One of the greatest receivers of all time.
Cris Carter had multiple different QB'S and was still catching passes with ease 🔥💜💛🏈🏉
Well after the first minute of the video I could see why
Moss and Carter, one of the best duos. I may hate the Vikings but this was pretty cool 😂
It was a trio you forgot Jake reed. Casual
@SPAR888 who hurt you? I didn't forget him, but I'm referring to the two best for the Vikes. Relax 😂
@@kevinuchiha6830 Jake reed was just as good as both of them
@@SPAR888absolutely not 💀
@SPAR888 he was, I liked his game. It's one of the only good things that Minnesota had. Insane how that 98 year they couldn't win the big one
I have been waiting for this moment for y’all to see Cris Carter highlights. He is one of the best wideouts to ever play for the Minnesota Vikings. He is one of a kind that was a pass-catching machine.🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈
We already knew, legendary $hit!!!!!!
Oh yeah!!!👍👍👍👍
so underrated 😭😭
He was awesome very underrated player no denying that!
how is a hall of fame player underrated?
@@One__Of__OneBy fans. Not by HOF voters.
Slept on cuz he always used both hands, like they teach you

EVER?

THE best hands. True GOAT.
The way he spoke about Buddy Ryan after that game against the Eagles speaks volumes to the type of character he has.
Buddy didn't make public why he cut Carter and took the heat for it
Probably the most confident wideout I ever witness! He always played with high confidence! Student of the game. Great body control and greatest hands in NFL history!
Cris Carter was a DAWG and the ultimate team leader and mentor.People forget, most are prisoners of the moment put some respect on this man's name.
His greatness brings tears to my eyes
"All he does is catch touchdowns"; dude is a legend.
Vikings and Buckeye fan here Cris you are the man thanks for all the great memories God bless
Best hands I have ever seen. Saw it all the time. He was amazing to watch. Great times here in Minneapolis!
All He Does is Catch Touchdowns
And crack
"apprehend" touchdowns lol

The one handed catch at Ohio State was real like real recognized real! 1:25
Who was the real that recognized the other real?
Cris Carter was a real BadAss of a WR all he does is not only going through one full year without dropping the football but all he do is catch touchdowns the Ohio State University Buckeyes Alumni didn't have a great Rookie of a year in Philadelphia but after he went to Minnesota he became the G.O.A.T from Day-1 and never looked back there's no question he was a impactful player in his Prime now he's a Hall Of Famer one of the greatest hands in NFL's History!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 0:38
One of the best ever especially when it comes to hands, I think Larry is the only other WR who can rival him in that area
One handed catch: *exist
Cris Carter: and I took that personally
Yawn

CC was one of my favorites. The original toe tapper!
CC might be the one of the most underrated players of all time. He always gets overshadowed by moss but he is genuinely a top 6 WR of all time
nobody cares about top 6. he is a hall of fame player. impossible to be underrated
@@One__Of__One when do you ever hear people saying he’s one of the best of all time. I’ve heard mfs say that AB’s better, than TO’s better.

