I wanna ask my parents landlord to change their carpet bc theyve been living there for 20 yrs. But can this be done with the furniture still in their one bedroom apartment? Its quite small and they have big furniture can they install say half of the room and then move their furniture to the other side to keep installing the rug?
Landlord is installing new carpets in LR, and BRs. First he wanted to do it in one sweep, but I said no because, we have a small space and cats and it will be too much to do it like that so I arranged to have the BRs done first and then the LR.
Some customers have brains others are just thick and expect furniture etc to be moved by you. If anything gets damaged or broken they will have your goolies on a plate😮
Are they going to be able to get the project finished in one day? That needs to be communicated with the installation team. Ask them what rooms they will be starting in
Adapt and overcome! Take it outside. Take it down the hall and put it into another room. Leave it in the room and come up with another plan to install around it. I’ve had to put Carpet in plenty of times with couches that were unable to be removed, because hallways and kitchens were too narrow to move into, and it was raining outside to move the couch.
That’s the wonderful thing about cameras. They kind of make everything look the same. The original carpet was pretty matted down in walkway. And the color is just about the same. New carpet is just a little lighter

Can I leave clothes inside my moveable wardrobes?
Is it heavy? Post installation teams work in twos. Are they going to be able to safely move this fully loaded with clothes?
What was wrong with the original carpet? It looked fine. And the new carpet looked like the same color! 😳
