TravelCuddlers23
      @TravelCuddlers23  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Since your degree is fully recognized and you have over 8 years of experience in IT, you likely qualify under Option 1, which does not require an IELTS certificate. However, if you want to strengthen your profile and enhance your chances of visa approval, having an IELTS certificate can be beneficial.
      If the exam fee isn’t an issue, it might be worth getting certified to showcase your language skills.

      No, for proof of funds, only bank statements showing liquid funds will be accepted. Investments like Demat statements or even fixed deposits are typically not considered by the consulate. They require readily accessible funds to ensure financial stability during your stay.

    If I don't find a job in Germany, can I use my Opportunity Card to visit and seek employment in other EU countries? Or am I restricted to Germany only, unable to travel to other EU nations?

    • @TravelCuddlers23
      @TravelCuddlers23  12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yes, you can use your Opportunity Card to visit other EU countries to attend job interviews. However, keep in mind the following:
      1. Your purpose of travel must be clear and solely for attending interviews.
      2. If asked by authorities, you should be able to provide proof, such as interview call letters, accommodation bookings, and your planned return to Germany.
      3. Ensure that your stay complies with the visa and entry requirements of the country you are visiting.
      This flexibility allows you to explore job opportunities in nearby EU nations while primarily being based in Germany.

      Hi! Since your university is listed as H+ on the Anabin database and your BSc degree on a separate section, you’ll need to provide separate printouts: one showing the university’s H+ status and another for the degree status. This should be sufficient for your appointment, so no additional ZAB verification should be necessary according to us.

    Hello sir, my appointment is on 2 December, should I mention my start date to travel on 27 December?
    or what should be minimum days of gap between appointment and start travel date.

    • @TravelCuddlers23
      @TravelCuddlers23  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would suggest keeping at least a one-month gap between your visa appointment and your intended travel date, as it generally takes around a month to receive an approval. However, the travel start date you mention on the application isn’t critical-it only takes effect once your visa is approved. For instance, if you list 15th December but your visa is approved on 10th January, the visa period will start from 10th January, so you won’t lose any days.
      Consider how much time you’ll need to wrap things up in India after receiving the visa. People often choose a longer gap to handle any remaining preparations comfortably. Also, traveling just before New Year’s may be costly due to high demand, so you might want to set a start date in mid-January for better accommodation options.

    • @TravelCuddlers23
      @TravelCuddlers23  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for watching! As a mechanical engineer, submitting a part-time job contract may help support your application, but it won’t be enough on its own to fulfill the financial means requirement for the Opportunity Card.
      To meet this requirement, you typically need to show one of the following:
      * Proof of a blocked account ("Sperrkonto") in Germany with at least €1,027 per month to cover your stay, plus funds for a return flight.
      * A Verpflichtungserklärung (formal obligation letter) from a sponsor living in Germany.
      * Current bank account statements demonstrating sufficient funds.
      A part-time job contract could help supplement these primary documents, but it won’t replace them.

    Sir, as you have mentioned about regular degree or marksheet in the video then my question is that, distance learning masters or graduation through correspondence, do not make a person eligible for an opportunity card? However I have 13 years of job experience..

    • @TravelCuddlers23
      @TravelCuddlers23  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Based on my experience, the authorities do verify if “Regular” or “Full-time” is mentioned on your degree or marksheet. If it’s not explicitly stated, they may ask for an authorized letter from your college to confirm it. However, if your degree is listed in the ANABIN database, and it mentions that distance learning is accepted, then it should be recognized for the Opportunity Card. For example, certain degrees like BCom have been accepted even with distance learning as per ANABIN.
      Additionally, with 13 years of job experience, you might still be eligible under Option 2, which considers points based on work experience, language skills, and other factors. You could explore that route to strengthen your application.

      Thank you so much for your message!
      In my case, I brought all my original documents, but they didn't check them. However, I strongly recommend bringing your original documents for safety. For experience letters, if you have the originals, take them along. If not, photocopies should be fine, and you can also inform them that you have digital copies if needed. They usually don't insist on original experience letters, but it's always good to be prepared.
      They asked several questions during the interview, and we're currently working on a detailed video about that, as it's quite a lengthy topic. Stay tuned to our channel for more in-depth insights on the entire visa process, including tips to make your Opportunity Card application stand out.
      The interview itself took around 45 minutes to an hour, but the waiting period can range from 30 minutes to as long as 6-7 hours, so be prepared for that.