My Dads Favorite Football Player All Time!!!💜💛
That sign saids it all! 15:55
Cris Carter and " Well Dressed " Amani Toomer are the two greatest side line catchers in NFL history, Cris of coarse #1
Man he was fun to watch growing up!! I was 8 when the Vikes picked him up in 1990. He was definitely my favorite player in the 90's!
Without Cris Carter, there would have been no Randy Moss. Not to the level he became. It takes greatness to mold greatness.
Cris Carter was always my number one favorite receiver because of his consistency, work ethic, and his class.
👌🏼
The good side of Owens personality his drive to train and be the best, he was mentored under Rice in his infamous training camps. Cris Carter will always be known as the best hands and footwork in red zone. Legend
Fabulous all time WR....glad i got to watch most of his career
Lucky man wish I was old enough but I always do my due diligence to study up on the past greats
And don’t let Larry Fitzgerald start talking about him, amazing that 2 of the best ever meet like they did and become who they became.
Randy and Larry's careers aren't as great without Cris Carter's tutelage imo.
Chris is the man ! He was a dog ! MN Viking fan here !
This highlight reel is unreal!!
Imagine being a CB and you have to cover Cris Carter or Randy Moss lol
Thats one of those "yea coach I think i got the flu" type of games. I dont need to be part of their highlight reels lol
one of my favorite wide receivers growing up!! Throw it high and outside!! My words to my qb in the huddle !!
11 tds on 45 catches is insane
One of the best WR ever but let’s not forget also one of the best analysts on TV, when he was with ESPN he was the life of the party and above all knew what he was talking about. Like Shannon Sharpe…you just want to listen to these guys. Why they didn’t renew his contract I’ll never understand. CC, you’re a legend!
John Jefferson was the one handed stretch and catch master
@trance9158
I’ve Been Saying The Same Thing Since 1999. #83 John (JJ) Jefferson Not Cris Carter Or Larry Fitzgerald Has The BEST Hands 🙌🏾 Of ANY Wide Receiver In NFL History & Is The Originator Of The SPECTACULAR Leaping 1 Handed Catch While Simultaneously Keeping His Tippy Toes In Bounds On The Sidelines As Well As The Boundary Line At The Back Of The End Zone.
th-cam.com/video/7PVJMyBKUPA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=leWNGLmd0ikgl0W5
Absolute legend! The types of catches he made would still be considered amazing today and they have all types of sticky tech on their gloves now
You can argue that he is the best WR ever… take championships aside for a the argument… if you do, he is IN the conversation
Nope, you can't make that arguement EVER!
He's DEFINITELY in the convo
@@nujeru99 You do know it took Chris Carter 7th year before he had an 1,000+ season? Plus, he spent most of his 1,000 yard seasons as a #2 WR behind Jake Reed and Randy Moss. In the best ever convo, no way!
All time great? Yes. Best ever? Absolutely not
Extremely underrated he never gets mentioned with the greats
Uh what? He most certainly does get mentioned.
@@marcmayhem0412 no he doesn’t what are you talking about I almost hear nobody bring his name up that’s cap bro
C.C. on the spot!
He was so good in the 90s. Definitely the #2 Wr in league during the 90s
He wasn't the fastest, he wasn't the quickest, but he was just fantastic. Chris Carter was the king of the OMG moment.
Considering he played with Randy Moss, you can definitely say he was a threat
He MENTORED Randy
This statement makes zero sense.

