My first time going to a Packer game! Bengals at Green Bay... a coworker gave my dad the tickets for free because the Packers were horrible so far that season. Magic Man gets hurt and in comes Favre.... crazy that would be my first live game!
I was at that game also, it was my first game at Lambeau Field !!! My brother and I go out the parking lot after the game and Jerry Kramer and Fuzzy Thurston were next to our car! I was amazing I had Jerry Kramer sign my ticket. What a memory !!! Glad to hear you have the same experience!! Go Pack Go ! oh yean later on in 1996 I was drawn thru the NFL and got tickets for Super Bowl XXXI !!! Took my Dad !
@gorlynmortenson7969 a year or so later, I was a student at Washington middle school on Green Bays east side, and Reggie White came to are school to speak in the auditorium.... he had shortly before just signed with the Packers. An incredible time to be a Packer fan!
My dad went to school with Jerry Kramer in North Idaho, he was a Packers fan since 1957 when Kramer was drafted. I was born in 63 been a Packers fan since.@@gorlynmortenson7969
@@mikeposenke2345our school. Obviously your school failed you
First Packer game I ever saw, Age 12 and came to U.S around 10 living around Wausau WI
Why was this cut off before he explained the play?
That's what I just thought
To get you to go check out the full 1-hour interview so you can hear the rest of the story. 🙃

@@cornxx3 It's on this channel. It was the next suggested video when I watched this one.
Brett you were fun to watch play.!!! We always had a feeling of We have a chance 😀!! Thank You. GO PACK GO
Even from an opponents pov. Generational talet. I was fortunate to be able to watch his entire NFL career.
Artie Lang on Joe buck was hilarious
Totally wrekt him
poor people in Mississippi eating cereal w/water instead of milk could give less thanAF
The irony of having Buck say 'And lead' and then Brett following with 'And lead' is beautiful
Atlanta drafted the wrong guy this year too.
But that sounds like a joke Jerry Glanville would say.
I'm a UW fan. Penix is going to be a great quarterback for you guys....SOMEDAY 😂😂😂.
Yeah it's not the pick I would want if I already have a 40 million dollar QB on the books for at least 3 years. Should have drafted a D lineman or receiver.
@@chrismacdonald4570 I wanted him to go to Minnesota. Big fan though. Wanna see how he plays on Madden
@@jacasoasheland6815
I wanted him for Seattle.
@@chrismacdonald4570 no
Well he better than JJ that for dang sure. That was a waste of a pick.
I'm a big fan of anybody that Jerry Glanville doesn't like.
@wepprop Glanville wasn't the worst problem the Falcons had at that time ,Ken Heroc the GM at that time was terrible
Interesting Trivia, his major at Mississppi was, Special Education
Cool
No it wasn't. He went to SOUTHERN MISS.
He dated your mother.
Explains why he stole welfare money.
The man could play ball. Thanks for those memories Brett.
I’m a lion for life, but I always been a Brett Favre fan. I love you Brett. All time best QB
Wonder if the Atlanta coach live to see Brett make the Hall of Fame 😮🫣
Who did Atlanta draft in the first round pick they got from Green Bay?
Amusing story. ATL swapped picks with DAL and ended up drafting Tony Smith, RB from Southern Mississippi - where he was Favre’s college teammate for two years. Glanville hated him as well and screwed up his career just like he tried to do to Favre. He only played 3 seasons.
So can someone answer the obvious question: who was the QB at/from Mississippi State?
You always felt that if Brett was playing, there was always a chance. He'd find a way.
I remember when he played in his first (?) Packer Game. The Bucs Defense was awesome and had a habit of knocking opposing QB's out (the offense sucked though.) They knocked Dan Majkowski out and Farve came into the game.
Feel like Favre could have had a couple other rings. Of course, John Elway's destiny collided with Favre's.