    Is a bank statement of savings account with balance around 12 lakhs enough for the funds?

    • @TravelCuddlers23
      @TravelCuddlers23  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, a savings account balance of around ₹12 lakhs should be sufficient. Be sure to provide bank statements covering at least the last 3 months, and if possible, 6 months for added security. It's important that the funds haven't been recently credited as a lump sum, as this might raise concerns that the money was borrowed.

      1. Yes, the insurance from Dr. Walter through Expatrio is a reliable option. After applying on Expatrio, you’ll receive two downloadable PDFs-one for travel insurance and one for health insurance. Be sure to include copies of both with your visa application.
      2. These two documents provided by Expatrio are sufficient for your visa interview.
      3. The start date of your insurance should align with the estimated arrival date in Germany that you mentioned in your VIDEX form.

      Thank you! First of all, congratulations on your decision to move to Germany.
      In terms of timing, I would strongly recommend booking your VFS appointment as soon as possible. On the Videx form, you can mention your intended travel date in December. Keep in mind that there is typically a long waiting period for appointments, so applying in November may cut it close.
      If you apply now, you might just get an interview slot by the end of November. After the interview, it can take around one month or more for the visa processing to complete. This timeline is based on the process at the New Delhi embassy, so make sure to account for possible delays.

      No, you don't need to show any flight bookings.

      It’s best to focus on showcasing your regular/full-time Bachelor’s degree and avoid highlighting your distance learning Master’s degree, as it might not be valued equally in the points system.
      Additionally, you only need to worry about points if your Bachelor’s degree or university isn’t recognised in the ANABIN database.

      1. Yes, you can apply for a 6-month visa. They will ask you about the duration during your visa interview.
      2. Instead of a blocked account, you can provide a bank statement showing your financial situation over the past 3 months as proof of funds.
      3. For a 1-year visa, you generally need to show proof of funds for the entire duration. Either a blocked account for the full year or a support letter from someone already living in Germany could work. However, it's important to provide strong financial documentation to avoid any complications.

    • @TravelCuddlers23
      @TravelCuddlers23  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, it is mandatory to have ‘Full-time’ or ‘Regular’ mentioned on your degree, even if both your university and course are listed in the Anabin database. In cases where this isn’t stated on the degree itself, you’ll need to obtain an official letter from your college or university. This letter should be on the institution’s letterhead, signed, and stamped, clearly stating that your degree was pursued on a regular, full-time basis, along with your name, roll number, and any other identifying details.

      @TravelCuddlers23  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, based on our experience, the statement you provided may not be sufficient. This is what they look for to confirm you physically attended the program.

    Hello sir, if a person goes to Germany on student visa masters degree can he take his spouse with himself together or the spouse can join later and how much time would that take?

    • @TravelCuddlers23
      @TravelCuddlers23  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If a person is going to Germany on a student visa for a master's degree, they typically cannot take their spouse along right away. The spouse would need to apply for a dependent visa later, after the student has completed the required formalities in Germany, such as registering with the university and securing accommodation.
      The processing time for a dependent visa can vary, but it generally takes around 2-4 months after submission of the application. It’s important to check the specific requirements with the consulate or embassy, as additional documents like proof of financial means, accommodation, and health insurance will be needed for the dependent visa.

      3. Book an Appointment: Schedule a visit to the local immigration office (Ausländerbehörde) to apply for the switch.
      4. Fill Out the Form: Complete the application form for the Opportunity Card, which you can do online or at the appointment.
      5. Pay Fees: Be prepared to pay any fees for the visa conversion.
      6. Wait for Approval: After submitting your application, wait for the decision.

      I don’t think your graduation will be accepted since it’s from distance learning. In that case, you’ll likely fall under the second option, where you need to score a minimum of 6 points based on factors like IELTS, German language skills, education, and vocational training. This is a different path, and you’ll need to check your eligibility accordingly. You can use this checklist to calculate your score: www.make-it-in-germany.com/en/visa-residence/self-check-opportunity-card

    • @TravelCuddlers23
      @TravelCuddlers23  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If your graduation degree is full-time, you should only submit documents related to that degree. If your graduation degree is through distance learning and your post-graduate degree is full-time, then you should submit both. However, based on my experience, they typically do not accept distance learning degrees and only consider full-time or regular degrees.
      To be on the safe side, you should only submit your full-time degree and avoid mentioning your distance degree in your motivation letter or resume.

