Offtopic: Congrats to the current and recent German government for bringing Germany that far down that it isnt even in this Top10 list anymore..... I'm glad to see that the producer of that Top10 video had rated it by reality and not "just put it in the list because its Germany". Thank you for the brutal honesty.
Let me guess: You are a fan of the AfD, or of some other far-right or populist party, aren't you? How do I know that? You don't do your research! Just one click onto the link in the descripion - two seconds or about the time it took you to write the word "offtopic" - would have told you, that the original vid is older than our current government. The video is also not really rated by facts but more by personal impression and opinion. This video is mostly _personal opinion infotainment_ and he even kind of _writes_ it there. Examples: How is Belgium on the list (he even forgot the Dutch/Flemish language there) and not NL instead? How France, no Austria? -> Vienna is ranked the most livable city _on earth_ by monocle, and it has been on the top spot several times in the past also. Munich, Amsterdam, even Berlin, top 10 on several lists. Freiburg, Utrecht, Düsseldorf, Münster, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Bonn (that's where I live), soooo many advanced, economically quite healthy and in general livable places. This guy mentions Belgium especially for family policies, but the Austrian ones and also our German policies are superior to this - while the Belgian taxes are highest and the potholes are deepest. There are many lists and videos of this kind, recent ones, videos where The Netherlands, Austria, Germany are IN Europes top 10 to live, work and to raise children, right behind the Nordics (incl. Iceland), behind Switzerland (and maybe little Luxembourg also) _for a reason._ Cheaper countries to retire and to travel to like Spain and Portugal should not even be on the list. It's apples to oranges. Why not travel to / retire in Sicily, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Albania, Romania then? Much cheaper, also beautiful! Don't get me wrong, I like Spain, Portugal, Belgium, France, but they shouldn't be included here, at least not when he makes it _sound_ like "based on facts". In the end it's always the same with you populist guys. Immune to facts, constantly whining, celebrating and projecting your own personal negativity. And while doing all this, you name yourself "patriotic". I think, I even commented some wild posts from you elsewhere before, Armchair Admiral, right? Remember? Well, I can ensure you this one today: We, the Germans as a whole, we will NOT let total cluelessness, dishonesty and hate (AfD) control our government. Exactly this (!) will KEEP Germany - at least the western part - ON the lists of GOOD destinations, for to travel AND to live. Our education system is just too good for the AfD to manpuliate more people - and our overall values (esp. human dignity), they are precious and inviolable for a reason!
@@DalaiDrama-hp6oj I'm not an AfD fan or sympathisant. 100% surely not. But I can reverse your conclusion/question: Are you a voter of "Die Grünen"? Because your reaction to put me into the far right corner, just because I dare to criticise the government, is what those persons always do.
@@heiko3169 Ok, sorry for this then. Yes, honestly! But do you understand my points a bit? Germany is still a favourite place for many people. You can also see this here on YT, for example in the comments under the original vid. No, I didn't vote for the Greens at all lately, but it tells me something that you think I did. I'm also not at all saying that there are no problems/challenges here - I'm not saying that our government is great - but I'm also not saying it is bad. It's just so (and that's a fact), that _not_ every hitch in a country is /has been caused solely by bad governance. I didn't vote but I don't mind the Greens. Writing a comment like this one (yours) is populistic imho. It only helps the extremists in the end... Imagine thousands of people each reading hundreds of comments like this. We have a lot of populism here these days. It's not only the AfD, they are just doing more of it and worse. In the end, comments like the one you wrote above, they _cause_ Germany to _become_ less attractive; at least a tiny little bit.
@@DalaiDrama-hp6oj Let me put it this way to make it very clear: Avoiding topics at all, just because it could be seen as populistic is a fatal mistake! Why? Because it damages the trust in the government & politicians. The current government did this for far to long, and the result was the opposite of what they intended - just for the reason I gave above. It's very simple: If the government would have listened to the people and acted earlier, the AfD would NEVER have been reached more than 10%.