Favre was do or die. He doesn't have more rings because he threw int's or Td's. They were at bad times too. FG range, he can go to OT to beat the undefeated Pats in the SB and he throws an interception. Same thing in MN. A chance to take on Manning. (In a game Manning would've wanted to win.) And he gets hurt and throws a bad pick to the Saints to end their chance (mannings heart was not in that game at all. Peyton asked Daddy if he could win, and Daddy Manning told him "no," as in N.O.
@@mikehawk6120 this isnt 💯 accurate to why he has less rings. Tom Brady was 11-6 in the playoffs with a QB rating under 80. Favre was 0-7 in the same. Brady was 3-1 in playoffs throwing 3 INTs. People put way too much blame and way too much credit for SBs to QBs. It's called the "ultimate team sport" for a reason. People forget Favre dominated the Saints D for the Vikes. They had double the saints yardage but the Vikes had 3 fumbles twice in the red zone, one on the opposite red zone. Favre was lucky to be standing at the end of that game too. Context is everything
It would seem Favre would have been an ideal fit for Glanville's Red Gun offense. Not sure why he shunned him so much.
Horrific Laugh-track.
As a Niner fan with Montana then Young..there was nobody who I hated playing more than Favre and the Packers he wld throw darts falling down! Seriously he made throws no other QB did
That beard is making him look like the man! Zeus right there
Better thank “ The magic man” for getting hurt
Green Bay's favorite son. They can have him.
Farve does a good country hick accent 😂
This man is the reason why I became a Packers fan, i'm not even from Green Bay let alone the US.
Aim higher. Guy is a scum bag of a human being
who cares
@joseph5000 I do, but don’t give a rip about you
As a Vikings fan, I hate the Green Bay Packers. I hated Brett Favre until he donned the purple and gold and buried Green Bay twice his first year. He almost got us to the promised land, and I appreciate what he gave us. He's a legend.
Same here.
I forgive Favre
This guy loves volleyball
FLICK BRETT FAVRE ...AND JOE BUCK TOO, FOR GIVING THIS CRIMINAL A PLATFORM!
better than what BLM does
Sorry but, why did Jerry Glanville talk with a southern drawl? He grew up in Ohio and Michigan.
Joe buck gets offended when Randy moss fake moons the crowd, but not offended by a guy that steals from the poorest of the poor.
I tell you what, Brett was a key part in returning the packers to greatness. Has he made mistakes? Of course. But haven't we all? Watching him play with that huge heart for the game was inspiring, fun and bone chilling. It was a fantastic ride for this packer fan.
Mistakes?
Are you serious?
There are different types of mistakes, and rich people stealing from poor is the worst.
F off
This would be a great show to watch if it wasn’t for Joe Buck
My 2nd ALL TIME player.....right behind Bart!!!(SBartkowski!!!!!
Ask him about the Mink Pen
Brett, what are your thoughts on tax payer money paying for volleyball stadiums?
He's not the only one doing it, he just has a famous name and background
@@brettseaberg5033he still stole money and he knew he was
Not every interview has to be about dirty laundry. I'd rather hear this than some rehashed scandal.
The scandal is over. Enough already. He repaid the money. No one is perfect. He’s still a legend of the game.
@@qnelson1000 haha he absolutely did not repay the money, holy delusions batman!
The laugh track it’s cringe
I don’t think there is one. There is a studio audience.
the laugh track is SO BAD
There is literally a audience....wtf 😂
@@packers12to80 notice the audience appears to be the same across multiple interviews and all camera shots are super narrow focus ( never see the audience and the interview on the same shot)
OMG, IDK Atlanta has been fumb ducks going back that far!
What awesome editing.....NOT.
Of course it was against the Bengals.
I believe the Falcons made another mistake trading Ridder to the Cardinals
Good joke

FLICK BRETT FAVRE ...AND JOE BUCK TOO, FOR GIVING THIS CRIMINAL A PLATFORM!
Legend! The Mississippi stuff is whatever .
What a fool Jerry Glanville was!
That southern drawl almost gone. From America
Why did they add a laugh track to this?
