I used to scoff at the side cut. then the other day I had to fit into a finished wood reducer. came in clutch. this is why I like watching my trade in other countries. well done.
Simply. Thank you, expertly explained and simified.

this would be great help because next week i will fit a carpet on one of my tenant's room. cheers mate.
Thanks Good luck! 😁😁😁
you guys make it look so simple. Soon I will have to do it myself . Thank you for the tutorial.
If you guys buy a power stretcher like the polls or bear claw it will actually stretch the carpet and ripples won’t appear after words
I’ve fitted thousands and used a power stretcher a couple of times, no need for them if you know what you’re doing, no ruckles ever appear on my jobs.
You guys are awesome! really helpful videos
Thanks so much, we appreciate your support! 👍
Great video. Put my 1st carpet down. Looks great. Thank you! You didn't warn me about the bad blister from using the bolster though! 😂👍🏻
Best tutorial out there, thanks!
This is a very useful video. Way better than the BNQ official video. I spend way too many hours to lay a carpet but then was struggling to lock the carpet in place. I am going to try again after having watched this.😊
Thanks so much for this video! I don’t know why we Americans are opposed to taking off our shoes, but I definitely will. This is a fantastic video. 👏👏
I did notice the audio was a bit messed up. The sound kept switching from L to R and wasn’t synced in all places. Hardly an issue with such a great video. Cheers from Texas!
Yeah…..!
What’s not to like?
A great video , frank and honest instruction/guidance, a clean and professional end, result.
Thanks lads ..🇬🇧👍😁
Wow, thanks!😊💪🏼

Thanks mate appreciate it 😊
When I see the sky a tree or maybe the ocean with a tattoo on it maybe then I'll think about get n all bill boarded up. 😮
Great video tutorial.
Thank you!
I think I will leave it to you chaps thanks for the video
What a great practical guide. But my knees are aching after watching that!
Great job lads, and good instruction. Nice to see you didn't cut the Vs off around the pipes, was one of my pet hates, I was taught to tuck them in. I learnt 40 years ago, and probably 1 in 4 of the carpets we fitted was an Axminster, so had to get the pattern straight, and pattern match HSL it was great to see the back of patterned carpets the job became a lot easier and faster, if it makes a comeback fitters will recall the good old days when it was all twist.
Yes I remember that, I was always taught to tuck around the pipes so if the radiator was ever moved it was an easy repair.
I also remember when fitting Axminster folding the bottom rise on a step so they could be moved if they started to wear. All man made rubbish these days.
Thanks mate 😁😁😁
Amazing techniques... So generous... So entertaining... You both are so down to earth that you made me feel like 'I' accomplished something 😂
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Very precise and informative! Well done.
Thanks 😁👏🏼

Absolutely correct about shoes. If i cant wear em, someone else is going to install. Good installers watch where they step.... No mud, mou automotive oul spots, no dog do do.
By the time youre unrolling the carpet ant forieng residu has been walked off and thf shoes are fine.
My toes cannot handle the lack of support. 49 years and still no carpet damage from wearing shoes.
Great video lads, very easy to follow 👍

Nice one lads
I’m just about to lay my 5th ever carpet, learned some new top tips
Keep up the good work!
Thanks will do 😁👏🏼
Wow you made that look so easy. Thanx for that
Good demonstration but I just bolster the carpet into the skirts then run the knife along at 45 deg. Along it in one sweep. Quick bump with the carpet thumper, jobs a gooden. An average longe only takes about an hour to do.
Great informative video!
