I have been waiting for this moment for y’all to see Cris Carter highlights. He is one of the best wideouts to ever play for the Minnesota Vikings. He is one of a kind that was a pass-catching machine.🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈

Probably the most confident wideout I ever witness! He always played with high confidence! Student of the game. Great body control and greatest hands in NFL history!
One of the best WR ever but let’s not forget also one of the best analysts on TV, when he was with ESPN he was the life of the party and above all knew what he was talking about. Like Shannon Sharpe…you just want to listen to these guys. Why they didn’t renew his contract I’ll never understand. CC, you’re a legend!
Cris Carter was a real BadAss of a WR all he does is not only going through one full year without dropping the football but all he do is catch touchdowns the Ohio State University Buckeyes Alumni didn't have a great Rookie of a year in Philadelphia but after he went to Minnesota he became the G.O.A.T from Day-1 and never looked back there's no question he was a impactful player in his Prime now he's a Hall Of Famer one of the greatest hands in NFL's History!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 0:38
One of my favorite WR in this game! Three wide receivers was nothing new, and shows you how great Mississippi Valley Coach Archie Cooley was. Coach Cooley was running 3 WR's with Rice, Debardelaben & whoever else he wanted. Carter and Rice have the same work ethic. Put in hella work to perfect their craft.
Without Cris Carter, there would have been no Randy Moss. Not to the level he became. It takes greatness to mold greatness. Cris Carter was always my number one favorite receiver because of his consistency, work ethic, and his class.
The good side of Owens personality his drive to train and be the best, he was mentored under Rice in his infamous training camps. Cris Carter will always be known as the best hands and footwork in red zone. Legend
I know Jerry Rice and Randy Moss get most of the love as the greatest receivers but pound for pound in the last 40 years, I think that Chris Carter, Sterling Sharpe, and Art Monk were the scariest and most dangerous possession receivers in the game during their time for my money. I’d have to put Terrell Owens and Michael Irvin in there too.
CHRIS I'm from Middletown ohio and you're very respectful to Buddy Ryan and youre a legend here. I remember watching you play highschool basketball. Such a treat. Everyone always wanted to see you dunk and I'm sure that got aggravating after a while. Congrats to you on all of your achievements in life!!!!
Imagine being a CB and you have to cover Cris Carter or Randy Moss lol Thats one of those "yea coach I think i got the flu" type of games. I dont need to be part of their highlight reels lol
I wasn't a Vikings or Eagles fan but man Cris Carter was a special player & fun to watch even if you weren't rootin for his team. It was also so special seeing him Randy, the way they played together.
Steeler fan here and definitely looked like Swann and probably the most criminally underrated wide receiver of all time. Enter Moss to the Vikings kinda stole some numbers from him though it didn't matter to Carter as long as they won the game. Also damn tough guy.
@@nujeru99 You do know it took Chris Carter 7th year before he had an 1,000+ season? Plus, he spent most of his 1,000 yard seasons as a #2 WR behind Jake Reed and Randy Moss. In the best ever convo, no way!
I was never a Vikes or Eagles fan but I always liked watching Chris play. He didn't have the blazing speed, but boy did he have hands and run his routes well. His ability to adjust to the ball and catch it at all angles with a priority on using two hands was exceptional. He made some one handed catches, but it was always necessary and not some showboat move. If you want to understand why people criticize modern NFL players for their attitude, you can compare Carter's response to being let go by the Eagles after his failed drug test to any number of current players. Not an untoward word was uttered by him regarding the Eagles. He was actually complimentary of Buddy Ryan (which I'd never heard before or since). He knew he'd messed up, and didn't blame the team for releasing him, rather he saw it as an oppourtunity. All communicated by him, not through some proxy like social media or an agent. He's a man. We admit when we are wrong and work towards success.
This is how I was taught to play receiver as a kid. All business, no flash, just find the ball. Young guys could learn a-lot studying his tape. Me and pops actually practiced the post for hours every summer. I never turned around, I would just look up and the ball would drop right in front of me without breaking stride. I actually didn’t know carter played for the Eagles first.
7:30 quote followed by catch followed by leaping over table effortlessly. Poet warrior. We can all draw inspiration from such examples of what a man can do.
Carter and Moss could be the best duo of all-time. Moss alone was ridiculous and when you pair him with Carter you probably have the best duo of all-time.
This is why us Lions fans revel in our recent success as much as we are. Everyone in the NFC North has somehow always had some great player fall into their laps and done something with it except the Lions until now. Vikings are always blessed with the best WR’s, Packers seem to find quality QB’s, and the Bears always have killer defenses.
I saw CC do something that I’ll never forget. Vikings vs Redskins at RFK in the 80s and CC ran the most intricate route and scored against Darrell Green. It’s extremely rare that DG gets beat so that always stuck with me.
Cris Carter had multiple different QB'S and was still catching passes with ease 🔥💜💛🏈🏉