One wrong doesn’t negate another. Stop making excuses for wrong. This is the problem with America. We call one thing evil while making excuses for the exact same actions for someone we love. Just despicable.
"We call one thing evil while making excuses for the exact same actions for someone we love."
That's called hypocrisy.
What’s did Joe buck do? I’m out of the loop I feel.
“So I get in the huddle and I say, change left…………………..”. Awwwww come on! 😡
Being from a small town in Northern Wisconsin it was all about rhe Packers.
Brett Favre magnified the joy and energy that all Packers fans felt from his first game to his last.
Glanville must have really kicked himself for trading Favre 🤣
Ask him about the stolen money. How is he not in jail?
Idc what they say, when he was on the field, Brett Favre was my hero
Allegedly
When Gerry didn’t like Brett, that’s when he decided to invest into volleyball
He was the toughest QB ever.
I will agree with you there. Maybe the toughest player ever.
Um yeah he was great for us till he got to the Vikings, he was horrible for the poor folks in his home state, still a Packers fan but I'm not thrilled with the person off the field favre is, reality says Charles Barkley was right don't have athletes as role models
He was always a double agent from Green Bay, and he threw that pick to the Saints on purpose. You should thank him for that.
People can admire others and even have role models, but they should all come with a disclaimer, “No warranty. Results may vary.”
YEP THEY DRAFTED BRET FARVE IT WAS A BIG MISTAKE
Why why why! Stop talking s about Farve and listen and respect.
The Absolute Toughest Man to play QB in the NFL A Cannon for an arm A Great Leader jerry glanville ???????? Sucks
Why is this guy being promoted?
He seems have a pretty good memory. Perhaps he can recall the process of securing the funding for the volleyball stadium....
Perhaps.
LEGEND!
Hey look its sticky fingers himself.
Proof Jerry Glanville was a complete tool.
Why are you interviewing this guy while he is embroiled in a criminal scandal?
Why are you giving this criminal a platform. He stole millions from the poor and needs to pay it back or be incarcerated
Shouldn't this guy be in jail?
shouldnt you?
@@bobbobertson7568 you doof
@@bobbobertson7568thanks for your comment stupid.
For what, a slanted SI article? The News are already in prison for the crimes that article tries to claim Favre did.
Why because he got governors to pay for his pet project? I didn't realize that you could just walk into the Federal reserve and pull out money like he did allegedly
Is he still ripping off the poor?
No but it m guessing you are … your a looser
@@anthonythomas1750 are you saying winners commit welfare fraud?
Only when he’s not sexually harassing women
It's legal to ripoff the poor. If you ripoff the rich you go to jail.
Ummm he stole nothing from the poor he actually took money from the government who stole it from hard working citizens and actually allocated the money better than they would have
"Oh Sh*t" was that Mississippi welfare money? My bad
Big deal. Money wouldve gone to illegal aliens or crack rocks fir degenerates
so is this an old interview? recorded well before everyone found out he stole money from poor people in his home state?
*allegedly
Ends abruptly. BS
And now, after all the glory, he's probably going to prison for a significant amount of time because of his infamous Food Stamp fraud.
Hey Brett, won’t you tell us a story about how you took money from poor people in Mississippi allegedly
So Favre is getting away with a felony?
Of course he's rich.
FLICK BRETT FAVRE ...AND JOE BUCK TOO, FOR GIVING THIS CRIMINAL A PLATFORM!
Yep so did OJ
His "Good Ole Boy" persona kind of falls flat after he got caught scamming money from Mississippi welfare recipients.
As a person from Mississippi, he's a POS for what he did. But I also know that a vast majority of welfare recipients from that place are lifers who definitely abuse the system to get that money for essentially their whole life. The governing of the state is even worse. So much is paid in taxes and it goes nowhere near education, infrastructure, or anything that progresses the conditions of the state. Straight into the pockets of scumbags is where it all goes. Will never go back there.
