During the pandemic I was bored and searching TH-cam like a lot of us were I'm sure. One day I stumbled across some sailing videos and immediately knew what my next hobby would be! I bought a Reve De Mer sailboat in Cebu, Philippines and this is what happened!

The motor is incompatible with the size of a boat like this. It's like a little girl pushing a shopping cart full of cartons of chicken, potatoes and milk

Most sailboats over the length of 16 feet have some form of auxiliary power. That may be an electric motor or gas-powered outboard. But the larger a sailboat, the more need there is for an engine. The purpose of a motor on most sailboats is for maneuvering when in the harbor or marina.