Real Goat 🎉❤
Stop clowning.
I remember meeting him when he played in Philly. He was at a Big Brothers/Big Sisters event & was a really nice dude.
My Mt. Rushmore:
Rice
Moss
Carter
Owens.... Honorable Mention: Megatron
Owens over Carter for sure you tripping
Chris Carter was one of the best wide receivers of all time!!
Steeler fan here and definitely looked like Swann and probably the most criminally underrated wide receiver of all time. Enter Moss to the Vikings kinda stole some numbers from him though it didn't matter to Carter as long as they won the game. Also damn tough guy.
He came to my school wen i was in 5th grade 2010 at stonybrook in Indianapolis & i ain’t even recognize how great he was when he was talking to us🤯
😂🙌🏿 he one of THEM
CC was a beast. One of my favorites. Super smooth and very sure handed.
Had some of the greatest hands OAT and mentored one of the Greatest WRs OAT
One of my all time favorites. The other one? Randy Moss of course.
All he does: catch touchdowns! Chris Burman made that saying legendary!
Many Sundays and Mondays watching Chris Carter. Thank you…
I was never a Vikes or Eagles fan but I always liked watching Chris play. He didn't have the blazing speed, but boy did he have hands and run his routes well. His ability to adjust to the ball and catch it at all angles with a priority on using two hands was exceptional. He made some one handed catches, but it was always necessary and not some showboat move.
If you want to understand why people criticize modern NFL players for their attitude, you can compare Carter's response to being let go by the Eagles after his failed drug test to any number of current players. Not an untoward word was uttered by him regarding the Eagles. He was actually complimentary of Buddy Ryan (which I'd never heard before or since). He knew he'd messed up, and didn't blame the team for releasing him, rather he saw it as an oppourtunity. All communicated by him, not through some proxy like social media or an agent. He's a man. We admit when we are wrong and work towards success.
This is how I was taught to play receiver as a kid. All business, no flash, just find the ball.
Young guys could learn a-lot studying his tape. Me and pops actually practiced the post for hours every summer. I never turned around, I would just look up and the ball would drop right in front of me without breaking stride.
I actually didn’t know carter played for the Eagles first.
That Duo was Tha BEST!!!!! 🥇🥇🥇🥇📡📡📡🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍
I wasn't a Vikings or Eagles fan but man Cris Carter was a special player & fun to watch even if you weren't rootin for his team.
It was also so special seeing him Randy, the way they played together.
By far one of if not the best route runners and catcher of the football.💯💯💯
Best hands ive ever seen and I've seen alot of football in my life
I know Jerry Rice and Randy Moss get most of the love as the greatest receivers but pound for pound in the last 40 years, I think that Chris Carter, Sterling Sharpe, and Art Monk were the scariest and most dangerous possession receivers in the game during their time for my money. I’d have to put Terrell Owens and Michael Irvin in there too.
CHRIS I'm from Middletown ohio and you're very respectful to Buddy Ryan and youre a legend here. I remember watching you play highschool basketball. Such a treat. Everyone always wanted to see you dunk and I'm sure that got aggravating after a while. Congrats to you on all of your achievements in life!!!!
Greatest Hands I've ever seen in my lifetime. I hate how he never gets mentioned in these "Greatest WR ever" discussions
Hands down! C. Carter was the best receiver to tight rope the sidelines.
As Packers fan I remember Tyrone Williams & Craig newsome trying to stop him
Chris Berman: All he does
Tom Jackson: Is Catch Touchdowns
MAN KIDS DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND HOW GOOD THIS MAN WAS
7:30 quote followed by catch followed by leaping over table effortlessly. Poet warrior. We can all draw inspiration from such examples of what a man can do.
What I loved about his story, Buddy Ryan's complaint "All he does is catch touchdowns" lmao. Buddy scoring points is how to win. Buddy was so overrated as HC, 3 playoff losses no Wins, but Eagles fans love him to this day. His Eagles D were never top 10, except a peak year at 5th in 89, blown out by Rams. 1991 same 5th place D Kotite accomplished in year one.
Carter went on to lead the league in TD catches in 95, 97, 99. Chris Berman kept dunking on Buddy every Carter TD in highlight reel. "all he does.......is catch TDs"
@@WalterWhiteFootballSharing
The Reason Why Buddy Ryan Cut Cris Carter Was Because He Failed Multiple Drug Test. He & Cris Carter Publicly Admitted On Carter’s A Football Life Episode That He Just Made Up The All He Does Is Catch Touchdowns Excuse So People Wouldn’t Know The REAL Reason He Was Cut.
Stupid comment. It wasn't a complaint, Buddy was protecting Carter from information on the failed drug test getting out as it would have hurt Carter's career and his potential second chance. Buddy took the heat for Carter with that comment
Carter and Moss could be the best duo of all-time. Moss alone was ridiculous and when you pair him with Carter you probably have the best duo of all-time.
If not for Randy Moss, he would be the GOAT of all Vikings.
@@LiamDeege he is the goat tf you talking about?
@SPAR888 It’s my opinion, and I respect yours as well.
@@LiamDeege fair, sorry for overreacting

Adrian Peterson is on that list
I wish that Cris Carter won a Super Bowl Ring because he certainly do deserve one or two but it just sucks so bad he didn't get it! 13:24
Cris Carter did had 122 Receptions in 1994 and 1995 in the same season! 7:47
Absolutely loved watching him play, made catching a football look pretty. To this day no one makes it look as artful.
Best hands in NFL history. fight me
Loved watching him. And loved watching him and Moss together
Watching Carter n moss play together was amazing
Call that man Ben Carson with those gifted hands
Easily one of the greatest receivers ever.
One of the best ever!!
I wanted to be like Cris Carter when I was a kid
Your channel is a real source of inspiration and enjoyment. Thank you for your creativity and dedication!🛩💷🐅
That in and out route was my killer on the field in my day. Learned it watching Carter
One of my favorite WR in this game! Three wide receivers was nothing new, and shows you how great Mississippi Valley Coach Archie Cooley was. Coach Cooley was running 3 WR's with Rice, Debardelaben & whoever else he wanted. Carter and Rice have the same work ethic. Put in hella work to perfect their craft.
The hands, the feet, the memories.
In my opinion Chris Carter is a top 10 arguably top five receiver of all time he was a beast
Most underrated receiver of all time!
Thanks for the memories!!
People always talk about how good Moss’s hands were, but he had the second best on his own team!
This cat trained so hard. Incredible talent.
his list of jaw dropping catches is long. one of my all time favorite players. Moss landed in a good spot
One of the absolute greatest, and maybe the only WR other than Jerry Rice who did well against Prime.
A Badass WR In His Generation. 🔥
In the immortal words of Buddy Ryan, “all he does is catch touchdowns.” 🤯🤣🤣
Jerry Rice, LS, and Chris Carter. Best of all Time.