@@heiko3169 The important thing here is sticking to as much facts as possible. Seeing different aspects of a situation, like science does it. Yes, there are tendencies in this government, - like in every government - to sugarcoat things. But it's not "the government" as a whole, since subjects in there have different opinions on topics and they also do make quite different statements. Everybody has been wildly bashing the Greens for two years now, but imho the person, the one who is doing what you describe the most, that is Olaf Scholz himself. The party that is blocking progressive decisions, that is mainly FDP from my view. They also lost relatively more voters than the other two govenment parties. Sadly, Scholz is not using his possibilities/ his power to handle this. And still, if you take a look their coalition-contract, they did much more work than previous governments (in pure numbers, that is fact). All that in a time with serious troubles round in the world. Many issues we face today have been caused like a dozen years ago. Results take time to show on a larger scale. What is this "listen to the people" like you say? Populism? Who is "the people"? - Everybody who likes them just keep their fossile fuels to heat their homes? Not possible BY LAW (Art 1 GG)! - Cut welfare for the ones not working to just bread and water? Not possible BY LAW (Art 1 GG)! - Keep nuclear reactors running after long times without proper security checks (PSÜs)? Not doable without planning in time and not possible without this by international law. - Supporting Ukraine, sanctions to Russia? Not only necessary, but it IS actually the people's (majority) will. - Foreigners? The AfD scores highest where there are _less_ people from different cultural backgrounds. Finally: Soften the dept brake as recommended by the IMF to open new rooms for maneuvering rough waters in more effective ways? It's kind of not possible for this government to do it on their own, even if the FDP wanted to. This would need the CDU/CSU as well, so in the end it is not "our government", that isn't doing it. Sounds crazy, but could even be done without the FDP. FDP would surely get back on track with voters opposing this, BUT the CDU/CSU _could_ loose some, so they are no help here. That is sad, because it looks totally selfish to me. As things stand, CDU could still become "next chancellor", if they loose like 10%. My hope is that CDU/CSU will see this necessity and then start finally acting after our next federal elections in fall 2025. ____________ I do not see AfD staying at 10% with different politics like you do. That is because I am very active in countering their propaganda, and so I see how it works... I have a psychology- and sociology- background also, I am a therapist, I get to listen to what people tell about their problems. The far right is connected across the globe and supported autocracies around the world. The use rather new social media possibilities connected with older KGB and NSDAP tactics to destabilize the western world. The man behind the rise of Trumpism during the last decade, that has been Steve Bannon, at least quite a big part of it. There is not only his connection to Russia, he also met with Alice Weidel for the rise of AfD and their strategies. This movement is close to 50% in the States now, same in Hungary, it's at ~30% in Austria etc. - you probably know about other countries like NL, France, Poland etc. Overall, in comparison, with 17%, it is not _that_ bad here in Germany. It is _too_ much of course, especially in the east. Poor insane destructive people leading this movement, bad intentions. The problem for Germany is special: The rise of a far-right party harms our country much earlier than a far-right movement elsewhere would do harm there. We are in a spotlight here for reasons, and the AfD has done a lot of harm already.
Excellent healthcare in Switzerland, well, that's just a laugh for me .... I live in Austria, not even mentioned here, one of the best living standard countries at all .... The EU has not been petty, in fact in a lot of sectors like border checks for goods there has been a grace period for years. And the UK is still not fully 'Brexit', the patience of the EU has been extraordinary. The EU is build on rules and laws. Thats it's strength. The UK just complains when those laws(which apply to all countries outside the EU) are applied to them. But thats exactly what they wanted, to be outside the EU. The UK just loves bashing the EU as the source of all of it's problems. But the fact is that even outside of the EU those problems have only been getting worse. France, however, is often seen as rude and either rural, suburban, or drastically upper class, and historically a very snobbish country, like Italy... another gorgeous country too! These two are such proud people that it is difficult to argue with them while you are there, as they are strikingly beautiful, elegant, modern and ancient! Oh and they suffer from extreme romanticism! 😂 with luck in a good way 🥰
In fact, all of Europe is spectacular! 🤩
But the best of the best I would say are Portugal and Spain though!👌
The metropoles of Lisbon, Porto, Madrid and Barcelona are simply incredible! 🥰
Poor enough video.Sweden being the safest in the world really even if the right wing exaggerate what is going on in sweden ,doubt if its the safest anymore.Leaving out the language which half the Belgians speak is a disgrace not belgian but seriously very poor even if the rest of the video was fine which it wasn't.I am irish and though it was not a bad representation it had which many of these videos have a castle with red roofs which definitely is not in ireland
Sweden is rather safe unless you’re a non-native swede dealing drugs. They have a tendecy to go shooting each other.
Iceland is the safest
Norwegian but checking this video from my Vacation home in Spain 🇳🇴😋
Do Belgians know that the national language is English? 🤔😅
London and Rome are cities in countries that are not included on this list, so it would be strange to mention them.
Try Croatia! :)
Netherlands, belgium, and germany are the countries you wanna move to if you wanna move. But that is just comming from a ducht guy. 😊
I live in Belgium but could imagine living in the Netherlands or Germany.
Would rank this compilation of tourist not very high, all not positive issues are left out, e.g. climate in the Nordic countries, the big price difference within these countries (capital vs rural areas) and the language skills necessary to integrate. Finnish is one of the most difficult tongues to learn and in the North of Portugals even Brazilians are struggling 😊
Iceland), behind Switzerland (and maybe little Luxembourg also) _for a reason._
Cheaper countries to retire and to travel to like Spain and Portugal should not even be on the list.
Remember?
Well, I can ensure you this one today:
We, the Germans as a whole, we will NOT let total cluelessness, dishonesty and hate (AfD) control our government.