Low IQ remark. He didn't scam anyone. It was public employees that wanted to rub elbows with famous athletes that didn't tell the athletes where the money came from. Marcus Dupree of the ESPN 30 for 30 episode "The best that never was" received $750K along with Ted Dibiase of WWF fame.
Was he found guilty?
Joe bucks funny hehe........not funny haha.....jmobservation
Do you know why he should be in prison? Or do u watch too much t.v.?😮 you know what you are told, not what you know!
Are you completely stupid? Do you know that you're stupid? Do you have any concept of how stupid you are?
Bro we saw all the text messages.
Glanville was a twit.
Why is this guy not in prison?
Because your mom needs his d@ck.
Why are we still giving this guy a platform?
Because we don’t all subscribe to cancel culture.
@@patton67 well you clearly haven't seen what he did???
Like Marino, amazing thrower.
Like Marino, not enough film study.
You think Marino is the reason the dolphins didn't win a SB? That's hilarious
Go back and watch Favre dissect Ray Lewis and the indomitable 2001 Ravens defense and tell me he didn't study his opponents.
1 Super Bowl! A lot of people who are hard core Super Bowl championship team fans might say if he could go back in time Farve would not be the choice over the many years with only one Super Bowl! He got a ring. Full stop. Look at the cowboys! Farve is valid. Now could he have been more valid? I think so. I think for all his praise snd accolade’s he should be able to show two rings. And so it is I am glad the cultish media coverage of him seems to be over now.
Do you know how hard it is to win a Super Bowl? You make it sound like it's easy. Dan Marino never won a Super Bowl and he's top 5 all-time.
Favre *
Favre is OVERRATED!
I thought this guy was going to jail?!
A comeback win against Cincinnati is not that great of an achievement.
What about the millions of people that knowingly receive welfare every month, housing, ssi, food stamp card, free cell phone, etc., but are perfectly healthy and able to work but won’t because they know they can beat the system, they are the ones that should be in prison!
You're right, those should completely exonerate what Favre has done...
What kind of stupid ass logic is that? Anyone and everyone who breaks the law should get the appropriate punishment. Dumbass statement.
Yeah, that totally let's Favre off the hook.
It’s sad and scary watching interviews from players that were in the NFL for a long time. The glazed look in their eyes screams CTE. Favre has the same look as Brady, Montana, Manning, Ed Reed, Ray Lewis , etc. It’s also the same that Mike Tyson has.
This coming from a long time HSFB coach.
🤞 let's hope.
Favre has openly talked about the cognitive decline he has already experienced as a result of the concussions he sustained.
No one gives a shit about what Favre has to say anymore.
Apparently, they do in fact care.

Maybe Rodgers, but what about favre makes you think that? Dude balled his whole career & never acted like a prima Donna. You trippin
@pockeyway I'm talking in his retirement. He loves to talk about himself. He's gone on numerous podcasts, interviews and it's all about him. Plus this scam he pulled to build a volleyball complex at his daughter's school. How many millions has he made? He thinks he's untouchable cuz he's the great Brett.

Rodgers giving facts shouldn't trigger you.
They only said that because they knew he would eventually grow up and steal money from poor people.
say what you want about him but he really cares about other people's welfare.................
😂😂😂
If I steal from poor people can I get on the show next?
He has always been a dirtball. Stealing poor people money.
Brett Fraud was a great football player, but has shown himself to be a terrible unethical person.
To the crying eyes that he's not in jail. He put that money to better use than the Mississippi welfare system ever could. Or Mississippi welfare recipients for that matter. 🍉🍗
Thanks for your comment retard.🤢🤮🤤
He won 1 super bowl with all that greatness that is a huge letdown I think he was the wrong guy
Same as Rogers.
Do you forget the other teams at that time? Green Bay had a good team in the 90s but not as great as Dallas.
Brett Farve should be in jail not on TH-cam cracking jokes.
Don't hate Brett, he seems like a really good guy, a good leader, etc. But I think he's one of the most overrated QBs of all time. This guy was a pick machine compared to many others who are quality QBs that are rated, all time, lower than Brett.
