Great, and very thorough review. This reminds me of the SHARGE STORM2 battery bank, but that particular one doesn't support passthrough charging and its display screen is microscope. Does this support passthrough charging, and is its screen readable without a magnifying glass?
@@jorisbonson386 It looks like they may have silently updated their features, the version I bought on November 1, 2022 from Amazon, absolutely does not support passthrough charging.
great video with a lot of great info...but one suggestion...stop chewing gum while you film, that mic you have is picking it all up and it sounds terrible and is horribly distracting.
Hey, can you test please whether it reboots power to ports if using both USB C and USB A as output(load) and USB C as input(pass through mode)? In other words can it sustain load on 2 interfaces and be essentially an UPS.
Most important thing is the name of battery manufacturer, it is a reputable one like Samsung, Sony, Panasonic, etc or a cheap Chinese one inside the power bank? Can you confirm the brand of cells?
haha, I know. But this is where it's coming from: "The Ćuk converter[1] (Serbo-Croatian: [tɕûːk], English: /ˈtʃuːk/) is a type of buck-boost converter with low ripple current.[2] A Ćuk converter can be seen as a combination of boost converter and buck converter, having one switching device and a mutual capacitor, to couple the energy."
What a video. Was on the edge of buying it, your video convinced me to purchase one. Make that 2. Thank you!

Yes, timestamp 07:55 Pass-through charging. The screen is very bright!

@@fullsleevetats I have it too, and it absolutely does.

I can't confirm without cutting it open. Would you like to watch a teardown video?
@@ToolsElectroDIY No need, just found it in another video. They are 5 x 21700 cells in series from EVE, a good brand. My mistake. 👍