      Based on my experience, the authorities do verify if “Regular” or “Full-time” is mentioned on your degree or marksheet. However, if ANABIN lists your degree and mentions that distance learning is acceptable, it should be accepted for the Opportunity Card. For example, in some cases like BCom, distance learning is recognized.
      It’s crucial to cross-check your degree on ANABIN to see if it qualifies, as that will give you the most accurate information on whether it will be accepted for your application.

    can we not show 6-7 months money?

    is it compulsory to have 12months money and show the accomodation booking of whole year?

      During the visa interview, you'll be asked whether you'd like to apply for the Opportunity Card for 6 or 12 months. If you choose the 6-month option, you only need to provide proof of accommodation for 6 months and show sufficient funds. A current bank statement will suffice, demonstrating at least €1,027 per month, along with funds for a return flight.

    What about funds information/ blocked account

    • @TravelCuddlers23
      @TravelCuddlers23  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Regarding funds for the Opportunity Card, you have a few options:
      1. Blocked Account: This is a common method where you deposit a specific amount in a German bank account, which is then "blocked" to ensure you have enough funds to cover your stay. The amount is typically €1,027 per month, so for a 12-month stay, you would need approximately €12,324. This blocked account shows that you can support yourself financially while searching for a job.
      2. Bank Statements: If you have sufficient funds in your existing bank account, you can provide bank statements as proof instead of a blocked account. For this, you need to show at least 3 months of bank statements with the required balance maintained. To be extra secure, providing 6 months of statements is advisable, especially if you have consistently maintained the necessary balance.
      3. Family Support: If you have family in Germany, a formal invitation or support letter from them can be an alternative to showing full funds. This letter should indicate that they will financially support you during your stay.

    My friend deported from US can he apply for this card any high chances of rejection?

    • @TravelCuddlers23
      @TravelCuddlers23  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      While a deportation from the U.S. doesn’t automatically prevent your friend from applying for the Opportunity Card, it could make the application process more challenging. The German authorities might look more closely at the reasons behind the deportation.
      Your friend should be ready to explain what happened and provide any documents that can help clarify the situation. It’s important to be honest in the application.
      The outcome will depend on the specifics of the deportation and how the German authorities view it. It might be a good idea for your friend to talk to an immigration lawyer to understand the risks and improve the chances of success.

    How many months should we have to apply jobs to show in Visa Interview

    • @TravelCuddlers23
      @TravelCuddlers23  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The number of months you should apply for jobs before your visa interview depends largely on how recruiters are responding to your applications. Even just a few positive responses from recruiters indicating that they are interested in your profile and would be happy to interview you once you’re in Germany can be sufficient. These responses can help convince the visa officials that the only thing standing between you and a job is the visa itself.
      The key is to show that you are actively engaging with the job market and that there is genuine interest in your skills from German employers. This can strengthen your case during the visa interview.

      Yes, you can bring your kids if both you and your husband are applying for the Opportunity Card. In that case, you'll need to increase the balance by half of the required amount for each child. The current requirement is €1,027 per month for each adult and approximately €514 per month for each child.

    Hello, I am from Pakistan.l am living in Romania. I want to apply for chancenkarte. My qualification Diploma of associate engineer in civil technology of three year. Can you help?

    • @TravelCuddlers23
      @TravelCuddlers23  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello, thank you for reaching out. To apply for the Chancenkarte (Opportunity Card) for Germany, your qualifications will be a key factor. Since you have a Diploma of Associate Engineer in Civil Technology, you’ll need to check if your diploma is recognized in Germany. You can do this through the ANABIN database, which evaluates foreign qualifications.
      Additionally, you’ll need to meet other requirements, such as proof of sufficient funds, and ideally some initial job prospects or interest from German employers.
      Since you’re currently in Romania, you’ll need to research whether you can apply from Romania or if you will need to return to Pakistan to submit your application. As of now, we are more familiar with the process for applying from one’s home country, so it’s important to verify if the German consulate in Romania handles such applications.

      What is your location or the German Consulate/Commission you registered with? For Delhi, the current wait time is approximately 2-3 months. However, I recommend regularly checking your VFS portal and email (including spam folders) for any slot booking notifications. Once they open the slot booking option, it will only be available for 48 hours, after which you’ll be placed back on the waiting list if not booked.

      Both of you need to apply separately using different VFS accounts. Each of you must provide proof of your respective bank account statements, showing at least €1,027 per month, as well as funds for a return flight. This totals approximately 12 lakhs each, or 24 lakhs in total. Alternatively, you can apply for a six-month period instead.