@@DalaiDrama-hp6oj Let me put it this way to make it very clear:
Avoiding topics at all, just because it could be seen as populistic is a fatal mistake!
____________
I do not see AfD staying at 10% with different politics like you do.
Fran, have you visited Europe?
funny how the Netherlands is not even in the top 10 🤣
Fran, where in Europe were your ancestors from?
Portugal is not "very cheap". Specially nowadays. Although, combining all the good stuff, we are the best country in the world :)
you certainly have the best climate in the world! hands down
Croatia
Naravno da je izvan kategorije, kao i Toyota, ona je Lexus za ove Volve
The 'bridge' you saw about Portugal, is actually an ancient Roman acqueduct. Bye 😊
Excellent healthcare in Switzerland, well, that's just a laugh for me .... I live in Austria, not even mentioned here, one of the best living standard countries at all .... Vienna votes best living standard city in the world ..... like all raknings: this is also highly subjective
For me, for example, I never would live in Scandinavia with halt time darkness through the year (look at the suicide rates ....)
Im from Norway😊❤
Croatia is paradise, and these are the best on earth. But forget it quickly, so as not to haunt us
Poland is the best !
The narrator puts Norway and Switzerland above Denmark, as one the safets countries in the world. That is hillarious. In fact Denmark is number 4 in the world after Island, New Zealand and Singapore. Norway and Switzerland is not even in top 15. This list just placed the countries randomly, by not comparing them by the same factors. The leading european countries would be Finland and Denmark, due to high quality living.
The reason we have had to fend off so many invasions over the centuries, They want this wonderful continent , Tough, you cant have it ,
Portugal ain't in Mediterrian, at least technically, maybe..?
lol this video dont mention Greece!!!! But it speaks for Europe which is a Greek name ...
No way that Italy is not in this list
I'm going to give you some news that will surprise you. And you know, every day you learn new things... PORTUGAL is not in the Mediterranean... what things? Ehhhhh. And Europe has 44 countries.
Come to Romania to eat mici and sarmale and you never go back in your country :))
Have you ever been to Europe? Why don't you comment on Europe and just approve the comment?
And Germany is not even on the list, although it is the second most common global migration destination after the United States?
How do speak such a beuatiful English?
Sweden is safe country ha ha
Because what he says is not always true
Finland is pretty expensive too. And Sweden has now really high murder rate, and crime rate overall.(For European country)
Some researchers have said that per capita Sweden is on par with USA on murder rate. It's because they had huge crackdown on organised crime and leader's went to prison. Now there are lot of gang's that have hot headed youngsters as leader's.
This crime wave started this year. 2024
Not very true though.
I am from the south of The Netherlands, but my wife is Greek. I, and we, have been in many European places, not only capitals.
But Greece is my absolute number one. From the islands to the central Greek mountains, winter and summer. It became Home. But this was a laughable list, full disinformation.
Rome is beautiful but caotic, inefficient, there is unimploiment, I am Italian, Italy has amazing quality but also a lot of problems.
Ex patria, haha. Immigrants is the right name.
You seem to know a lot about different topics and countries - but can you please do a little bit of research before your reactions? thank you :)
I stopped watching the video when it said that Portugal is a Mediterranean country
Europe 51 country😂😂😂
esta Portugal entre otros y no esta Austria , ridiculo informe.
Porque no dices que está España entre otros y no está Austria ? Porque metes Portugal y no metes tu País , imbecil
You are doing a post on Europe and you don´t EVEN take the trouble to look up how many countries there are? Lazy.
i'd rather see an honest reaction including honest misconceptions than someone just memorising numbers from wikipedia... you do know this was a reaction right, if she made an informative video about Europe that would be different, but she reacted to a video... she could have just looked everything up that was in the video beforehand, but then she could have just skipped reacting at all...
@@Bunny_Aoife No problem with that, but "I looked it up and Europe is about 50 countries" - she could ALSO react to that.. "I was REALLY surprized!"
ete floci
I belive its 44 countries in Europe.
12:43 both London and Rome are abit crappy. I mean, the air isnt clean it smells bad in both cities, trash and exhausts from too many cars.
The UK leaving the EU might be a reason it was left out. The EU has constantly tried many and various petty ways to get back at the UK since BREXIT
Switzerland & Norway have never been in the EU, yet both are highly ranked.
@@RobertTaylor-gz2fu I think you missed his point.
Britain leaving the EU is why they have been so petty, not that they were never in the EU.
@@Muckylittleme That wouldn't cause a country to be excluded from a top ten like this. The original video isn't from a political site.
we are sorry about that .
being petty towards UK 😛 is part of EU law .
It doesn't stop them from blaming the EU though.
Guapa, antes de hacer videos informate,vale......y,sobre todo, porque hablas en ingles si eres hispanohablante?.....
Portugal is not on the Mediterranean.
